This is the first bakery that I tried during my visit to Denver and I fell in love with this place! Izzio bakery is located in the Central Market food hall and the vibe when you walwalk up it's very inviting. You can see the bakers on the side making another batch of pastries. They offer a variety of pastries, breads, and brunch. I went on a Sunday afternoon and the line was not too long. The service was quick and efficient. I got the matcha cheesecake la roulette and it was amazing! It was literally the size of my hand and they did not skimp on the filling. Pretty much every bite had filling with it. The croissant part of the pastry was flaky and buttery which complimented the sweet filling well. The filling was tangy with a nice taste of matcha. I hope to return one day to try the other pastries and roulette flavors! read more

Finally! I made it to Izzio Bakery! When I arrived at 11am there was a line not that big but a line. The place was crowded. They have different restaurants in one roof and Izzio Bakery is one of them. I got in the line and of course I already knew what I wanted. While in line I saw people grabbing their breakfast that let me tell you something they looked amazing. I need to go back and try their breakfast. Finally! My time to order the customer service was good, the variety of pastries and flavors for each of them was excellent. I really quick ordered what I wanted because I didn't want people behind me to wait too long. I grabbed a Chocolate Ganache La Roulette and a Dulce de Leche La Roulette. Also, I added a Nutella Queen and a Pistachio Queen. The quality of the product was PERFECT! The texture, the flavor! You are buying high quality pastry that if you aren't careful you will be addicted to them lol. I will definitely come back again! It was delicious! The ambiance of the place is a little too much because there's a lot of people but the experience to get the pastries makes it worth it. read more

Came here on a Friday around 9:30am after picking a friend up from the airport. We wanted something quick and delicious. Plenty of street parking in the front. I have been to Denver Central Market on the weekend and at night, normally it is very busy. Today it was empty! Ther have plenty of places to sit and eat. Plus bathrooms. It is a pavilion style experience. We got two croissants - a ham and cheese and chocolate almond. The chocolate almond was absolutely amazing! They ham and cheese was good but honestly it had too much cheese in it for me. Still good though. I would like to go back and try some of the fun looking pastries. Recommend if you are look for breakfast or a yummy snack. Overall 4/5 read more

Izzio's was one of the first ones to pop up when we Google-mapped for bakeries. We popped in around 10 am on a Friday and were a bit scared as we saw from reviews that pastries here GO FAST. Thankfully, we still had lots of options to choose from! I like the ~different~ flavors that they had here versus traditional bakeries with your classic chocolate, strawberry, caramel, etc. They recommended any of their roulettes so we got the matcha cheesecake ($9), passion fruit queen ($9), and ham and cheese croissant. While the flavors were good for their more specialty pastries, we found it a bit hard and dry. I enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant - was super soft, fluffy, and had a good amount of filling! Prices are steep but we enjoyed the variety they have here! read more

The baked goods are out of this world...we tried so many and they all hit the mark. The eggs and bacon were great. My only gripe is the avocado toast, it was bitter and even though the menu description makes you think it will be flavorful, it completely lacked any flavor...even salt. BUT with that being said I will be back for the pastries and bread read more

I've been here twice now and it never disappoints. Over my visits, I've tried: - Dulce de Leche Churro Croffle - Peach Queen - Raspberry Cheesecake La Roulette - Tart Cherry Queen - Chorizo and Cheese Croissant - Berry Cake The Queens are hands down my favorite thing. Ask for them to be warmer up. The tart cherry is my favorite. It's their version of Kouign-amann. I also love the croissant and berry cake. Their Roulette's are all over social media. I've had many versions of things like it and this one wasn't my favorite. It was too crunchy/overcooked for my liking. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area looking for dessert. read more

It's funny how TikTok and Instagram can completely blow a spot up. Search Denver eats and you're sure to come across the Izzio Roulettes. As a sucker for croissants and kouign amanns, I could resist! I pre-ordered in panic that I'd miss out but I don't think it was all that necessary. We stopped by on a Saturday night and they still had all their offerings. I came back on Sunday morning for my preorder and the only pro was that I did get to skip the line and just get handed my bag quickly and easily!! Yummy perfection! I went with the matcha cheesecake roulette and the filling was delicious. Husband loved the dulce de leche Q (kouign amann). Its all about the sauce here. The dulce de leche topping and the matcha filling were both what really made these stand out! Worth a visit! read more

The food was very tasty! We both got burritos and both were pretty yummy. Also, the pastries were really good too! All around this is a pretty good spot to stop by. The reason I rate it 4 stars is because it's in this bustling food market, which makes it hard to move around and find seating. I imagine if you get there early you won't have to deal with such things. Otherwise the food is really good just in a really busy spot. read more

Wow! We love a good market and Izzio is located in an awesome market with tons of great options. I ordered the Pachamama Bowl which was divine. It was fresh, balanced, flavorful, and excellent portion size, delicious, filling and it came out quick. All the pastries looked good and there were multiple things on the menu I would have wanted to eat. The chef was nice and gave me extra sauce after I finished the first one. Tried the Tropical Passionfruit Mango Le Bar and loved the tangy, tropical flavors. The flaky texture of the croissant combined with the soft filling was fantastic. It was $15 which is pricey but for a unique and specialty pastry like this, it was worth it. We also tried the Passionfruit Tart which was good as well. Would definitely go back if we are in the area again! read more

My new fav brunch dish is here! The egg Benedict's on croissant is amazing but only available on the weekends. This place went viral a few years ago for their pastries, but make sure you try a little bit of everything! The crown and roulette pastries are amazing. Bakery located in the Denver Central Market. Line was pretty long at 11am and it took around 40 minutes to get our pastries. Roulettes have a bit too much cream so I preferred the queens over the roulettes. Dulce de leche roulette was way too sweet. Mango passionfruit crown was less sweet and the passionfruit cream is to die for. Izzio burrito was good, very cheesy and eggy. read more

Well, I've been wanting to try this trendy roll croissant for a while and they have several versions, so I got a raspberry white chocolate one today. It's large, fluffy and filled with quite a bit of jam plus some white chocolate. oh my flucking god....praise the baby Yeezus Izzio is the real deal. I judge bakeries on their dough and layers of flakiness....and ya know what? Izzio is one of the stations inside this cool food court. I have had one bad and one good experience at this bakery. The negative one was watching an employee on their phone and touching food without washing their hands. When I brought this to their attention I would have died if looks could kill. Honestly, why do kitchen staff even have a phone in their hands at all? Especially, in an open kitchen layout. The positive visit and the reason for all the stars is the yummy baked goods. Their food is good, so if the service steps up it will be a great place. Dulce de leche croissant is very good! I am scared to find out how many calories it has, but YUM! read more

Saw a viral tiktok video of this place and had to try it. And it did not disappoint. It reminded me of this coffee/bakery we had in Hawaii that was amazing. This place was a close second to that one. Difference was this place isn't as soft as the Hawaii one, which is why I knocked the star. We tried a chocolate croissant, tart cherry croissant and triple berry crown. I also very much enjoyed that they were aware of ingredients and could easily point out the eggless items for my toddler. read more

The roulettes: Worth the hype- debatable A tasty and filling brunch option- sure! Located inside the central market in Rino, this bakery offers the infamous roulettes and SO MUCH more! From your go-to brunch options to many other baked goodies both sweet and savory, this bakery might possibly have it all. I honestly only visited to try the roulettes, but I'd try other offerings (over the roulette) upon my next visit I tried the dulce de leche flavor, and the creamy filling complimented the baked crispy texture very well. P.s it may be pricey, but good for 2-3 servings. Lots of street parking and indoor+outdoor seating make it a very accessible eatery. read more

Open from 0800 to 2100 hours. Most bakeries close early not at Izzy, we can always get that after dinner cake and carb load up before you hit up the bars. Located inside Denver Central Market. Someone said it reminds them of a mini Seattle Pike place market. Outdoor patio is available for people watching those trust fund millennials walking their golden poodles wearing Gucci leashes. Izzio is the offspring of Etai's and Udi bread so it's all related to the family owned U Baron Group. *Kouign Amann (pronounced KoonYahMon) Is a muffin like pastry from Breton (Brittney Region of France). In the Breton language (Celtic family) Kouign means cake and Amann means butter. It slowly bakes the sugar to caramelize the dough into laminated layers. NY times described it as "the fattiest pastry in Europe". In 2014, episode 7 of series 5 of the BBC's The Great British Bake Off, featured the kouign-amann. Izzio does have the most flavor options of pastries, scones, and cakes. Their brunch menu is offered on the weekends and it looks tasty as well. They also had some SF sourdough loafs available. My only beef against Izzio is the complex menu. When you give customers too many options we get confused. So I prefer simple menus with less than 10 items. Overall Izzio is probably your best option to try out many kinds of pastries and figure out what you like the most. Traditionally in France the Kouign Amann is baked as a large cake and served in slices. But here in Merca, we don't like sharing, so have it all to yourself and buy another to go. Je n'ai plus faim "I no longer have hunger." read more

We got the pistachio queen pastry which was perfectly flakey, light, buttery with a honey baklava type taste. I really enjoyed it! We also split the farmers bowl which was a potato and egg bowl and then we also got the avocado toast which was good but I wish was seasoned a bit more. Overall the pastries are 10/10 and the breakfast food I would give 7.5/10 just because the eggs were slightly cold and avocado toast lacked flavor but was fresh! The service was fast and friendly even though it was super busy with a huge line on Sunday morning. This is located inside Denver central food market. This place was a bit hard to find since it is located inside Denver Central Market and their building number is different than the one for Izzio. I've been to this market before but never got the chance to try these roulettes until recently! I got there first thing in the morning on a weekday. Parking was readily available on the street. There were so many baked goods choices but I had to narrow it to my favorite dessert flavor - matcha. There are clear instructions to not refrigerate them and consume promptly. I brought them on my flight back to SF and within those hours, it was still perfectly delectable. The matcha cream was a great balance of matcha and sweetness and the pastry was crispy and buttery. Have you ever stood in line for twenty minutes at a bakery and ordered one of the easiest things on the menu? A croffle to be exact. A waffle with cream and berries. And then waited another 15, almost twenty minutes while literally everyone in front of you AND the atleast 30 people behind you are served and received their food before you? Well you can at Izzio! It took three employees noticing that everyone had been served and the entire line was gone before I got the Simplest thing. If I had known I could have ordered an entire smothered burrito, eggs, avocado toast, and other bakery items quicker than it took a croffle to come out in a to go box I would've just ordered a burrito. For almost nine dollars I wasted forty minutes for a croffle that was a 6/10. read more

Came back to try their pastry roulettes and they are phenomenal. They are definitely share size worthy, and they have a surprise filling inside that matches the flavor. The Apple caramel had real apple fruit in it and a caramel ribbon that was so delicious. The filling is not over powering of the pastry, which is perfectly crisp and flaky and buttery. FOOD - Where do I start? Just looking at my photos makes my mouth water. Breakfast Burrito - made from quality ingredients from egg to protein, and the sauce was top notch. Eggs on Brioche - Bread was buttery and flaky. Ground sausage was well seasoned. I just want to go back and eat there again. Pastries - to die for. All delicious and no complaints whatsoever. I did come here for the Chocolate Ganache La Roulette. Surprisingly, I love the Dolce De Leche La Roulette for more than the chocolate. Maybe the dark chocolate was too much for me, and I like dark chocolate. SERVICE - Cashier was super friendly and helpful with my decision on what to get.
