A great place to get deserts! I know they offer something that's savory as well, but I dived in first into the land od sweets. I wasn't expecting anything to disappoint me and I wasn't faltered*. I only bought 2 desserts/ pastries and those alone, I knew anything I tried would be great. The crème brulee, cracking is the best part, but the pastry along song the brulee was perfectly sweet and flakey. The lemon tart was tart but also balanced with marshmellow-y goodness. Izzio Bakery is located in Central Market, so it can get busy and it's could be wide open. There was a bunch of street parking, but I did go on a weekend and just got lucky. I think it was Sunday so if there was meted, which I can't recall, I didn't have to pay, but it is for 2 hour parking. Centrla Market is large with an open concept, think a fancier buffet/ cafesteria style. They ofter a large cariety of food isn't just sweets, but things from croissants, cookies, pancakes to something a little more savory, such as burritos and chicken shwarma. It was super worth though, getting to share this yumminess with friends. We had finished lunch in the Denver Market, so now it was time for sweets. This was completely hardened and stale when we tried to bite into it which is why I'm giving it 3. Visiting Denver for the first time, I got to visit the Central Market for the first-time and so happy I did. I was looking for something sweet and seeing the growing line at Izzio Bakery drew me over there. I *LOVE* fruit tarts, so grabbed one of those to eat at the many cute lil tables by the bar area as well as a chocolate croissant to have on my flight back home. We visited on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy with a line down the counter but the service was quick and attentive. I paid $30 for 4 pastries which was a bit much but I will admit the quality and flavor was worth every penny. My favorite item is the cheese danish which is a buttery flaky pastry with a large amount of tart cream cheese filling. My husband said the chocolate filled croissant was really good. The dulce de leche roulette was extremely decadent - I didn't realize it was filled with dulce de leche filling and got a headache from how sweet it was. The mango passion fruit roulette was delicious as well. This is a great place to stop for a sweet treat but be prepared to spend some money especially if you're getting any of the sandwiches or other food items on their menu.
