First time ordering from here, necessitated by me leaving my breakfast and lunch sitting on my kitchen counter instead of bringing it to work. Ugh. Ordered the ham and egg breakfast sandwich on a Portuguese roll, asked to add lettuce but it was not added. No sauce of any kind, so it was super dry. My bad for not asking for a condiment. Ordered a chicken salad wrap for my lunch and it came with a bag of chips. Looks to have been grilled, packaged in a clear plastic clamshell container. Asked for lettuce and onion, and it was included. I think I will attribute the very strange taste and texture to "don't buy chicken salad from a donut shop", my bad. Lastly, ordered a butternut donut (because how can you order from heav'nly donuts, and not order a doughnut?) Unfortunately, I hate shredded coconut and this is covered in semi-toasted coconut. Maybe it's my misunderstanding, but my idea of butternut is the small crunchy yellow "crumbs" like at Dunkin - should be called a coconut donut? (but I guess it's different at each donut place.) I apologize for comparing this place to DD! All tolled, I'd give it a 4 (if I could it'd be a 4.5) and would like to try other items in the future. read more

It's not as good as some of my other favorite places that I like in Providence or in the Maryland area, but I wanted to try something different. I used to love Heav'nly Donuts, but in the last 6 months it seems IMPOSSIBLE to find a location that is open when the hours listed on their website and/or on Google maps claims they're open. Today, for example, Google sent me to a location that was allegedly open until 8pm. I arrived at 7:30pm and it was already completely closed--clearly the employees left long ago--and when I checked their website, the hours listed there were until 10pm?!?!? This review is about 137 Pelham St. Food and coffee was OK. Service was bad. My wife is Colombian, and has an accent, spoke to this server in English. The server, who I believe was African, said 'she didn't speak Spanish'. I figured maybe the server had a problem with my wife's accent, so I took over in Standard American English. The I found out the server didn't speak English AND she had a bad attitude AND she didn't know her job. Asked about what flavors for the coolers in the window? A huge problem, she didn't know what I meant and didn't know where to direct me. The flavors were clearly written on a sign, to our right, but she didn't know enough even to point there. Placed a large mobile order for a back to school meeting for the teachers at my team. There was no ice, which is listed for an ice coffee box order. I got all the way to school and had no donuts from my order. I spent a lot of money and didn't have what I needed for my teachers. Will not be back to this franchise. read more

So why Heav'nly? Better coffee than Dunkin's. A wide variety of flavored hot and iced coffee. They also have Cold Brews, and frozen coffees. They also have a good variety of donuts,bagels, and other pastries. But the variety is just the beginning. The donuts are fresh, soft and a decent size! Aside from the donuts, they also have breakfast sandwiches that use REAL eggs. You can get them on an English muffin, croissant, or bagel. I recommend getting a "Barnyard" on a bagel. The prices are still very reasonable, even with inflation. The facility and bathrooms are clean, and the staff is quick and courteous. The dining area could use an update. It's not dirty, just dated. Maybe a paint job / some decor. Nothing that would dissuade me from eating there or not coming back. I highly recommend stopping by if you get a chance. read more

If you are more interested in leaving for the day, do it! Not doing the store or customer any favors waiting on them! Just left Heavenly Donuts in Pelham which I usually have good reviews for but the girl that waited on me was clearly more interested in leaving. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a muffin and got a sausage egg and cheese. I got one banana muffin and she rang in a half dozen and didn't catch it, wanted to charge me $31.80 for that and 2 hot chocolates. Then I asked for the receipt and she said "it won't print now". I said it just did, it's right there, can I have it to which she handed it to me with an attitude like I had some nerve. GO HOME next time! Yeah I've been going to this location since they opened. I always get the jelly donuts and they've always been absolutely fantastic. Good food; poor management decisions regarding penny pinching...they messed up my order one morning...ordered on the app a coffee & breakfast sandwich with extras on it (which I was charged for) never put the extras on...I called back to ask for a refund due to lack of attentiveness & not even telling me upon leaving the drive thru. They gave me the difference back of the extras. Very cheap maneuver refund the $10 order to keep your reputation good. Second instance I use the 15% off coupon in the drive thru & was NOT given 15% off...total lie. Love my some heavenly donuts. Its pretty convenient having a dunkin donuts next to a heavenly. But the only reason I go to Dunkin over heavenly is when I cant get into the parking lot. Place can get extremely busy sometimes in the morning and definitely on the weekends, where there are no spots left in the lot (very small lot) and the drive thru is all the way on to pelham st. The coffee is very good and has a good taste to it. You can also add a ton of flavors and shots to iy as well.They have great donuts, bagels and pastries, but there brekfest sandwiches are by far the best. They use egg made right there and fresh bacon. none of that reheated stuff. If your a dunkin guy or girl (which I was FOREVER) I would recommend giving thos place a try and maybe you'll make the switch as well. read more

I don't understand how anyone goes to the Dunks next to these guys!? HD is incredible. Their coffee is the best and their sandwiches are to die for. It's nice to see a business thriving, but a good manager adjusts the availability of their product to meet the demand of their customers. I went to this location this morning at 11AM. 90% of the bagels were gone and many of the donuts were also gone. They have told me they have gotten very busy on the weekends. If that is the problem, then order more items from your main bakery for the weekends. This has been going on for about the last two months. Hate to give 1 Star, but it's the only way I think attention can be drawn to an issue that the business knows about - but refuses to address. Other than this below issue-they get 5 stars!!! Each morning between 7-9am, when most commuters just want to get a coffee and drive to work, they are immediately met with a steady stream of cars on the main road or no where to park to go inside. Die Harders park across the street to dodge angry traffic annoyed with the overflow from the shop. Why? Because a group of retirees (6-7) all congregate there and absorb the majority of parking which reduces all other patrons the ease of getting in and out. Not bashing the older folks, but seriously, be aware of your effect on the business with your one purchase as opposed to the dozens lost to frustrated patrons who can't even access the shop because you want to chat. The best donuts!!! They are always fresh and tender, sweet without being overly so, and well into the afternoon they still have a good variety available. Coffee rolls are definitely a favorite! I went there here today around 4:00pm and ordered some sandwiches inside. I have never experienced more unprofessional behavior in an business establishment ever. There were three kids running the place and they were fooling around and laughing from beginning to the end. Each time we added a sandwich to the order, the kid in the back would use profanity. The girl that was taking the order could not remember the order because her constant fooling around with the other workers and kept returning to ask us to repeat the order. My husband and I were very excited when a Heav'ny Donut opened near our house. They have superior food and coffee over Dunkin Donuts but the service leaves a lot to be desired. When going through the drive-thru window they get your order wrong 80% of the time. If I only did my job correctly 20% of the time I would not have a job. This Saturday morning we were getting coffee & breakfast sandwiches before a long road trip. We used the drive-thru because the car was packed up and we had our 8 month old son with us. Anyone with a child knows that carrying in a child to buy coffee is nearly impossible. We pulled up to the speaker ready to clearly and slowly order to assist in eliminating errors. All seemed OK when we ordered; receiving clear "YES's" after each item. When we got to the window they had to ask again what types of sandwiches we wanted and I could tell that my iced coffee was wrong. Shame on us for not checking my husband's hot coffee before leaving because his was also wrong. We had to stop at the next exit to get him a correct hot coffee at Dunkin Donuts and the donuts that Heav'nly forgot to give us. Who knows what we paid for because we never get receipts and the price for things changes every visit. Please Heav'ny set up a new system for drive-thru!
