Listen, I'm not saying this place is difficult to find. But if it weren't for the big sign just beyond the actual building itself, I'd have blinked once and missed it completely. Anyways, Crack'd Kitchen totally lives up to its namesake, for every single egg product here utilizes (wait for it).....REAL cracked eggs!! This may seem like a rudimentary feature. But when you take into consideration how many short-order breakfast places rely on liquid or processed egg, things like this are graciously appreciated by those of us with a palate above that of a seven-year-old. So, I had an opportunity to try this place out both to-go and dine-in. Right upfront, I will say the food is far superior when enjoyed dine-in style. Given the distance from my house, I can aptly say we'll be mostly opting for dine-in (unless the dining area is hella crowded). For to-go, I tried the Country Breakfast whilst the dine-in meal was one of their sammiches; The Basic, to be precise. Overall, both were little short of greatness in their own ways. Though, I made a few casual observations. As mentioned earlier, this stuff is way more enjoyable inside the restaurant. Ergo, I probably should have reversed which meal I ordered when. Despite that minor setback, I think I actually liked the Country Breakfast more than the sammich. Whilst the former carries decently well as a to-go plate, the latter could have benefited from some seasoning on the eggs. I guess that's why they also offer sandwiches with various special sauces. Not gonna lie....I am slightly curious about their honey-sriracha sauce. One day I shall be brave enough to fancy it. One other complaint I have about the platter specifically: you only get half as many hashbrowns with the meal. For....some reason. Meanwhile, I ordered a side of hashbrowns with my sandwich and it came with six. I would assume that'd be the standard across the board so....make it make sense? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Btw....I should probably mention the only reason I'm stuck on this point is because the hashbrowns themselves are amazeballs! They don't even need ketchup, but comes with it if you fancy that sort of thing. A few other housekeeping deetz: their gender ambiguous restrooms are located toward the back entrance. There is also complimentary water for folks dining in. So, yeah. We'll certainly be revisiting this place from time to time. Perhaps I'll even try a couple of over-easy eggs at some point. 1st time customer... i had the Bacon Jack breakfast sandwich and medium coffee. I was impressed with the sandwich but being an egg guy, I'd opt for two eggs the next time. The sweet, slightly tangy, taste was a nice surprise to the pallet. Can't go wrong adding an avocado to anything... you know... doing the faux healthy effort. The coffee is good! The smoothies are excellent! I really love their hash browns, very crispy and tasty. Everything else I've tried is just mediocre. Their bacon is always under cooked and chewy- not a fan! I'm also not a fan of the price point. It is very pricy here!! We each had a Baha burrito which were huge! I liked my iced tea and they make the iced coffee to order...cream with tonz of sugar! Order was ready in a few short minutes and service was friendly. We tried Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Salem, NH today! It's next to Jay & Jees Ice cream. What a fantastic experience and highly recommend it!! They have about 4-5 sit down tables. It was very busy when we walked in and were thinking our order would take forever to come out but it was the complete opposite. The location gets very busy but the team works really hard on making an extremely quick turnaround. There was a minute or so where the crowd died down which is when I took these photos. They also have online ordering and walk-in for takeout. If you order online they have a very organized wall station where you can grab your orders. If you walk -in for take out your food is less ready in less than 10 minutes. You can tell management cares about their employees as they are all highly trained, work together smoothly and provide a phenomenal customer experience! The food is incredible! We tried breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, iced machiatto, frozen strawberry lemonade, acai bowl and pancakes! Cant wait to go back! So glad a place like this came in too.
