I visited Dreo on a Wednesday night expecting a nice, relaxed dinner, but unfortunately it happened…read moreto be Music Trivia Night. While that may appeal to some customers, it created an extremely loud environment that felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Between the amplified music, announcements, and crowd participation, it was difficult to have a normal conversation at our table. For diners looking for a quieter meal, it's worth knowing that Wednesday nights may not be the best time to visit. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, and most of the food was good. We ordered the Caprese Salad, Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread, Grilled Chicken Pesto, and a Mango Poke Bowl. I understand there was a recent menu change, which is why my daughter decided to try the poke bowl. Unfortunately, while the ingredients seemed fresh, she felt the sauce didn't complement the dish well and threw off the overall flavor. Given the $26 price tag, that was disappointing. The pricing was another area that stood out. Most of the menu is on the higher end of casual dining, but what really caught my attention was the $5.99 charge for a bottle of San Pellegrino. Restaurant markups are expected, but nearly six dollars for bottled sparkling water felt excessive. Overall, Dreo has friendly service and some solid food options, but the combination of premium pricing, the disappointing poke bowl, and the very loud trivia-night atmosphere made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. I would consider returning on a quieter night, but I think customers should be made more aware of how loud trivia nights can be before being seated.

Orders were App was bang bang broccoli- great flavorful change pace from the typical bang bang cauliflower we find at a lot of places. One main was lobster roll on a gluten free bun. Side was sweet potato fries. My wife really enjoyed this dish. Second main was Korean Krispy Chicken side of tater tots. Chicken was cooked correctly and the sauce amazing. Drink was a non alcoholic Guinness. I loved and recommend this dish. Our server came back and checked on us regularly and offered dessert at the end. Now was it worth a $100 lunch after tip? Yes it is. Life is too short to not enjoy yourself. Now eat some great food.

You sit there for 30 minutes and you lose your appetite, causing the restaurant to lose money. Watched multiple people walk in and directly back out even with ample bar space. The food is some of the best I've had at the chain. Love the wings, feta dip, general tsos chicken, and burgers! Drinks and friendly conversation with bartenders is amazing! If you don't make a reservation, don't bother sitting anywhere but the bar. They have 6 hostesses on a given night and not a single one will greet you or act professional. Can't get an accurate wait time aside from "X number of people ahead of you". No communication that upper and lower level seating waits are different. At the end of the day, come here for the bar and decent food. Don't expect air conditioning or appropriate management.

The lobster here is the best I have had. I had both the lobster bisque and the lobster mac n cheese. Both were exceptional. The salads were very fresh and unique, especially the one with the cherries. The steaks and filet mignon are probably some of the best you can find. The desserts were over the top. My favorites were the coconut cream pie that had a cookie crust and the chocolate torte. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in town. It's absolutely amazing.

So bad enough to stay open when half the menu is not available. But the the meals we order: 1. Rare ribeye -well done 2. Pork belly and scallops - cold and only 2 scallops vs 3 advertised. 3. Carrots were basically raw based on crunch 4. Chicken parm shows up with non described pasta, but it was good. The waitress was amazing, I cant imagine subjecting my employees to a half menu then executing it so poorly. So - restaurants are allowed to have bad nights, I get it. We eat out a lot. But we ask to see the manager. Jim comes over with a chip on his shoulder from the start. We explain we were disappointed in the fact the half the menu was unavailable, he starts rolling his eyes. Despite all that, I can tell you upfront that our experience was more or less sublime. Naturally, there was one setback in particular that I just can't ignore (which we'll cover later). First, the good.. Clam chowder: Now, this was a March special. So, it's not on the regular menu, far as I can tell. But let me just say...this is by FAR some of the best damn chowder I've had in a restaurant! Granted, we're in New England. So, I'd expect nothing less. Just the same, it's worth mentioning. This chowder was perfectly seasoned to the point of not needing anything additional. And it had ALL the clams! SO many clams!! 10 out of 10, they really need to make this one more often! Queso dip: Again, we have a cheese sauce that's beautifully seasoned and creamy as all get out. One thing that perplexed us was the meat (or lack there of). We thought it would consist of larger chunks, but it was minced. Odd. I also would have enjoyed this one a lot more if the chips weren't so heavily salted. 8 out of 10, the cheese sauce is like liquid gold. Tavern burger: One thing I noticed both here and at the Derry location - not one person had taken a photo of the burgers. Like....ANY of them. So, I'm a guy who likes to view what he's about to get into. Far as first impressions go, this burger looked delectable! I'm talkin' the perfect charred sear, temperature nailed, cheese beautifully melted over top. Not to mention the kaiser rolls they used were brilliantly crisp on the outside, with a soft interior. Thing is....this burger would have been damn near perfect, if not for one thing: it was under seasoned. Quite weird, considering the hand cut fries were well seasoned. 9 out of 10, I'd still get this again and just sprinkle salt on the bottom or something. And for those wondering, wifey enjoyed her salmon salad also. Now then, I came across something peculiar when we first entered the place. When I went to utilize the facilities, one of the restrooms was allegedly closed for maintenance reasons. I say "allegedly" because, turns out....that was only HALF true. You see, their sink was broken. Okay. Fine. Whatever. It would have been helpful if they, ya know....mentioned the sink was broken as opposed to letting everyone THINK the restroom itself was ostensibly closed (as per the sign on the door). The whole thing was misleading and, quite frankly, unnecessary. Felt like a damn goober standing there in front of an almost perfectly functioning restroom. Btw, yes....they had hand sanitizer at the ready to accommodate the lack of sink in one bathroom. Anyway, service was excellent. Just a note though: it's loud as hell in here as you can very well imagine a bar & grill would be. But I weathered the storm easily thanks to my Loop Earplugs (no, that's not a plug. I swear!). So, yeah....overall, not that bad. No where near as bad as some folks suggested. Perhaps that was a different time. In any event, we shall return for future date nights. Till then, Friendly Red's Tavern in Windham is worth 4 bad ass burgers charred to utter perfection out of 5.
