My Personal Opinion: Domino's isn't Pizza. Let's Roll. I come from the land of Bagels and Pizza. Have I had Michelin Star food? Yes. Have I eaten fried dumplings while sitting on a sidewalk out of a Styrofoam box? I've gone out of my way to do so. Enough backstory. We're all here to see whether or not you should try The Ricochet. The answer is just Yes. If you don't care for why I've come to this conclusion, then stop reading and place your order. For the rest of you: Welcome. I'm telling you that this is the first place not from my land where I can leave it alone. I can eat it as it comes. It's thin and you can tell they care about their ingredients. The sauce itself. Think about that. Looking down at a slice a pizza after you bite into it and ask yourself: "Where have you been all this time?" The ambiance? Well this is a nice looking place. You can come into this place however you're dressed, but it's a respectable looking place. It's got a chill vibe. FULL BAR. FULL. BAR. PEOPLE. The employees? You can tell they believe in this place and not just slinging pies. In a world where people have lost their way, they are a beacon of light letting us know there is still hope. Food isn't bad! The food was truly the only good part. When I got there, I waited multiple minutes to be helped, despite being looked at by multiple waitresses that weren't doing anything (besides talking) at the time. It was clean inside, thank god, because I spent over an hour standing there waiting for my food, even though I ordered over half an hour before I arrived to pickup. I didn't go during normal dinner rush, it was not that busy when I ordered. No one was apologetic, the girl shrugged and told me they were doing their best, and made it feel like I was at fault for being a little confused over the wait. If THIS was their best, I am definitely not coming back. I was not the only person waiting for this long either, they seem to have an issue timing orders, something is off. read more

WOW! We LOVED this place! We were in the area and were tempted by reviews and photos. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the atmosphere fun and cool and the pizza worth and hour plus drive. The crust was thin with crisp edges and chewy center. There was the perfect amount of toppings so that you could taste the the crust, sauce and various toppings. Fabulous pizza is seriously lacking in New England. I can think of 3 pizza places to which I would drive an hour plus to dine and Richocet is the 4th. read more

This was my 3rd time here (last time was mid December) and it has changed and not in a good way. The menu is different and they got rid of a lot of things, and cut back on some of the 'included offerings'--now you have to pay a la carte. Don't go by the online information because it is incorrect. We had the mozza rollatinis (too sweet) and the figgy pizza (not many figs, and also too sweet) Will praise the onion rings though (delicious as always have been) I had been telling people about this place but will defer and see if it returns to how good it was--hoping this is only a seasonal change. Came here on a Saturday evening and to my surprise the wait was less than 20 min, usually on the weekends and especially on Fridays if you're not ordering online by 1630 you won't get a pizza ordered because the wait is sooo long due to only having one oven but trust me it's all worth it in the end. There's ample parking for them and there's parking across the street if you can't get something right in from of the restaurant. Let's get down to the food.. Ordered the mozzarella sticks as appetizers and boy were they super cheesy. I mean those bad boys made me choke by how cheesy they were lol. Jo's Cheese- was really good. It had the right amount of cheese and the under side of the pizza was well cooked. My daughter who's a cheese pizza fanatic really enjoyed it. The butcher- this pie was the highlight for me.. it has everything you need from pepperoni, bacon and ground steer.. what else is really needed with all that meat?? The flavor was amazing especially with how they burn your pepperoni but not really and it has that little crisp to it. Sooo yummy.. 9/10 The food was great! The chicken tenders are larger and juicy. Breaded but not deep fried crispy like a fast food tender (I guess more like grilled). The pizza had ton of flavors. The prosciutto balsamic was sweet and the spinach ricotta was savory but I suggest adding a bit of salt or asking for red sauce. The only down side it the crust wasn't fluffy and felt a bit rubbery to chew. Service is nice and food came out as normal. The inside of the place was small but very nice and cozy. read more

Food was good but the management was extremely unhelpful. I damaged my car on a giant pothole on the approach to the restaurant and they refused to give me contact information for their landlord. After a couple minutes they hung up on me and stopped answering the phone; I was very nice but couldn't understand why they are keeping their landlord information a secret. They lost a customer today, which is too bad because I like the food. UPDATE: I got the landlord's contact info from Hannafords and he was very nice! They already fixed the pothole and he promised to reimburse me. They said that "Joe" from The Ricochet had contacted them but not provided my information, so still unhelpful, but I'm all set now thanks to the nice folks at Hannafords! read more

Online menu different from restaurant menu. Only "specialty" pizza listed on restaurant menu - have to ask for cheese pizza with choice of toppings (and ask for the price). Customers sitting at tables by the door get blasted with cold air whenever the door is open, which was often as they have a thriving take out business. Restaurant ran out of white wine when we were there. There is a surcharge for paying with a credit card so bring cash. Music volume was at an assaultive volume when we entered- had to ask twice for it to be turned down to a level where you could hear conversation. They were out of the salad listed on the menu but were offering a different salad. Pizza was good. Staff was friendly. read more

The food, service and ambiance were terrific. This was our first time here. I wish they were open later. The chicken tenders were huge, enough for my daughter's lunch the next day. The veggie pizza is a thin crust. It was loaded with veggies and had fresh mozzarella. It was not greasy at all. If you like a thick crust this place is not for you. The dinner salads were also huge. The only downside is that the menu is somewhat limited. The drinks were pricey but fabulous. We would definitely recommend them and we will return. The food is only surpassed by the service and both are beyond stellar. Some of the most unique and fresh dishes you can find, not your average "pizza joint!" I also realize they run a restaurant and don't handle parking lot issues or repairs, so I don't hold the poor parking lot issues against a great restaurant and staff. Some people just got too much free time to complain about anything! Ps, we eat here at least once a week and have never gotten a flat from a pothole, how fast do you have to be driving for that to happen? read more

I liked this place but there are a few things they could work on. First, cute casual decor. Lighting adds a nice ambiance. We went for a late lunch and sat at the bar. The maple old fashioned was good, a bit too sweet - but should never be made with soda water! Next we ordered wings. They were huge, juicy, flavorful and crispy. 5 stars for them! We eventually ordered a pizza and a chicken parm sub. I asked for the hot honey drizzle on the pepperoni pizza but apparently they forgot. It took a long time to get the servers attention for this. 10-15 minutes after the pizza came my date had still not received his meal so he ate a slice. It was good, very thin crispy crust and no lack of pepperoni. Finally his sandwich came (I was done eating by then). It was tasty but for a "parm"it had almost no sauce and way too much cheese. My water glass remained empty for most of the meal. Therein lies the problem. The service was tremendously lacking. I would have rated this higher based on the food but might not go back based on the lack of service. There were plenty of staff not really doing much so they weren't short handed. Just inattentive. Finally a huge pet peeve: they add an upcharge if you pay with a card. We live in a digital world and using debit/credit is the norm for 99% of the population! This is a given cost of doing business and should not be passed on to the consumer! And you don't know until you get the bill. I never carry $100+ in cash, and I doubt most people do so we were stuck with the surcharge. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. read more

So my first time eating here. I have done take out before. I want to give this review 3 1/2 stars. The chicken wings were good, the onion rings were good and so was the pizza we got. The 3 1/2 stars if for the following. Seems that staff took up a few of the eight bar seats. They need more staff for the small bar and dining area. It seemed they only had two people taking care of all of that. They seemed to have a great take away. The service was slow, forgetful and seemed over whelmed. Woke up this morning, Phantom Gourmet in the background as we did our morning Saturday routines.. I was telling my fiancé how I wanted some nice crispy wings from anywhere. Heard of this place RICOCHET, located in Derry, just a 10minute drive for us. She got out of the shower and I said I know where we are going for lunch. Food and service was absolutely amazing. Walk in, greeted immediately, open seating. Immediately upon entrance we noticed the greenery and cozy setting allowing the perfect vibe for our early afternoon lunch. My fiancé ordered their chicken tenders (her go to anywhere) and I ordered the Chicken wings, perfectly seasoned, and I went with how they make them with a side of Blue cheese. Wings were amazing as were her tenders. We paired our food with a draught they had on tap of Contoocook Cider. Food and drink was 10/10 All in all, not a single thing bad to say about this place, also check out their back story to the name, and owners. In short-(Local to Derry, moved to Cali, lost home to wildfire, started a farm here, and now serve farm to table food) Absolutely amazing. Great service from our waitress, Sydney. Really love this place! Some of my all time favorites are the chicken tenders, with Buffalo and blue cheese for dipping. Onion rings are a must! And I absolutely love their pizza. Looking forward to trying one of their salads and sandwiches in the near future. It's cute in here. It looks like it belongs in a high end city, and not just Derry. Which is one of the reasons I truly love it. It catches you off guard. I think the owners are doing a fantastic job. I ordered a pizza online. They gave me a half hour window (5:00 to 5:30) as to when it would be ready. I was in the parking lot at 5:20 when they texted me it was ready. I went inside, picked it up and it was just warm. I expected it to be hot if it was just made. The crust was not your usual pizza crust. It was more like a flatbread. It's just not my cup of tea. This place got good reviews, that's why I tried it. It's more expensive than other places in Derry that I will go back to because the crust is more to my liking. I'm not saying it was bad. It just wasn't what I like, and the pizza wasn't hot. read more

Visited some friends in the Manchester area and we hit up this place based on the Yelp reviews and man it did not disappoint. Perfect thin and crisp crust with a nice balance of sauce and toppings. The pizza was delicious I split a pizza called the Rocco I think; it was meatballs and what looked like piped-on ricotta cheese on delicious thin-cut pizza dough. It's also a great Caesar salad with some of the best croutons I have eaten. The one complaint I heard from our table was that the chicken tenders we ordered tasted dry which could have been caused by accidentally overcooking them. I didn't try the chicken tenders personally but I thought the food and service were great overall. If you love pizza like me and know good Italian pizza like Santarpios of East Boston or Regina's in the North End, you will not like this pizza. A disgusting waste of $50! We went in tonight for the first time and it will be the last. Somehow an app and 1 pizza with an 18% tip came to $48.91. I would mind that if it was good but it absolutely was not. The chicken tenders were absolutely flavorless and had a strange orange hue to the batter. It was a huge portion but not necessary for an app. We ordered The Rita and it was crushed tomatoes on a bland crust. The 'fresh mozzarella' was incredibly thin and uniform which points to it not being fresh at all. It was difficult to bite through and the pieces came off entirely. We each had 1 tender and 1 slice. It felt uncomfortable to leave so we took the rest home and promptly dumped it in the trash toter. Additionally, I did not appreciate not being able to pay with a card or having a different 'cash price' on the check. This "pizza joint" is unlike any other you will find in all of New England. Something this good and unique will always cause controversy because we live in a world where negativity is much louder than positivity and people love to hate on what others rave about just to make themselves feel better. Had a nice experience here yesterday with my young daughter. Calzone with bacon, sausage, spinach, red sauce, and a meatball sub. Both were extremely delicious. The nonalcoholic drink selections were a bit limited. They did not have unsweetened ice tea or lemonade. I would describe the place as a hip bar with excellent food. My seven year old daughter and I enjoyed the Bob Ross TV channel on in the background. Staff and patrons were very friendly. We'll be back. Our first time there. I really like this place . Wife had their steak tips . I had "The Butcher " pizza . Even though her tips were ordered medium they were mostly well done . However they were flavorful , moist and tender. My pizza was outstanding! If you like a meat pizza I highly recommend getting it ! We dined inside and the ambiance is super chill and welcoming...definitely not your typical pizza joint vibes. We had the pepperoni and the fig/prosciutto pizzas and I fell in love. The crust really can make or break a pizza, and this is some seriously good, not too thick or thin, crispy crust. I ordered the medium party deal for a Birthday celebration. It came with 6 large pizzas, a family sized salad, 25 chicken tenders with 4 different sauces. My order with tax was $224. This fed about 14 -16 of us and had a little left over. Everything was fresh and ready on time. I got a text message when it was ready. I also ordered it online a few days in advance to give them enough time. I like how you can customize the party deals. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was clean and trendy. Everyone at the party enjoyed the food, not one person wasn't happy with the order. I took a few pictures of the food. I think the stand out was the fig pizza, and the pepperoni curl. I will readily admit to being a pizza snob, having worked in lower Manhattan for many years, I was spoiled on some of the best pizza anywhere. But these guys are right there.. they have by far the best pizza I have found in NH, bar none. Their menu is great overall and it seems like they really care about the quality of their food. Everything tastes fresh to me. I have sampled mozz sticks, wings, chicken, meatball and steak subs, chicken tenders (awesome) and several pizzas. I love the ambiance of the place as well. It has a really laid back vibe which is nice. The seating is a bit limited and it can get crowded, so you have to allow for that if you plan on dining in. Nice bar though where you can hang out and watch Bob Ross do his thing - who doesn't like Bob Ross? The servers are super nice and the owner seems like a good guy.
