Unassuming tap room in an unassuming strip mall. Have to be honest, the outside didn't draw me in. But the reviews did. And I'm glad they did. What we got: Margarita pizza (large) Greek salad Daylight Golden Ale Battle Axe IPA Pizza was great! Terrific crust and very saucy. Appreciated all the basil on the margarita. Greek salad was also pretty good. Only downside is everything is served with disposable forks. Salad came in a plastic clamshell even though we ate in. Beers were great and for $7 they felt like a deal! Will definitely be back when in the area. Especially for the daily lunch special! 2 slices and a beer for $12. read more

Solid choice for great pizza in Londonderry. Gluten-free pizza was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients and desirable toppings. Typically my phone eats first but once we opened the boxes, the crew devoured all three pies. read more

We came in around 11:40 a.m. on a Sunday. There was only one worker running both the bar and dining area, with roughly eight other people in the restaurant. We were told to sit anywhere and that he'd be with us shortly. After sitting for about 10 minutes with no menus, we pulled up the menu online so we could be ready to order. Another 15 minutes passed with no acknowledgment. During that time, the server was mostly chatting with people at the bar and helping another couple in the dining area. We eventually got up to ask if we could order, and he told us he'd be right over, but after another 10 minutes, nothing changed. At that point, we got up and left. This was honestly really disappointing, especially because we love the food here. The lack of attention and long wait without even basic service made for a frustrating experience. read more

Had lunch at Kelsen Brewery yesterday with a few friends. I live nearby and go to Kelsen frequently. My sister was visiting and was intrigued by the Cultivated Burger Pizza. This pizza is very unusual but very delicious! It has a garlic sauce base with hamburger, pickles, chips and ranch dressing. The crust is perfect. So good! We also got a Jumbo Pretzel that comes with cinnamon butter and pub mustard. You can add pub cheese for $3. The pretzel came out warm and is one of the best pretzels I've ever had. I had a Paradigm Brown Ale-my favorite Kelsen brew. And, for $14 was able to take the nice mug home, too! Our server was very friendly, helpful & attentive. The tap room is very nice with plenty of bar seating. There are high & low tables that seat 2-4 people. It wasn't too busy, so we were able to put 2 tables together to accommodate our party of six. Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. Recommended. read more

Kelsen Brewing - Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza & Beer - Breweries Near Me - Londonderry, New Hampshire

Pizza is great and beer always fresh tasting. Small cozy place that gets crowded quick. Service is friendly. Food is always good!

Ok, so we came here a few years ago and loved it. This time, we came back to find it had moved to an even nicer location. The bar is huge and really nice. The beer is all awesome. I loved the dark lager. Usually, brew pubs do one or the other well, but dang, the food is on point! The pizza is just perfect. Love the crust. The service was also super nice. Definitely a stop we keep on the radar any time we are in the area! read more

This posting is for the new Londonderry location of Kelsen Brewing Company. Kelsen Brewing moved to Londonderry from Derry recently due to their old building being slated for demolition due to the construction of the I-93 Exit 4A connector road. Located in the former Talia's space at Londonderry Commons, this brewpub is cozy with seating up at the U-shaped bar with around 20 beers on tap mostly their own brews and others too. There is sectioned table seating surrounding the bar area and yhere are 6 flats screen TVs on the walls. However, there is currently no outside seating like at the old Derry location. The food menu offers a few appetizers, salads and specialty pizzas (10" and 16"). I've heard mostly great things about their pizzas so I decided to pop in at Kelsen Brewing in Londonderry for pizza takeout. I ordered a 16" Large Cultivate Burger Pizza ($20 plus tax) at the bar to go. The pizza was ready to go in 15 minutes. This pizza had a white garlic sauce base, marinated hamburger pieces, pickles, crushed onion potato chips, and a ranch drizzle on top of a crisp thin pizza crust which had a soft moist texture. The pizza was hot and very salty to eat, a great pizza to go with a cold beer on a Friday night, lol. I would definitely stop in again for a cold beer and food. read more

Great place. The beer is cold and flavorful. Love Battle Axe. The pizza is the best in New Hampshire. Try the pepperoni or the stranded Hawaiian. read more

The food and staff are great! Excellent gluten free pizza and very careful about allergies!

Great service. Came Sunday for dinner. Staff were very engaged. Food mostly scratched made. Pork ribs DELISH! Battle ax great greasy burger. Who doesn't love a greasy burger:) they have wine for those who don't drink beer (like me). Def going back to try the wings! read more

I don't drink beer. I go there for the pizza! Meat lovers with jalapeños is me go to.

First and last time eating here. Paper plates, plastic utensils and salad served in a take out plastic container. My sons chicken fingers were pink/cool/raw in the center. The waitress constantly came back to the table to "confirm" what we ordered. My wife ordered a small cheese pizza with buffalo chicken topping and they made a buffalo chicken pizza (all buffalo sauce in place of red sauce). No printed check to review just the waitress holding a credit card machine calling out the bill total. $50 waste of money. read more

We came here at noon on a Monday and were initially taken aback because it was so quiet inside and one employee out front. Service was great and drinks and food came quickly. My husband enjoyed his beer. As a native New Yorker, I can say the pizza was really good and not greasy and flimsy. Cooked well on the bottom and not too much of anything. Really yummy! Loved their two slice with a drink special. Would definitely go back again! read more

My husband and I were really looking forward to checking out this brewery sat at the bar service was good handed us the beer selection, no pricing, after the third Ozzy Osbourne song I wanted to leave, ordered a pizza it was OK saucy and burnt on the bottom. Disappointed read more

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEIR GLUTEN FREE PIZZA! I was so excited to see they offer a GF crust! I got the Cultivate Burger pizza and it was UNREAL. I'm still thinking about how good this pizza was! The staff behind the scenes put a lot of love and effort into this and it shows. My only wish is that they would update the inside seating area to make it more cozy atmosphere. read more

Delicious beer, cozy atmosphere and really fantastic pizza! You can't go wrong if you're looking for a range of high quality craft beers from sours to IPAs and Stouts. The men behind the bar were warm and knowledgeable. We got a high top by the window. Enjoyed a large pizza with white garlic sauce, hamburger, chopped dill pickles and crushed potato chips! Totally unique with a perfect light and crispy crust! Can't wait till our next trip! read more

The interior pictures on yelp should be updated. A big wooden bar top, very nice! The roni pizza was good and the beer selection was sizable. Nice to see the bartender didn't treat customers like they were an imposition. Helpful, welcoming and attentive. Yeah, I'll be back! read more

So let's start with the pizza. Yes you heard me right. They have 'this guy' who makes pizza in a super small kitchen area. That's all they make. Pizza and more pizza. Thin crust hand tossed pizza The crust and sauce is amazing. Now onto the beers. Check out their awards They done a great job especially with their signatures Battle Ace IPA, Draken Porter and their Brown. Should be 5 but the atmosphere is totally industrial strip mall and plastic cups. read more

Depending on the style of beer you like, this is the very best local microbrewery for dark beers (Brown Ale, Dark Lager, and Robust Porter) and some sours. They usually have just one IPA (flagship Battle Axe) on tap but it is fabulous. Sometimes they have other IPAs, Blood Orange for instance, excellent too. Most on tap and Growlers and cans to go as well. And to be sure, they have the BEST Pizza anywhere around, the best I've personally ever had! Cheers! read more

Kelsen Brewing - two cups of beer on a picnic table - Breweries Near Me - Londonderry, New Hampshire

Pizza was really good. Beer was solid. Atmosphere was sterile. Bar staff was wooden. I'd go back for the pizza, or do take out. More likely order a pizza for take out and drink a beer while I wait for it. read more

Great selection of pizza although we didn't have time for pizza. We came for the beer. They have a good selection with some flavors that are tasty and some that we weren't very fond of. The Ethereal Sour was spot on and so delicious, the Seascape with its Peruvian Coffee notes went down the sink. My bad, I should have used my own better judgment and realized that I wouldn't like grapefruit coffee with a hint of sea salt. We are still working through the variety pack we bought and I will update with any earth shattering news. Otherwise, a solid 3. Worth a second try for the pizza. read more

Kelsen Brewing - a drawing of a group of people - Breweries Near Me - Londonderry, New Hampshire

Stopped here with my dad this past Sunday. They had 10-15 picnic tables out front, and a few tables inside. A pretty good selection of craft beer. We both had 2 pints of the Spacetown light lager. If you don't like the heavy beers, this one is for you. We ordered a large Xtra cheese pizza as well. It was the best pizza I've had in a long time. The crust had a nice crunch to it, and the cheese was fantastic. I highly recommend Kelsen Brewery. read more

The new place looks great. I drove all the way from Massachusetts to come check it out and walked past 3 "Open Now" signs on my way in. The bar and dining room looked beautiful. We walked in at 7:32 tonight and were told that we missed last call. I talked about that pickle cheeseburger pizza ALL DAY. Drove over an hour out of our way for it. Disappointed is an understatement. We won't be driving out of our way ever again. read more

Hidden gem in Derry, NH. Good selection of different style beers for all beer lovers. Some food selection in case you want to munch on something while drinking. Beer flights are à la carte up to six on a board. If you are there with good weather, the outside seating is relaxing. read more

Good selection of tasty beers on tap. Pizzas are solid, definitely above average for NH, with some creative topping combos. The cultivate burger pizza with the potato chips is a winner. The taproom itself is serviceable. Not especially nice or interesting, and many local breweries do have very nice taprooms, but the space is good enough. During our last visit, the young woman working the counter was very good. read more

Had fun sitting outside here for almost 3 hours the other night in their comfy chairs. Outdoors is dog friendly too but not inside. Indoors they also have a bar, and tons of seating too. My two fave beers were the Belgian and the fruity sour, can't remember the name. We also got their pulled pork nachos and wow they were some of the best I've had! read more

I use the app Tapped. I have never given a beer 5/5 until Friday night. I loved several of the beers, but their Kolsch was so clean. I've been a fan of Kelsen for a few years now and it was always a must stop with friends and family when we were visiting the area from NJ. Great beer. Awesome pizza and pretzels using a simple electric oven setup. I know they had to move but the new location has lost its indy charm for me. Feels more like an Applebee's vibe than an out of the way discovery it once was for me. I'll be back but will miss the old location. read more

Good food and better beer. A lot of brewery options in the area and they hold their own

Pizza smells better than it is.....maybe I'm just stuck, but sauce didn't have enough garlic & cheese was not salty enough....tried it twice same results. Nice folks, great beer selection.....sure I'd snarf down another pizza with a beer but most foods are great because of where they hit your palette its science not magic in cooking.....taste your own food Kelsen and adjust as needed. read more
