Highly recommend this little spot. They've got a small selection of beers on tap and some good food items as well. I also believe they have cocktails in a can, too, in case someone is coming with you that doesn't like beer. The inside is small and cozy, filled with high top tables and cool art, and tons of plants to gaze at. Bartenders are cool and helpful with suggestions. I've been a few times without eating but recently tried a smash burger from a recommendation. It was very good, the fries even better! It's always nice when a small brewing company serves filling food. The burger was smashed thin with two patties. It had ketchup/mustard/lettuce/onion/pickle. The fries were the semi crispy kind, love those! I would come back just for the burger and fries. The beers are always good and on rotation, no complaint there. Come when the weather is nice! It's small inside but they also have a small patio in the back. They often have live music back there on weekends too. Can't wait till it gets warm again to enjoy that. read more

Small, comfy brewery with a handful of beers to try, some more available in cans to go, nice bathrooms and seating areas, and some delicious grub to go with. (Try the Rueben hot dog. Delicious, good snap to it, fresh bun - I would definitely get it again, and later regretted not trying another one of their hot dog concoctions). Sure, it's not the type of brewery that I'd travel long distances to visit, but it's definitely the type I'd visit if I was local or already in the area/passing through. My husband and I have always had a great experience here! My husband decided to reach out regarding booking the restaurant for my 60th birthday party. They were able to accommodate and we had the best time! Everyone, and I mean everyone who attended stated "food is fantastic, everything is so good!", as well as, making comments on how awesome the staff was! I am guessing there are not typically kids under 10 in the brewery and these young men handled the chaos quite well. I would recommend this restaurant 100% read more

Stopped in for a beer with my sista on NYE. Taproom is small, but has character. There are supplies available for purchase for home brewing. We had a couple of beers. I had a pint of Tree Streets which was nice & juicy. Jane had a mug of Honey, I Shrunk Your Ego which she said was just sweet enough. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Enjoyed listening to music which was being played on a turntable. I'm glad we stopped in and would not hesitate to return. read more

My husband and I had lunch here with our 2 small kids on a Friday afternoon. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. The dining area isn't huge, with about 5 tables and a bar. You go up to the bar to order. The bartender was very friendly. I had a doof and my husband had a motivational sneaker. Both were very good. We shared a pretzel. I had the dang dilla with pork and my husband had the pork bahn mi. I would recommend all three. There is a good amount of canned beer available to go. We got some cone zone and neighbors, night terrors and nitrogen bombs and enjoyed both. I would not hesitate to return. read more

Omg amazing selection of beers! I'm picky and I loved alllll except the nitro, it was too strong of a flavor for me. My faves were the Motivational Sneaker and the pilsner. The best part about this place is there are tons of seating, board games etc. and the staff was super friendly and will tell you everything you want to know. Its got a cozy, friendly vibe where you feel like you're chilling at a friends house. They will soon be offering food too once they get approval from the city. They could use a better sign outside, we drove right past it. Also if you have Connect Four, they're looking to trade beer for your game! read more

This is a nice brewery in Manchester, NH. They have great beer options, the Squoke Oatmeal Stout is my favorite. But their food menu is quite surprising, in a good way. They offer a ton of vegan options, and they are excellent! They offer a fantastic Mexican-style crunch wrap, called the envelope. Other great vegan options I have tried are a couple of the hot dogs, a chick'n sub, and a veggie burger special. It's a nice place to hang out as well, with very friendly staff. read more

I love nachos. Get them all the time, everywhere. The heaping plate of nachos at Candia Road Brewing may be the best I ever had. Good spread of cheese, chili and pork. The right amount of jalapenos. That's all it took to make me happy. The spruce goose beer was good too. Interesting side note that it is brewed with locally sourced spruce tips. They also have cans for sale to go. Order at the counter, wait for your beer, and sit inside or take it out back to the picnic tables. They bring the food to your table. read more

Selection of brews and food is perfect. Not too many and not too little. The food is pub food turned up a few notches! Excellent! You can really see that they take pride in their food and beer. The beer selection was great, I found 2 that I really enjoyed. I like sour's, so I can't really speak personally for any of the other beer, however everyone else that got beer enjoyed them very much. Definitely worth a stop if you're planning a brewery trip. read more

Super convenient hole in the wall just off of route 93. Perfect for a quick cheap bite and cold one on your way north to ski country. Ordered the pretzel, couple of well dressed dogs and a beer. Pretzel was homemade served warm with great Bavarian mustard. Dogs were quality (little small in size), house made toppings were generous, all loaded on a fresh buttery grilled brioche bun. Stopped by for a couple of drinks, and ended up staying for the tacos. Food was great, perfect spot. Great selection on beer and perfect menu for snacking. Highly recommended. Great beer. Every draft is fantastic. Love the sour and the banana. Favorite would be the stout. Service is lacking. If you're not a regular, or a local, you're kinda left fending for yourself. When waiting in a line any normal bar etiquette goes out the window. If you're trying to order a drink, get ready to wait unless you know someone. Numerous "locals" get served before you, regardless. Food was extremely weak with prices not justified. Microwaved sausages and luke warm pretzels. The Chef loves EuroTrash music and that's all you will hear when the kitchen is open, even when live musicians are performing. Again, great LIVE music, great beer. I started out trying to make beer and went to the Candia road store they were under construction And open for business. he was unbelievably helpful with finding stuff for me to get going underneath construction work in all kinds of stuff going on .I could not believe the Service and information in the materials to get going on my beer making venture .I go back there many a time and the service is unbelievable and the knowledge is unbelievable. He was telling me that he setting up a brewpub where's he will be serving food and I can't wait to go and Try it out. I've been back and watch the progress of the construction. This is a review of the beer only. Picked up a bottle of Hop-Ful IPA from the Nepenthe Ale Series and it was pretty tasty. Not as up front as I would hope for an IPA names Hop-Ful, but it was still pretty good. The beer is described as having a strong malt backbone, however. I am looking forward to checking out some of the other in the series as well. read more

We stopped in because we needed the Candia Road Brewing & Nepenthe Ale House spot marked off on our NH beer passport. We walked in and it looks like a normal brew supply store, but they now have beer on tap to offer (free) samples. The guy who served us (and now I feel like a dingus for not getting his name) was very knowledgeable and we talked back and forth about the craziness of NH laws especially related to beer. He explained the meaning behind Nepenthe and the reasoning behind the two names for one location, and I'll be sure to buy their bottles when I see them across the state! Good beer, great conversation/service, surprising location/facility but definitely a great stop to get some samples or buy your home brew supply needs. read more

Established in 2011.

In 2011 Candia Road Brewing opened its doors as a production facility and home brew supply shop. After several years of business, the decision was made to upgrade. Today CRBC is outfitted with a taproom, production facility, and a full kitchen. The hard decision to close the homebrew shop inevitably happened as taproom business took off and required use of the retail space for more seating. Patrons can now enjoy our craft beer on site and enjoy a good meal with a rotating kitchen menu. Patio seating and lots of local live music in the warmer months.

My absolute favorite brew from them is the Tragically Hopped double IPA (available seasonally in mid-summer) Black Bear stout (often available in the winter) and their self-named Great North IPA, which is a delicious West Coast-styled IPA that's just as good drinking on its own as it is with a sandwich (or burger and fries if you see it on tap at a local pub).

The place has been there since 2019 and it kinda shows. A bit rundown and in need of a serious update. The food was good but nothing remarkable. Everything is cooked/baked to order which can add a little time to the service but thats fine with me. The one thing that was on point was the good sized craft beer selection, both on tap and otherwise. Not a busy place to say the least and has definite unusual vibe to it but the service was great and the people that were there were certainly friendly. Did I mind going? Not at all but would I plan on going back? Thats up in the air.

Service was great and super quick. I was disappointed that a lot of their beers had run out - I'm not sure if there's a better way to handle their beer menu but maybe a printed menu isn't the right choice since it seems they run through them pretty quick. Regardless, I found a couple I wanted to try and was able to create a flight with them. I loved that they have so many local beers to try from. We also indulged in their free open mic comedy upstairs, which was hilarious. It seems like they always have something going on to keep people entertained. Great experience, if we lived close, this would probably be a regular spot for us.

We're not usually chain restaurant people, but we were happy to know it was a local chain. There were TV's everywhere which was perfect for our group. Service was great all night, our server checked on us a lot and made sure we were happy. She was also a sour drinker which was perfect for me because there were so many great ones to choose from, she built out the perfect flight for me. The food was great and tasted fresh, and the portions were huge. Overall, a great experience. It would definitely be our sports bar of choice if we lived locally.
