A family owned and operated winery that specializes in fruit wines. Such a simple description…read moredoesn't do justice to the wonderful flavors that come out of their bottles. Bought two cases for my wedding and people were begging to take bottles home with them. It's been months and I still get people asking where to get more wine! They have tastings on Sundays, or you can call and schedule one. The best. Simply, the best.

Coffin Cellars is an amazing place. As well as a novel venue for non-traditional wines. Coffin…read moreproduces organic berry and fruit wines. And the latest offer is a Jalapeño wine suitable for a mean morning Bloody Mary. The drive is reminiscing of a Currier & Ives and, As a matter of fact, the highway into town (Rte 127) is also called Currier & Ives highway. Grandiose, pre-Revolutionary War homes, meticulously kept, line the highway. Once on the property, we went into the building that houses the wine making apparatus, part of which is now the tasting room. We tried seven different offerings including Elderberry, Blackberry, plum and the Jalapeño. Today, 30 October, will be the opening of their new tasting room, a pre-Civil War building that served as a manufacturing area for Union troop boots during the Civil War. The outside is still historically accurate but the inside is completely rebuilt in a post and beam motif. The place also has its own mascot, a beautiful half Cairns and half Jack Russell dog that is the friendliest dog ever.

We had the most wonderful Easter Brunch at Gilmanton Winery and Restaurant! Everything from start…read moreto finish was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor and the menu offered a great variety that made it hard to choose just one thing. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for in a New Hampshire winery quaint, cozy, and incredibly inviting. It felt both special and relaxed, making it the perfect setting for a holiday brunch. The staff was welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall experience without ever feeling rushed. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. We'll definitely be back highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming spot with amazing food and a warm, welcoming vibe!

We were driving up to Laconia when I saw a random sign for this place…read more We arrived for brunch on Sunday around noon and the kitchen was backed up due to some larger parties so we waited for a little at the bar. The bartender and owner, Rick, told us their story and how they had actually just begun doing food and brunch-- what a coincidence we had just seen the sign during our drive! The drinks were great and the conversation even better. We were seated 15ish minutes later on the porch. The wait staff were so pleasant, and the menu is reasonably priced and diverse enough that it doesn't just feel like normal breakfast food. I had the sausage gravy on the biscuit and it was phenomenal. My boyfriend enjoyed the ricotta eggs and a side of bacon that was wonderfully sweet and smokey. We were so excited to have stumbled into this place due to a random little state sign, and our only complaint is that it isn't closer to where we live! TLDR: a must visit if you're anywhere in the area!
