If you're in or around Manchester and looking for great pizza, don't sleep on Pizza by Rocco. It's a little off the beaten path, but it's an absolute gem whether you're grabbing takeout or stopping in for a solid slice. I tried the chicken broccoli pizza and it was honestly unbelievable. Chicken and broccoli is usually a heavier style pizza, but somehow they kept it thin and crispy. I don't know how they pulled that off, but the crust still had a perfect crunch while holding all the toppings without getting soggy. Everything tasted fresh and the balance of flavors was spot on. Places like Sally's Apizza and Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana get a lot of the spotlight, but if Pizza by Rocco had a prime time location and more exposure, I honestly think they'd be competing in the same conversation. Manchester is lucky to have a spot like this. Definitely worth checking out. Seems like the guys that run the place are really solid people as well, will definitely be back. read more

The wife stated she prefers Regina's out of the north end of Boston and I agreed. The Greek salad was very good but the dressing comes in a very small container. We should've asked for at least one more for the size of the salad. The prices on the wall menu are $1-$2 dollars more so keep that in mind. Minimal street parking. Our pizza was $22. I chose this place due to positive reviews but mainly because they had the option to bring the food to your car, which I chose due to location with no parking, traffic, dark, snowbanks, narrow road , etc. Unheard of! And it's custom for me to tip however, I called in October for a delivery where at the end of my call, a Manager popped on to tell me there's a mandatory $3 delivery fee for the driver and I must provide a separate mandatory "tip" for the same driver for any food to arrive to my doorstep. I hold John's of Time Square in NYC as the greatest thin crust pizza in the US. Rocco's holds a candle almost right next to it. The homemade pizza sauce is the base of this amazing pie. Throw in the freshly shredded mozzarella and homemade dough and you have yourself a pie that screams of flavor. It's cooked perfectly with generous amounts of bubbles, the perfect flop and the final bite of an absolutely crunchy crust. Trust me if you like thin crust you will love this place. The pizza was excellent which as we know is sometimes challenging around here. This is not Greek pizza it's ny style pizza. I was really disappointed in the crust. The pictures made it look great! It was very bland and tough. I ordered a cheese pizza with caramelized onions and mushrooms.
