This restaurant is higher-end because they serve farm-to-table food, everything is fresh and menus change depending on what's in season. I wasn't disappointed, it's pricey but food and freshness are worth it! Cheeseboard came with Bell & Goose Camembert, Smoked Gouda, and Alehouse Cheddar cheese, Hot sorpressata and Salami meat. Rockefeller oysters were small but good, obviously not as good as Maryland Oysters! I also had a Cremè Brûlée to go and it was absolutely delicious! Great chill atmosphere and customer service. I definitely saved this restaurant as one of my favorites.

Posh restaurant on the waterfront in downtown Manchester. Friendly staff. Drinks were delish and food is exceptional. I had the salmon and was not disappointed.

I've been meaning to try this place for ages now. Ever since we moved here, we've either read or heard about how amazing the brunch is. It appears....the rumors were mostly true. Mostly. Right off the bat, you're greeted with a rather industrial looking decor and the layout is very rectangular. We sat at the lounge tables, since that's apparently all they had available at the time. Still, it was fine...though the seats took some getting used to. Okay. I'm sure we all know how this works. You go to a buffet, you try a little bit of everything (or close enough to it, anyway). So, I'll briefly try and describe what I liked and didn't like. The scrambled eggs were okay, but obviously required seasoning since this is a buffet for many, many people. They work best when they're first put out and fresh. If they've been sitting for a while, they start to form this dry outer layer of skin and....I think you get the picture. 7 out of 10, get 'em while they're hot! The bacon was like...an 8. Won't say much more about that. The home fries were great, but a bit on the ginormous size. Look, Foundry, I appreciate your enthusiasm. But I'm not a pelican. Most humans can only unhinge their jaws so far. 8 out of 10, a knife is your friend. The fried chicken was juicy and tender on the inside. But the batter was a hard pass for me. Not only was it slightly burnt, but also had a semi-spicy flavor to it I didn't particularly care for. 6 out of 10. The mac n' cheese was confusing. See, you got this incredibly creamy situation going on, and that's great! But then....you realize it's totally devoid of all seasoning and flavor, which is NOT great. Whole thing ends up tasting like Elmer's glue. 3 out of 10, what am I supposed to do with this? The omelet station was quite the delectation. I'll be honest--it takes a while to get your orders. But I can tell the lady was efficient in her craft. These omelets come out perfectly cooked and not burnt at all. Other than a bit of seasoning, these things are actually quite impressive. 9 out of 10, perhaps I'll get ham next time. Here's the thing though. The menu items always change, I'm told; not to mention, their mimosas are pretty kick-ass. You get a choice of small or large, which I'll assume means 6 or 9 ounces, respectively. The only other anomaly about this place is the layout when you first walk in. It may have been the way the server directed us to the buffet room, but I swear she pointed toward the back of the restaurant when she really meant the side. So yeah, the buffet will be to your right when you first walk in about 20 feet. And the bar is on the left for reference. We will definitely return for another brunch adventure. For now though, I will give The Foundry Restaurant 4 savory omelets glistening in all their buttery glory out of 5. Oh, and thank you for reading my 500th review! ^_~

came here with two friends to get dinner and drinks and catch up. great upscale place with a waterfront view. the pear drink and espresso martini were reportedly fantastic, as were the mushroom poke and tortellini. the warmed bread served before the meal was good as well, though i prefer when they slice it to some extent - i'm not a big bread ripper. i got the grilled peach salad and i enjoyed it, though i wish the dressing had more of an acidic or salty flavor - fell flat compared to the other components of the salad. service was quick and kind as well.

The restaurant was near my hotel and I hosted about 12 people from work at the Foundry, which has a hip vibe to it. The restaurant was busy but the server gave us timely and high v quality service. We ordered a bottle of wine, all wines were priced below what I normally see at a restaurant, and they also have a great selection. We ordered several apps and all were delicious. For the main I had scallops with pesto risotto, which it seems half of our table ordered. The meal was delicious and I would order again. They have a generous rewards program which I wish I had joined. All in all I highly recommend The Foundry.

We have been to the bar area plenty of times but never taken the whole family to brunch here. I'm glad we did! We showed up at 9:15 and were seated immediately without a reservation. It's a buffet, $30 for each adult and $15 for each kid. For the quality of food and service, this price was so awesome! Seriously. Everything was delicious. Full omelette station, roast beef carving station, shrimp and oysters, full hot buffet with everything you could imagine, pastry table AND fresh fruit and dessert table. The kids loved the sweets and I loved the variety! I wish I had taken more pictures of the ambience. Live classical guitar player in the bar area, beautiful lighting and temperature. And our server was lovely! Really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back for brunch!

These were served with a pea and bacon risotto whose rich flavors matched the meatballs perfectly and the accompanying crisped breads balanced texture for the perfect combo. The pork belly tostadas had a great combination of toppings that gave them a fresh feel and almost made pork belly feel healthy, and the popover short rib dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. This one wasn't my dish, but I managed to snag a nibble and may be ordering it next time if they decide to add it to the regular menu. So good! The dishes were a nice size, leaving room for desert, and the fresh fruit meringue was an excellent finale. The restaurant itself is small, with a bar and just a handful of indoor tables. They had 4 more tables outside, however, which would be great on slightly cooler days. The indoor window seat we got was comfortable and the whole place had a cozy, friendly feel. Service was top notch, from a greeting as we entered to constant attention - we never really noticed our slightly small (bar style) table as all the dishes were cleared so quickly. I loved this place and will probably have to keep returning until I've tried the whole menu. I'm definitely hoping to try the outdoor tables next if weather permits.

They brought out chips and salsa right off and the salsa was flavorful and even had a little bite. The chips were warm and crisp. They had so many things i wanted to try but i ordered the Hawaiian fajitas and hubs had the Diego burrito. When I saw the food I wished we had brought a cooler and that I hadn't eaten so many of those chips! The fajitas were served in a pineapple and had steak and chicken and chorizo. I asked for no shrimp. The flavors were so good! I loved the mango salsa and could eat that right out of the container! The rice and beans were yummy too! I had barely started on the inside of the pineapple and I was stuffed! Somehow hubs managed to eat his entire burrito. Next time definitely will bring a cooler and take home what I cant finish. I also ordered a virgin pineapple coconut margarita. It was probably the only thing I didn't love but it was very good. I think I just prefer it with the alcohol. Looking at the desserts I was wishing I had some space but I literally could not eat another bite. Highly recommend u try it out!

Our server was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and informed about the menu answering our questions about drinks and food. We each got a cocktail: my friend really enjoyed her "the strawberry one." I tried it and it was yummy, my other friend got "politics & government" it was a unique smoky flavor, I ordered my standard Tito's martini and it was beautifully put together but admittedly for the price point of the cocktails the glasses were small. We decided to try the small plates and started with the 3: Rangoon, pierogi, and meatballs. The rice cakes were the star of the meatball plate. The pierogis were good not great. The rangoons had a nice crisp and flavor probably my favorite of the three plates. We were still hungry so we split the smash burger and fries and in retrospect due to the prices and quantities of the small plates and how good the burger was I would probably just get that in the future. We also tried the carrots and they were underwhelming, I had high hopes for their flavor and they were good not great. I'd come back again and I'm glad we finally made it here. I had thought about getting "the s'more one" an espresso dessert martini but I was full- maybe next time.
