Had an awesome time at Ignite before going to a show at The Palace Theatre which is literally right next door-how convenient! We were seated at a cozy little table by the window and enjoyed some people watching. We all ordered delicious cocktails to sip on while we decided on what to get for dinner. Jennie had a Long Island Iced Tea which was very boozy. Deb got the Spicy Mango Margarita-which she really liked! I chose the Cadillac Margharita which I will definitely order again. Dinner was great! I had the Seafood Mixed Grille-shrimp, scallops, and salmon served with rice pilaf and grilled asparagus. I'm not embarrassed to report that I ate the whole thing! Deb got the All American Burger with mushrooms & sweet potato fries. The burger was large-she brought half home. Jennie started with Clam Chowder and then had British Fish and Chips- she said it was very good. We had excellent service from Angeliza who didn't mind answering our many questions. I highly recommend making reservations, particularly on show night. I will not hesitate returning to Ignite to enjoy another meal at this lovely restaurant. read more

By far the best mussel stew I've had. The oysters were fresh which was my best friend's first time trying it and she loved it! We were there around 630pm and didn't need to wait for tables. Food came in fast and staff were nice. read more

The service is always prompt, professional & friendly. All of the staff are great and we luv it when Madison is behind the bar, two big thumbs up. You can't go wrong with their menu, everything is delicious.... we especially luv the Haddock Piccata & Bayou Wings. They make awesome martinis and meet new people almost every time we go. Went for drinks and dinner after work with a coworker who recommended Ignite.It was a HOT day but we decided to sit outside because we had been in AC all day. Started with some drinks, which were a little sweet for my taste but still good. Apps we had were mussels and lobster crab cakes. Both were awesome! The broth on the mussels was perfectly spicy and so flavorful I couldn't stop eating it. 100% recommend that app. Crab cakes were great too but certainly overshadowed by the mussels. I had the Aegean salad and added salmon to that. I appreciated that the dressing came on the side without me asking. It was a nice, fresh meal for a hot evening. We don't understand how a Reuben can be so greasy and tasteless. The fish and chips were a bit more greasy, and the fish was not crispy. The coleslaw was more of chopped cabbage in a cup - slight flavor of maybe mayonnaise. The service was on point. The drinks were pretty good. We were seated in Hooked, but we understood as the Ignite/Hooked set up is a bit odd. We were happy that it was not too loud in either place. Just disappointed with the food. read more

This was our second visit to Ignite this year, and it was AMAZING! My girlfriend has the fish and chips, and I had blackened chicken tacos. Her fish was tender and delicious, the fries perfectly cooked . My tacos were loaded with perfectly seasoned chicken (many restaurants go very lightly with the chicken). The restaurant was very busy, so we sat at the bar. Our server/bartender (I believe her name was Madison) was friendly and prompt to help with anything we needed. Sorry to see that it's becoming more uneven. Still rates a 4/5 but that's because I'm averaging over the, admittedly few, misses. We've been going there a lot and so at this point have a pretty solid understanding of what to expect. The latest dinner was the biggest disappointment yet. We ordered oysters on the half shell and they weren't as chilled as usual (and desired) but worse was that most of them were quite sandy. I had to rinse them off with my water. But, things happen and although we've had sandy batch in the past, the others over our dining-in experiences have been fine. However, the meal wasn't done yet. We ordered two entrees and my wife and I clearly recall my specifying very clearly and precisely what I wished. And yet, when the meals came, hers was fine and mine was 100% not what had been ordered. Compounding the error was the server said "Oh, you said X" and then explained how there were two choices that were similar in wording. I merely said that that didn't match my recollection - that I was pretty confident I'd ordered correctly and as I mentioned, my wife recalled it clearly. There's an issue when a server says, essentially "You ordered the wrong item. It's your mistake." First off, it's a no-win. The customer says no I didn't, the server says yes you did and the dinner becomes an unpleasant affair. What should she have said was "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you said X." That covers the situation in a non-confrontational way. Miscommunication. And then the meal carries on normally. It's things like this that make me want to start a video recording when ordering, just so we can "check the facts". After she went away to get the correct dish we had two people and one entree. So my wife ate and I shared a bit. And after she had finished completely, mine arrives. If I were to rate just this one experience it would be a 2 or a 3. But since I've had quite a few good experiences I'll just drop the overall down a point. And also watch to see if this was a blip or a sign of unhappy times. read more

Ignite Bar and Grille because they're connected to Hooked Seafood right next door and the door between the restaurants is open and you can walk from one into the other. They have amazing with a delicious remoulade, great fish and chips. Everything there is pretty much fantastic and the lady who runs it is just the nicest person. When my friend who has a shrimp allergy asked about the crab cakes they knew whether or not shrimp had been used in that particular crab cake batch from that day which means that they're really good with food allergies as well! We live on Hanover St and always choose Ignite to grab a drink and a quick bite after a long day. The staff is incredible, always remembering us and saying hi when we walk in, and Ann is always at the door welcoming everyone in. The food menu is a staple but the specials are top tier. Definitely the freshest seafood around. If you have room after dinner you have to try the desserts, they are made fresh every morning! We take them to-go so we can have some treats at home. I absolutely had to find a seafood restaurant living in Arizona obviously we do not have access to good seafood. Hooked came very much recommended but we saw that there connected to ignite I ordered the muscles and my dad got the bacon wrapped scallops now he said his was good I wasn't able to steal a bite but the muscles oh my goodness were they delicious. For dinner we had I forgot what they called it but it was basically salmon scallops and shrimp on top of rice with asparagus which was as well just as good. My only complaint is I wish the seasoning was on both sides of the scallop and the shrimp because it was really good seasoning. Was very excited to find this place and would definitely recommend it again but I will say if you have kids they do not have a kids menu but they can do like chicken tenders or maybe mac & cheese. read more

Oysters were so tasty. We sat outside for three hours in July and truly enjoyed ourselves; our server was very attentive. Ignite is a busy eatery with a sister eatery one door down on a corner- foot and vehicle traffic is heavy if you like to people watch. The mussels appetizer never disappoints as the broth is full of body and entirely drinkable! We split a special- I think it was a filet topped with jumbo shrimp. This is hands down the best food I've had in New Hampshire. The flavor and quality of the food was 10/10. Even the bread on the side was phenomenal. We got the muscles, calamari, seafood/scallop dish, and calamari - everything was fantastic. The service was also great. Very personable nice people. The salmon and rice pilaf was lovely but you're also supposed to get shrimp and scallops. I got 2 for of each and they were both hard and or overcooked as if they had been precooked. I specifically asked my server Ken if their Chioppino was a nice balance of the seafood within. He assured me that it was and he was 100% correct. The broth was exceptional with plenty of beautiful meaty mussels, firm and fresh haddock, big-ass shrimp, a couple of clams, and delightfully tender scallops made for the perfect balance. Paired with a well-crafted Manhattan it was a great way to end the work day. And as far as the Ignite staff, everyone was welcoming and friendly, and Ken was especially attentive. I have a shell fish allergy but the rest of my party loves seafood so it was the best of both worlds.
