They make my favorite 3 way super roast beef. Service was great, my only concern was today the meat seemed to be chewy when normally it falls apart in your mouth. Mikey's Roast Beef & Pizza opened today in the former ABC Pizza & Subs in Hooksett. This casual pizza shop serves up traditional & specialty pizzas, pizza calzones, hot & cold subs, roast beef sandwiches, wings, fried appetizers, salads, pasta, cookies, and Pepsi products. The prices seem pretty reasonable here. The place is order at the counter and there are four small tables inside. I stopped in here for takeout and ordered a Small 10" Meatball Pizza ($9.49 plus tax) and a Large Chicken Bomb Sub ($8.99 plus tax). The food was ready in 25 minutes after ordering. The meatball pizza was very good, which was baked in a pan topped with a savory thick tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and firm meatball pieces on top of a firm depressed thin crust with rolled thicker edges. The Chicken Bomb Sub was awesome, which thin pieces of grilled chicken, mushrooms, peppers, onions, melted American cheese in a rich tasting marinade on a thick soft and chewy sub roll. I have tried Mikey's a couple of times, I really wanted to like it. Our favorite pizza shop is closed on Sundays so wanted to give Mikey's another chance. Very friendly people, but our pizzas were both SO undercooked and doughy. I had to come home and put it in the oven to cook the crust. read more

I recommend getting the north shore beef style which is called "3 way" and comes with cheese on the bottom, James river bbq sauce and mayo. This place simply rocks. The roast beef is just like the best places in Mass and everything else on the menu is made with quality and care. I had yet to try the steak and cheese sub from here cause I always defaulted to other menu items. Normally when I'd get a steak and cheese I'd just go next door to nadeaus which was simply "ok"... It's hard to find a good steak and cheese in Manchester for some godforsaken reason, but giving Mikey's a go was the best choice I ever made. Best steak and cheese in this entire state and 2nd place isn't even close. Tasted better than when I make them myself at home. I was excited to try a new takeout and delivery restaurant in Hooksett. We ordered a 5 oz. roast beef sandwich, ziti with meatballs and marinara, garlic bread and a single,patty smash burger. Being a foodi, I am a little worried about getting served frozen food items from restaurants. I called to check, and was told it's all homemade. The ziti came with 3 yummy homemade meatballs and the marinara tasted homemade and delicious! The garlic bread is so good and toasted perfectly. Growing up outside of Boston, I know a good roast beef sandwich, and this did not disappoint! So tender and tasty! The onion roll was perfectly soft to accompany the beef. The smash burger was perfectly cooked and amazing. Overall, we were very pleased. They also offer delivery which was perfect! I think we found our new weekly takeout restaurant! While perusing local pizza places, as I've become disappointed with my current fave, I came across Mikey's Roast Beef and Pizza. Mikey's bio really impressed me, and I decided to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a small pizza, my standard fave of roni, sausage, and extra cheese. It was the absolute best pizza I've had in years. Perfection. Delicious. Excellent ingredients. For me, the perfect pizza's cheese goes out onto the crust, so that when it's cut, the cheese doesn't all pull into the middle of the pie. Every slice is the same. Mikey's is my new go to pizza shop. My wife got a roast beef sandwich and "absolutely loved it".The best roast beef she's had in years. We're both pretty picky about our take out, but don't take our word for it. Give Mikey's a try. Got takeout from this place last night. Ordered a large chicken parm calzone and 2 super beef sandwiches. The super beef sandwiches were ok, giving this rating a bump from 1 star. The manager who answered the phone and took my order failed to let me know they have 1 size calaone for 14 bucks and it is tiny. So when my girl came home with the food I was shocked to see this tiny little clazone with 2 mediocre sandwiches... I come from the north shore in MA where every crap sub shop serves a decent roast beef, this is about as average as it gets. The calzone size and not letting me know it was small, plus the poor quality of food are why I gave this 2 stars. Would have been 1 star if the beef was bad, use this place as a last resort if you aren't a college student. Pic of the tiny calzone with a Bic lighter for scale! Went here to give it a try. Place is definitely a hole in the wall. I ordered a super roast beef with small fries. After a moderately long wait (with no one else in site) I recieved my bag, stapled enough times to be chain mail. Once I got in, I was greeted by a very small (kid size) pale, just barely done fries, in another bag (stapled again and to the outer bag...) and a Styrofoam sandwich container. It might have been an onion bun on that roast beef, tough to say. The roast beef was lukewarm, cold in the middle. I had asked for BBQ sauce. This thing was slathered in some sort of hot sauce/pepper sauce. It was inedible. And that was $16 down the tube. Don't go here for the roast beef (and I fear how they mess up pizza...) read more

Mikey's has great food! This time, I had a veggie calzone and it was extra crispy, loaded with lots of different veggies and lots of cheese. Definitely worth the price. Mikey and staff are super friendly and his place has an overall great atmosphere. Definitely recommend! read more

This is a mediocre spot, the pizza was okay, but the cheese was unmelted and the sauce was oily. the sandwiches however, were gross. The lettuce and tomato were clearly not fresh. the turkey was sliced very thick and were slimy. Overall, would not go there again. read more

If you like burgers, the Smash Burger is ALWAYS delicious!!! Seriously, we've had them 5 times... ALWAYS delicious! The roast beef sandwich is Top Notch too! As good as Kelly's or Giovani's RB sandwiches. You can't go wrong. Just remember to specify your toppings. The plain cheese pizza is very good. But they're still working out the kinks with the BBQ chicken. The cubed chicken is a little dry. I hope Mikeys sticks around for a long long long time. read more
