The filling itself is where things stall out. It needed something: more onion? more seasoning? better cheese?, and the cheese was grainy and not much flavor. A decent sandwich, not mind blowing. The pizza by the slice did not look good. So maybe I understand their rating. Dining room has about eight tables, and every single one of them was dirty. At 3pm it's after the rush, someone needs to be wiping down. Settled on the least dirty table and cleaned it off myself with napkins. For $18 I'd expect more. read more

Wish I would have reviewed the recent reviews. We used to order from Mickeys often but it always took so long for them to prepare the order so we stopped. I tried them again and chose delivery. If you're going to charge a delivery fee maybe make sure the food at least arrives somewhat warm. The steak and cheese and pizza arrived cold. And the pizza looked as though it had been sitting out forever. The cheese on the pizza looked dry and the crust a bit burnt. When they first opened this location in Derry NH my family decided to try and order from them in hopes that we had found a new solid takeout in town. The place seemed packed with waiting customers, the staff clearly hadn't found their stride and things were a complete mess in the kitchen with what seemed like lack of direction, communication and management. It took about 1.5 hours to receive our order that night. Honestly I just chalked that first experience up as a new location with a new staff trying to figure things out and wasn't that taken back from it. About two months later I tried them again and it was the same thing, just a complete mess and chaotic process in the kitchen with pizza making crew talking about sports while throwing pies, grill and line crew bumping elbows and getting in each others way and the front staff losing their minds trying to put orders together with zero communication about what's being handed to them. After this second time we kinda were done with dealing with this inconvenience and high prices. Fast forward about 4 years to just the other night when we decided to give them another shot. We ordered online, they gave us a pickup time of an hour. When I walked in and saw waiting customers sitting and watching one girl trying to load orders next to the cash register with staff just stacking unlabeled bags of fried orders and sandwiches while trying run the register I knew not one thing had been done to fix the chaos I previously witnessed. Pizza guys still joking and laughing like they were on vacation, grill line still chaotic with one kind just walking back and forth looking busy but actually not doing anything because he was just lost. The floor in the kitchen just completely covered in dropped food and being stepped on so much it started to look like smeared mashed potatoes. The girl finally called my name after a total time of 1 hour 20min and asked " did you get a pizza too?" I told her no and then she looked up the order and handed me the Bag and said " everything is in there". When I got home and open the bag we noticed that not only were things missing but there was other stuff that we didn't order. We tried to call and get it sorted twice but their automated service would try to reach them and come back with " nobody is available sorry for the inconvenience" and just hang up on you. I drove back and waited just a few minutes for the missing items and went home to finally eat. One of my kids ordered the chicken parm and said the pasta tasted like chemicals and just ate the chicken. My other son got the chicken tender plate and got a stomach ache shortly after. My wife liked her sandwich but the 3 orders of French fries we ended up getting were oily and super bland. The cheese steak with the Seeded roll was ok, but it sat wrapped for so long after being packed, and waiting for me to drive back and forth was now partially soggy and no longer appealing. I've seen some food review videos about this place and I would have to say they are clearly being paid for positive reviews. This place has the potential for being really good but between long waits and a chaotic staff it's clear that the issue is management and lack of training. The sticks were good and I liked the marinara sauce. The pizza was delicious. This is a thin crust NY style pizza. Crust was cooked perfectly, the sauce was the star, and the cheese was good too. I ordered 3 items for delivery for an evening with my kids. The pizza was not delivered. The delivery driver said they were not given a pizza. The electronic receipt says to call the restaurant. I have now called 12 times in the 35 minutes since delivery. Each time, it is answered by a robot. Each time, the robot claims to be transferring me to a team member. Each time, the phone rings and rings until I'm told that no one is available. Mistakes happen. It's part of life. This kind of experience is de-humanizing. It is anti-consumer. It is anti-human. I paid a delivery fee for this order. And - there is apparently no way to receive any kind of customer service. I am out my money, the pizza, and so far - - - over 30 minutes of my Saturday. We've ordered here a few times and the food is usually pretty good. Sometimes a little inconsistent. Tonight, we ordered delivery and got two Ceasar salads and pizza. The salads didn't come with any dressing. We called to let them know, and the young man told us that we could come and pick the dressing up. This wasn't an option for us (hence why we opted for delivery tonight) and instead asked for a refund of the salads. They declined to do that--somehow not thinking that people would need the Ceasar dressing to enjoy the Ceasar salad. We won't be coming back given this poor customer service. Super expensive option for pizza with a million choices. My sicilian vodka pepperoni was almost 30$ andthe pepperonis and crust was burnt yet some of the pizza was not fully cooked. I stopped in at the new Mickey's NY Pizza in Derry, formerly Seasons Pizza. This is Mickey's second location and the original location is in Hudson. I've been to the Hudson location a few times for pizzas and my favorite is the Loaded Potato Pizza. I placed my order online for the Derry location, which was quick and easy, paying ahead of time for a Small 12" Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo Pizza ($11.99 plus tax). The pizza would be ready in 48 minutes after placing my online order, good timing since I was driving from Concord. When I arrive at Mickey's NY Pizza in Derry, the place was quite busy since it was their first official night open for business. I could see the staff was really working hard in the open kitchen making pizzas and other food items. I waited in a short line and got my pizza boxed and ready quickly after saying my name. The pizza I ordered tasted pretty good, but it looked like it was slapped together, which had a very firm chewy crust topped with a creamy alfredo sauce, marinated pieces of chicken and broccoli, a modest amount of toppings and an inch of edge crust. Overall, I would give this location 3.5 stars for now, rounding up for effort with the high customer traffic on opening night.
