    Ribeye

The place is half bar half restaurant. The bar is a good size with plenty of seating and tv's on the wall and on the restaurant side they have ample seats both tables and booths for dinner. The service was excellent she was hard working polite. The food was just ok but the Ribeye was under cooked sent it back and came back overcooked the lobster roll was a little dry but still good the baby back ribs were good but still a little tough to chew I wasn't crazy about how the food came out. The ambience was dark and the lights were turned down.

I've been coming to on the corner grill since they opened, and have tried several different things on the menu to try and give it a chance, but getting takeout this time was extremely disappointing. If I had gotten this dish inside the restaurant I would've sent it back. The worst part is, I've ordered this same exact meal from them before as well, and it looked completely different. The chicken marsala is bland and pretty mid-grade as well. This is just sad for a $30 dish and I didn't eat any of it. I didn't even recognize which meal was mine. I've also ordered a steak from here and wish I had a photo - but it came out rubbery, bland, with a few iron marks, and they try to load it with barbecue or steak sauce. As a steak lover this hurts my soul. I think about the night I ordered this steak more than I'd like to admit. Even the chicken broccoli ziti isn't as good as some of the local pizza places that can make it for way cheaper. I've finally learned my lesson after many trials and tribulations. It's so bland and one of the worst versions of this dish I've tried. We live so close by the restaurant that it's a shame I won't be going back, and I simply wish I enjoyed it more.

I was excited to have dinner at this place. The fried calamari was delicious, but unfortunately our entrées (scallop scampi and spaghetti with meatballs) were extremely salty. I couldn't eat the scallops dish and had to send it back. Overall, we don't think we'd return--the chef seems a bit too heavy-handed with the salt.

Italian Trio: Lasagna, Ravioli, and Chicken Parm

We had a very enjoyable dinner at On the Corner Grill this week. We had the O Chicken and the Italian Trio for entrees and they were both delicious. I loved the 3 different sauces in the Italian Trio. I felt like I needed my plate on a lazy susan so I could just spin it around as I tried all the different items: chicken parm, lasagna in alfredo sauce, and ravioli in red sauce. The cocktails are delicious and I tried the Pumpkin Martini and the Espresso Martini. We would definitely go back again if we're ever down in that area.

We tried this place for the first time tonight. Place is small but cozy and tables do not feel cramped. Def make a reservation online, it's quick and easy. The food was good. Bathrooms were clean. We will be returning.

COVID update. They still rock. I didn't do photos cuz we did it to go. Their Biergarten is open and so is indoors and the bar. Servers do masks and they sanitize between customers. It all good and very nice. I would have planned the Biergarten had I planned better. Let's talk food. Cheese steak egg rolls ROCK! Mostly steak with just enough cheese to glue it together along with a good chipotle cream sauce to plays well with the egg rolls. Had the butternut squash ravioli which were good in a nice cream sauce. BUT, the veal Francese ROCKED on angle hair pasta. I'm sure the yardbird version is just as good.

    Cobb salad with blackened chicken

Probably one of my favorite restaurants in southern NH. I go once a week at least if not twice. Their stuffed pork chop is amazing. I do enjoy the Cobb salad with blackened children or salmon. Stuff mushrooms are great as well as the risotto. Everything on the menu you can't go wrong.

Our only real option was two seats at the bar. We had quick and attentive service from the bartender. Interesting offerings for cocktails, and we enjoyed our drinks. The food I think can be best described as American/Thai/Asian. Food came pretty fast, and we started with crab rangoon, and possibly the largest we have ever been served. Fried up crisp, not greasy and generously filled with cream cheese and real crab. Next up, we tried the Waygu burger which was quite good, nice toppings. My only complaint here was we wished the fries were fresh out of the fryer. I'm really fussy about fries and like them hot, crispy and fresh. Sadly, these were not. I had my eye on the Choco Taco for dessert, and this was a sophisticated version of the classic frozen treat you may have enjoyed from the ice cream truck as a kid. Home made with great ingredients, it was a perfect finish to a very nice meal. I would definitely give these guys a try when in Newburyport.

Wow what a great meal!…read more We went as a party of five. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodated us running late as well. Our server was so kind and gave us helpful advice on our order. We ended up ordering the Jerk Duck drumettes which were incredible -- super soft fall off the bone duck in a tangy sauce with some spice. Truly perfect and I think we all licked our plates clean. We also tried the fried okra which had little okra sticks set in a yogurt dip and was a really nice compliment to the drumettes. Last we got the Plantain chips which were so good -- definitely some of the best plantain chips I have had because they cut them so thin! And the dipping sauce was yummy also, would definitely start your meal with this. For mains, we shared the Suya Fennel, Goat Ragu, and Prawn Curry. I'm not sure I've ever eaten a fennel dish before but the Suya Fennel was so yummy with different textured vegetables in a creamy sauce. The prawn curry was also incredible with five fat prawns in a tangy coconut curry sauce with a side of fried roti/paratha perfect for cleaning up all the sauce. They also were easily able to accommodate a nut allergy and put the cashew cream on the side for us! The goat ragu was also yummy but came out like-warm (not sure if that's how it's supposed to come) and was overshadowed by the other mains a bit. For dessert we ended up trying all three -- the Cardamom Semifredo, Chocolate Raspberry Clafoutis, and Mango ice cream and love all of them! I think we all agreed our favorite was the Cardamom Semifredo because it's so unique -- the texture of the cake is almost like rasmalai and it comes with crunchy puffed rice which was a perfect balance. Definitely worth trying if you're open to trying something new! We also loved the mango ice cream with peanut brittle which is thicker than typical ice creams and also like a mango lassi ice cream. The chocolate clafoutis was super solid and similar to a lava cake, and perfect if you're looking for a chocolate fix, but not as unique as the other two. Overall we had such a great time at Comfort Kitchen. The service was great, the food was great, and the vibes were great. We will certainly be back!

To start with, the service was incredible, from the very sweet, friendly hostess, to our patient, helpful, excellent server. There is nothing like fresh French fries! We also had the Spinach Pie- Spanakopita, which was authentic, and fresh!! Before I forget to mention- the fresh bread comes with homemade olive tapenade. Fabulous!! For our meals, two of us both got the Pork Gyro plates. They were HUGE! So tasty, and delicious, served with hand cut French fries, pita bread, tomato and onion slices, and fresh tzatziki sauce. We have enough for a few meals! The restaurant the beautiful. So warm and inviting. I can't wait to go back! Don't mind the pictures- we forgot to take them before we ate a few bites!
