A local Facebook group had raved about this restaurant so it was on our list to try. A friend and I arrived on a Friday afternoon around 2 pm. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who seated us right away. Our server Victoria came shortly to offer us drinks but we were already prepared to order. We each ordered a side salad and for my lunch entrée, the shrimp fried diavolo and for my friend, the veal marsala. Tap water for drinks. The salads arrived in a reasonable amount of time and included fresh spring mix, diced cucumbers, olives, tomatoes and onions. My friend has the balsamic on the side and commented that it was delish! Our entrees arrived fairly quickly after we finished our salads. Both dishes were piping hot. My diavolo includes five medium to large perfectly cooked shrimp and the pasta was al dente with the right amount of heat. I had requested a light spice level. My friend was pleased with her veal which was nicely cooked with ample mushrooms and al dente rigatoni. Overall we were very satisfied with our meal and our server Victoria could not have been more friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and orderly. We're fans and will be back! T The food is delicious, I've tried the risotto with beef and with pork chop both excellent. It's definitely the top 5 restaurants around here. I've tasted other dishes that were equally good. It's so good my daughter gets pickup here at least 3 times a week. In my opinion the only restaurant on par with this is the Windham Inn. I will definitely go their again and try all the dishes. I've been dissatisfied the last two times we have eaten here. first off how can they serve you and another person 2 tiny slices of bread take forever with your food so you ask for more bread and they charge you 2.00 for another tiny two pieces. I have never ever been charged for bread anywhere. another time I was charged 7.00 for them to bring me an empty plate so that I could split a meal with my daughter. disgusting!!! it wasn't like we didn't order appetizers and cocktails . never going back !! horrible policies in place here! read more

Was excited to try this venue with old friends, as we explore all restaurants in the area. Food was priced high for the quality. Service was good. The venue was loud. At a 5:30 reservation,on a Thursday, we left at 7:30. There were many empty tables and booths. Yet, we were informed that we "overstayed" our reservation. Reservations are 1.5 hours. Seems like drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert need to be confine to 1.5 hours. Not a return-to place. read more

OMG the best food we have had in a long time. Looks can be deceiving doesn't look like much from the outside but it was a amazing place to eat. A friend and I enjoyed a terrific dinner last night . There was a good crowd at 7pm when we arrived , but we were promptly seated. The service was very good. They seem to have a team approach where everyone is busy, pleasant and efficient . We were given time to peruse the menu and given water and a breadbasket with a delicious focaccia and dipping sauce while we decided . It's a bit dark so reading the menus took some effort . We ordered salads while deciding on dinner ; we were never rushed . The salads were crisp and fresh . There were a lot of enticing entree options . I had a special of the evening which was a seafood trio - scallops, shrimp and salmon served over fresh, generous , plump lobster ravioli with a kind of Parma Rosa sauce . It was delicious !! Really delicious! I'm polishing off the leftovers as I write this. The sauce is creamy, but does not feel heavy . The portion was generous . My friend had a delightful mushroom risotto with shrimp . It was delicious and also quite a generous portion . We also shared a fantastic lemon cream cake / fresh and delicious . For a new place it seemed like a well-oiled machine with happy staff. I went into this restaurant yesterday with 4 other people. Not only was the experience below standard, I ended up with food poisoning. During the visit, our server "Adrianne" rarely checked on us and we had to look for her several times. We'd also made her aware twice about hair in a stuffed pork chop entree ordered but she made excuses and did nothing to resolve the matter. She didn't even credit the bill for the item. Overall, a horrible experience. Very disappointed. Nobody from management came to the table to address any of the problems or make it right. read more

My husband, son and I went to On the Corner Grill Wednesday evening at 5:00 for the first time. When looking to make a reservation they had openings' available from 4:30 to 7:30. If you didn't make your reservation you were charged $25.00 per person. Since my husband has a job that he cannot reliably leave at a certain time, we decided to not make a reservation. We arrived at 5:00 and the hostess asked if we had a reservation. We told her no and she told us we could sit at the bar or outside. There were many tables open in the restaurant, but we opted to sit outside. We ordered drinks, I ordered a white sangria. When our drinks were brought to us I questioned if mine was a white sangria since it looked a bit pink. She told me that, that was their white sangria. We were sitting enjoying our drinks when the waitress came over and informed me that the drink I was drinking was meant for another person and then proceeded to take it from me. She gave me my white sangria, but she surely had to throw away the drink I was drinking. We enjoyed our meals but this place is rude. If they have an empty restaurant and only offer you places at their bar or outside, I think they only want people with reservations so they have an opportunity to make money on missed reservations. Also if they mess up on a drink order I feel they should leave the drink with the person already drinking it! We will never be back!! read more

Came here with a friend for the first time and stayed for 5 hours! Needless to say we very much enjoyed ourselves. Arrived around 4:30pm on a Friday and didn't have a reservation. They said they were full but luckily had open seating at the bar. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was top notch, and their espresso martini is a must try! We order a burrata eggplant appetizer and tuna with risotto entree off the 'specials' menu, which I would recommend (and order again) a thousand times over, and steak tip risotto from the regular menu which was also very good. So to start, the food here is good. HOWEVER, we will NEVER come back to this restaurant again. We have 2 very big problems with how this restaurant is run. 1. My friend has celiac disease and we came here because they have gluten free options. When we asked the waitress, she said they have a gluten free fryer so she could order any appetizer on the menu. She was SO excited. After ordering, it turned out they were too busy to accommodate her allergy and there were no appetizers that she would be able to safely eat, though the entrees would be fine. This was frustrating because we had come here specifically because they cater to people with this severe allergy. 2. I had been here with friends before and were asked to vacate our table when our allotted time was up. I was taken aback by this but thought it was a fluke and made a reservation today to try it again with some other friends. When I called and made our reservation for 6:30, they told us we would have the table until 8:30. Ok weird policy, but its' plenty of time, so no problem. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready so we waited and were seated at 6:40 and were told we had until 8:30. When I pointed out that we were seated 10 minutes late and asked if we would have until 8:40 the hostess said, "oh yes, 8:40 is fine". At 8:15, we had paid the bill and were finishing up our drinks and the waitress came over and told us that the next party was here and that we needed to leave. We didn't make a fuss as we know it's surely not the waitress' policy, but managements policy that she's stuck enforcing. I went to the bathroom and my husband walked out and stopped to talk to the hostess to share our concern. He asked her about the policy and pointed out that we had been kicked out of our table 15 minutes before the official end of our reservation. She responded by saying the waitress "must have been joking". He said no, it was very clear that she had asked us to leave and explained that in fact, we hadn't even sat down on time and had been told we had the table until 8:40. She brushed it off and not wanting to cause a fuss, he left. On my way out, not realizing he had already spoken to the hostess, I asked her about the policy on the way out. She told me that the waitress was just giving us a warning. I explained that in fact it was not a warning, she had said that we needed to leave, and 15 minutes before the end of our reservation at that. She said she was sorry if I had misunderstood the waitress.... The waitress had made it very clear we were to leave and there was nothing to misunderstand. The food here was good, but my group of friends and I will not be returning. I have never been asked to vacate a table anywhere other than here. The first time I thought it was a fluke, the second time it was clear that this is just how they treat customers. I could understand if we had overstayed our deadline (which is still weird but whatever) but being kicked out 15 minutes before a deadline that we were reminded of many times was incredibly rude and tasteless. I really truly hope the owners see this review and reevaluate this policy and/or how it's handled. read more

Decent place that's close to home. Me and my family (4 of us) are getting quite tired of the local offerings and thought to give OTC another go. It was quite busy for a Saturday evening right before 5. We were told there might be a 30-40 minute wait. So we hung out near the bar and window at the front to get out of the way as the waiting area between the 2 doors was quite cold and we didn't want 4 bodies hanging out by the walkway area between the bar and dining room. I think we were seated before the 30 minute mark. We got a table at the hightops by the bar. The tables were a bit squished as all of them were full. But it was nice to be at a restaurant full of customers. We ordered one app of mozz fritta, they were good and we liked the sauce. The complementary bread came with a delicious seasoned oil for dipping. One of the kids got a cheese pizza which seemed decent for an 8yo. The other opted for a caesar salad chicken, which was $16 with the chicken. My SO got a caesar and wedding soup, which came out to be $17. He seemed to enjoy both. The salads were fresh and dressed well, just pricey for a plate of lettuce croutons, dressing and some grated cheese. With help from our waitress to decide between 2 pasta dishes, I settled on the rigatoni bolognese. I'm not sure why the word "fresh" appears in the description of this dish, as the rigatoni was just cooked pasta, not homemade or anything. Anyway, I was hoping for a much richer, complex bolognese. It was a bit watery, probably from the pasta, and just not that flavorful. It had bits of sausage and beef, but just sort of lacked more flavor. Bolognese is one of the dishes that I often get when we go out for Italian and I also make it at home. This was a mediocre plate for sure. The waitress didn't offer fresh grated cheese or black pepper. Not sure it's a "thing" there. We finished off the night with a cappuccino, a coffee with liquor and a lemon cake. The cake was tasty, but a little dry. So, though I like the restaurant and our family enjoys the food, I'm not sure how often we'll go for a meal as I think the prices are high and the food is above average, but not stellar. read more

Build a bigger restaurant if you need more seatings. We don't know what has happened to this place. I'm so unhappy. The past two times we have gone to OTC have been disappointing. First, we get seated in the bar area, which is usually filled with drinking people who are loud and moving around drunkenly, which ruins any sense of intimacy. Also, you're seated at a high top table, which doesn't signify fine dining as a rule, but, rather, potato skins and mozzarella sticks. However, on our previous visit, we ordered lobster bisque from the specials, which was $18 for a bowl. It wasn't made clear about the size or the price, because we would have shared it or not ordered it at all. It wasn't very good, and I wish I hadn't ordered it, but we had two of the bowls at our table. Service was chaotic, but that was probably because of the chaotic bar atmosphere, with the bartender and servers tripping over themselves trying to make sense of the chaos. On our most recent visit, I had made reservations because it was our anniversary. It didn't occur to me to request something NOT in the bar area. However, that's where they sat us again. None of the people at our table drink. And yet, that's where they sat us, at a high top table in the crowded bar. The drunks kept backing into our table, the tvs make it like a sports bar, the music was too loud, and the crowd was very loud at the bar. So much for conversation. The meatballs were not hot, the baked haddock was actually nothing that we expected, (gross, actually, and mushy in a casserole dish), the rigatoni had some slab of something white over the top, (I thought it was bechamel but my husband said he thought it was congealed provolone), and it wasn't pretty at all. I don't know what has happened to this place, but it's so expensive, and yet it purports to offer better quality along with the prices. However, in this high-top table loud bar atmosphere, it is absolutely not worth the cost. Really, mediocre at best. We're so sad about it. read more

Always great food and drinks. The only thing I didn't care for was the bartender who would take a long time to even acknowledge me. I was sitting and waiting fiori at least 20 minutes one time. another time, I was sat at the bar in a busy night, and she ignored me for about 5 minutes while she was chatting up some other people at the bar. In the mean time, a man was sat next to me. at that point she came right over. Then spoke to both of us at the same time. When she finally took our orders, I had to let her know we were not together. We have been to Capital Grill in Boston and Gordon Ramsay's Ramses Kitchen and the food at On the Corner Grill was just as good, maybe even better. The service and the drinks were also exceptional. We heard good things about this restaurant but we were somewhat disappointed. The place was very noisy, so noisy that my husband and I could not have a conversation without yelling across the table! But my biggest complaint is that this is the only restaurant that I have ever been to that charges for bread with your meal. They brought us a bread basket with 3 very small pieces of bread (3 pieces for 2 people?) and when we asked for more bread, they brought us 2 more very small pieces of bread. When we got our bill, we were charged $2.00 for the additional bread! We thought that was rather tacky and classless. The food was okay but we will not go back again. read more
