The food was incredible and the restaurant is on the water. They have comedy night with also the ice cream gift shop.

Had dinner there a few times since it opened. The host is very people friendly, Kathleen and Nancy have assembled a staff of wait persons, servers, cooks that are very professional. They have a bar staff that is very knowledgeable. Food is fantastic and they have a fantastic Salad Bar. The owner is female and a Veteran and offers Veterans discounts. I've been hearing about Warren's for years but when the waiter said there were new owners I wondered if that was a good thing. Sadly it turned out we should have continued on to Portsmouth for lunch rather than stopping at Warren's. Very, very disappointing and s very very expensive disappointment. I got the $48 lobster roll and yes, there was a lot of lobster . The problem is the lobster had absolutely no flavor. I'm used to a slightly sweet flavorful lobster and tasted like nothing at all'. They changed extra for onion rings instead of French fries. For $48 you'd think they could throw in a few onion rings. My husband thought the lobster bisque was awful - he left most of it. No lobster flavor at all. It was served lukewarm. He had it reheated but still awful. The waiter took off half the price because it wasn't served hot but it was still inedible. My sister asked for a fried clam roll , which they made and she enjoyed. But considering they charged $35 for done clams on roll she should like it. Very poor quality good for very high prices. The waiter was good and the pumpkin bread was the best thing we had.give it a pass. read more

Warren's in Kittery is back open under new ownership and a new name, Warren's Seafood & More. They are in their soft opening phase with very limited menu and salad bar. The place inside is still old school with 3 dining rooms (and lounge) and the 60+ item salad bar in the main dining room. They were in their soft opening phase at the time of this posting. I stopped by on a quiet Tuesday afternoon since this was the day I was already in the area. I looked over the food menu which offers appetizers, chowder, lobster bisque, sandwiches, burgers, fried & baked seafood dishes, non-seafood meals, lobster dishes & rolls, and desserts. The prices are moderate and entrees include the salad bar, no soup yet. However, since it was midweek, the only food options were burgers, lobster roll, and salad bar. They just ran out of burgers when I got here, so you know where this is going. Anyways, I helped myself to the salad bar which had iceberg lettuce, spinach, veggies, peppers, pickles, stuffed pepperdews, pickles, bean salad, cold baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, hummus, taboule, cottage cheese, applesauce, strawberrie/blueberries, pineapple, dressings, garmishes, rolls, and pumpkin bread. The lobster roll had a good amount of claw & knuckle lobster meat on a toasted roll with a bag of Wachusett potato chips. I added some lettuce & pickles to the lobster roll from the salad bar. I had some homemade pumpkin bread (recommended) and fruit for dessert. The check was presented which was $34.55 with tax and before tip. I was glad to have a taste again of an old school institution with the only salad bar in the area. I did notice that the cutout plastic number card on my table was the Beach Plum lobster holding up 2 ice cream cones. The baked haddock I ordered was a big piece of fresh fish that was the best I have had in many years. Lightly sprinkled cracker stuffing The carrots and broccoli side was fresh not canned . Now the salad bar was very good although I would like to see more pasta (rigatoni) and maybe some mustard pickles and carrot raisin salad. Overall it was enjoyable. Well this was FUN we stepped back and into Warrens. What a Costal Gem and a feeling so nostalgic. The restaurant is so clean and authenticity of aging with grace. ON THE WATER! We ordered over the phone for pick up. It was very busy (a good sign). The shrimp were large (shrimp cocktail), the lobster roll was delish (I warmed it up a bit), the onion rings were excellent, as were the fries. My mom enjoyed her clam chowder. We had no idea how large the salads were (I guess that is why they say "world famous salad bar). I'm still eating the leftovers. My sister liked the chicken burger. Overall, a valid Maine experience! I haven't been here in several years. First will say the interior has not changed one bit. It's definitely in a time warp! (And not in a good way) It's dated, dark and downright unattractive! The clientele was definitely older so maybe they don't need to keep up with the times if that's their demographic. Upon entering there were very few diners. Yet the staff had a very hard time deciding exactly where to seat us. As we walked through to a small table in the center, the hostess said "there are no water view tables open right now" as we walked past FOUR water view tables that were open and remained so through most of our dinner. Ok menu..."seafood and more" is in the restaurant name yet with the exception of a chicken sandwich, burger and I think chicken parm (?weird) there was pretty much only seafood. Prices? The salad bar alone is $25! But my date's meal, fish and chips was $25 and included the salad bar (again- ??) Let's talk about the salad bar. It was low on many items. There were slippery veggies on the floor around it. Not super clean. Service: I ordered baked scallops for $32. The menu said it came with the salad bar, rice or potato AND seasonal veg. I was given a choice of potato or veg- not both. Fine, I didn't feel like a fight so I chose the veg. After we ordered we helped ourselves to the salad bar, ate our salad and then proceeded to wait another 30+ minutes for our meals. During this time our server, Bailee, stopped once to apologize as she ran by then once again to say our meal was up next. We saw her bring food to several tables after that and waited another 15 minutes before ours came out. Food: scallops were hot but had too much mushy crackers on top for my liking. There were 6 scallops that were about the size of a nickel and a few small "chunks" (not whole). They were cooked well so can't complain about that. The vegetables? Lol burned, very scant and floating in a pool of oil (see picture). My date's meal was fried fish (overcooked) and onion rings (cold). We couldn't complain if we wanted to because Bailee was MIA. When she finally showed up to clear the table and leave the bill we had been done and sitting there for at least 20-30 minutes. She apologized again and said she was waiting for food in the kitchen so she was clearly aware of the problems! I've never wanted to leave $0 tip so bad! We did leave a tip but it was not deserved. Long time Warren's customers. Saturday was the best meal I've ever had at Warren's. Scallops and haddock with baked potato were excellent. Fresh, not greasy, served with plenty of tartar, butter and sour cream. Large portions. Salad bar was clean, great variety and well stocked. New wooden flooring is a nice update. Sweet potato chili was excellent. Waitress was the owner's sister and checked in on us multiple times. Only criticism was the blueberry cobbler cheesecake which was clearly made off premise and tasted like refrigeration. Menu should indicate that chicken tenders are available. Bring back the mustard pickles and candied apple slices to the salad bar. Mom was impressed. read more

My wife and I went there on Sunday afternoon. The salad bar was good, lots of stuff, seemed fresh. --but we had two issues that bothered us. #1 the young waitress we had was more interested in talking to the man in the booth behind us than taking care of us. She was young and needed more supervision. #2 There was a fellow doing live music, it was to loud, we couldn't have a conversation, seemed it should be in a lounge, not in a dining room people were trying to talk and enjoy their meal. We went last weekend and won't be coming back for a long time. We don't they've been open only two weeks, but that's really not an excuse. Kinks should be marked out already . I Asked for a root beer we don't have that. On The salad bar half the stuff wasn't even on there and the stuff that was there was all mixed up with other things in it., there's no plain bread. The only bread is pumpkin if you eat that you're very good. If not, you don't get bread. I did have the chowder ate about four spoonfuls very watery no clams just potatoes. Hubby and I had an excellent experience at the newly re-opened Warrens! We stopped going to the previous restaurant after terrible service way too many times so decided to give it a try since it is now under new ownership. So happy we did! The food was excellent! Scallop dinner, and Scallop & fried clam dinner were perfectly cooked and prepared. Lightly fried, and just fantastic. The coleslaw is some of the best we have had, and the soup and salad bar was fantastic too. A variety of greens & beans, vegetables, fruits, potato salad, banana bread, and lots of other goodies and toppings with several dressings, and a wonderful homemade dill dressing, which reminds me of Germany! Soup was great too! As a multi-Veteran family, we were thankful and grateful the new owners are Veterans as well as support Veterans, and also offer a military discount. The owners son, Joe, came out to chat with us, and he was very nice and down to earth, and we enjoyed our conversation with him. Our waitress, Kathryn, was very nice, pleasant, friendly, and down to earth as well. We watched her handle a rather rude customer being condescending to her (they were sitting behind us), and she was professional with no attitude at all, and we were impressed how well she spoke to him regardless of how he was being. She is an asset to the restaurant for sure! The view of the water and boats and homes was nice, and there is plenty of parking. Was thin, flat, not flaky...presume previous flash-frozen. Flavor nil and I asked for grilled, 'ok' was response, came baked with no seasoning. Mistake. Lobster roll seemed good. Coconut shrimp highly frozen-breaded medium size, disappointed, all fast-food-all-you-can-stand-trough-style Ambience - excellent. Cool old seafood vibe on the harbor. Decided to return to try it out since it's been reopened and there's LOTS of room for improvement. First off, our waitress was an absolute sweetheart so that was the one big positive. We were also sat quickly. Salad bar no longer has chilled plates even though the chilled plate sign is still there, bring that back. It's a nice touch. Soup bar, minestrone was dull. Needing flavor. Also have little saucer plates to put under cup. Hard to carry a cup of soup by the cup without it making a mess or burning you. Onion rings needed to be hotter and crispier, little floppy and batter was slightly under done. Fried haddock filet was skinny and flimsy. Salmon was ok, little dry and skin was left on and slimy. Crisp that skin if you're leaving it on! Mixed veg was a flop with mushy, mealy tomato chunks in the mix that didn't make sense and rice pilaf was super watery and flavorless. Pumpkin bread was still yummy, tabouli needs bulgar in it, not just loads of parsley and bring back baked potatoes. read more

We went to Warren's Seafood and More and were amazed at the wonderful salad bar and the generous portions of food. I got the fried clams and scallops and after the salad bar, I could only finish less than half of my meal. There were five of us and we all enjoyed our meals! We also loved the famous pumpkin bread. It's in the salad bar and it was so good, we all got a loaf to go. Very reasonable pricing too. Highly recommend this place. read more

My wife got broiled scallops and they were tiny and swimming in watered down butter. The salad bar wasn't too bad. The lobster bisque had no lobster in it. I tasted liked a bowl of melted butter. I've been wanting to try since you guys reopened, because I LOVE a good salad bar. Husband and I went for dinner. Ordered a painkiller and stitch spritz for drinks which were delicious. Got coconut shrimp for an app (because they were out of lobster Rangoons) which were pretty tasty. I got the salad bar for dinner, and was happy with most of the options. I was disappointed to hear that the clam chowder wasn't included in the soup choices, so I ordered a cup anyways. It was decent. I do wish there had been one pasta salad option. Also, they didn't refill the pita bread the whole time we were there. And wish the rolls were warmed. Now. My husbands meal. He got the "baked salmon with mustard and cranberry glaze." I'm going to be a lot nicer than he was in the car. It came skin on, skin side up, with the "glaze" on top. The glaze was whole grain mustard with cranberry bits in it. A glaze should have some sweetness to it, this was just straight up mustard seeds. Since that was the only seasoning on the salmon, and it was just spooned onto the skin, it has almost no flavor. The cook on the salmon was terrible. It was more poached than baked. The pilaf tasted like Rice a Roni. The "fresh veggies" (zucchini & squash) were drenched in oil and parsley, and were just mush. Remember, that's nicer than what he wanted to say. We didn't say anything outright about the entree to the waitress. However, when you come back and ask how things are, and see almost the whole entree uneaten, and we decline a take home box...You should ask more questions. got there at 5pm. 30 minute wait excepted. sat down out of certain items. got the seafood platter that feeds atleast 2. had to pay extra 9.99$ for salad bar for extra person. got the seafood platter was missing the haddock fillet! waited 15 minutes for someone to notice us by the time the food was cold. they brought us a piece of haddock it was so thin with thick dark fry breading. a lot of full belly clams with sand expected sometime but the scallops also had some. not much fry's / onion rings. food tasted good but not the best service/unaware staff. read more

Call me entitled if you want, but I expected a better dining experience--especially from a place that used to be Warren's Lobster Pot. Sadly, the new Warren's Seafood and More is not it. Total letdown. Our server was polite and trying hard, but the issues here clearly stem from poor management. The online menu promised lobster rolls advertised as "fresh lobster on a grilled brioche bun". The "lobster roll" offered on site was described in the menu as a "Baked Stuffed Lobster Roll - Lobster baked with seasoned Ritz cracker crumbs & butter". Sorry, hard pass. Additionally, there was no lobster bisque, no appetizers, no freshly baked pita bread (as advertised on their website). The only bread was pumpkin spice, and there were no small plates provided with which to carry it to your table. You have to throw it onto the top of your salad, along with the little foil packets of butter if you want to enjoy some. You're only allowed one bowl for your salad (that your server brings to you) and they no longer offer chilled salad plates, although the cooler is still there advertising chilled plates. My twin lobsters were fine, but the rice pilaf was gloopy mess, the vegetable medley (overcooked broccoli with cut up tomatoes - is that a 'medley'?) was flavorless, and my husband's fried scallops and clams were over-cooked (to the point of just being a heap of 'brown' food) and flavorless. Then came the biggest red flag: being asked if I would like to retain my used salad bowl for another visit to the salad bar. Seriously? That's a health code violation. Maine's Food Code (3-304.16 Using Clean Tableware for Second Portions and Refills) specifically mandates that clean plates must be used for every visit to a buffet or salad bar. We weren't even offered coffee/tea or dessert to finish off our meal. To top it all off, throughout our meal, a loud woman--seemingly a manager or owner--held court in the booth behind ours. If she wasn't shouting across the room, calling staff over to visit, she was giving training lectures to employees mid-meal. It was impossible for us to have a conversation. At one point, I had no less than 3 employees standing directly over my left shoulder chatting obtrusively with her. It was distracting, painfully inappropriate and unprofessional. This isn't the Warren's people loved. Poor food, poor management, and ZERO sense of courteous hospitality. Warren's isn't back--it's gone for good. read more

My husband and I stopped in today,11/9 for lunch. We were big fans of the original Warrens and looking forward to going back to try other dishes. My husband had the salmon which he loved I also tasted it was very good. I had the knuckles and claws in a casserole, It was loaded with lobster meat and very tasty. When ordering food, go with the fries or onion rings, as cole slaw is on the salad bar. Bought a loaf of pumpkin bread home and was great with coffee the next morning. Let me start by saying that I have been to the REAL Warren's many times. A few weeks ago, I said to my son let's try the NEW Warrens. It was horrible. The coconut shrimp was definitely frozen, it was like bullets of shrimp with smooth breading no real coconut, it was nothing like the butterflied shrimp with delicious coconut coating and dipping sauce that the REAL Warren's had. Also, we ordered Haddock chowder. I am not exaggerating when I say that there was ONE piece of fish about half of the size of a deck of cards, that was IT. No other fish, just broth. It was 12.99 and we got one each. The kicker was that AFTER we ordered, we went to the salad bar and soup bar and they had FREE unlimited fish chowder. The waitress did not tell us that, and we could have saved $26 instead of getting the horrible Haddock chowder. For the main meal, we got a fisherman's platter. There was not a lot of seafood and the breading was SO THICK it made everything look bigger than it actually was. This was the first time I saw fried clams that were FLOPPY. The experience was NOT GOOD. and you did not COME BACK...you are new and not good. read more

Entire experience was bad. We were second in line to be seated. Waited 20 minutes - empty tables and staff was not letting us know why there was a long wait. 5 of us got the salad bar. The choices weren't great, sometimes gone and not replaced, and some were mislabeled and my family member ate something hot and spicy ruining their lunch. The soup was burned - couldn't eat it. We ordered one appetizer from the kitchen. It had not come out by the time we were done. Asked to cancel it and were told "ok but I'll have to pay for it". So we boxed it up to go so "she wouldn't have to pay for it". $115 for 5 salad bars, one chicken tender appetizer and 5 sodas! We all hardly ate - left hungry. I will NOT return.
