Stopped into Hooked Seafood Restaurant before going to a show at The Palace Theater which is literally right next door. The set-up is interesting because it is connected/affiliated with Ignite Bar & Grill. They are 2 separate restaurants, but they share menus. And, you need to see the hostess at Ignite to get seated at Hooked. Having said that, my friend and I really enjoyed our dining experience. We sat at the bar because we didn't make reservations which we will do next time. I would recommend doing that, especially on show days/nights. It was so difficult to make a choice because there were so many items that were appealing. Anyway, I ordered the Pan Seared Sea Scallops on the recommendation of Marisa, our server/bartender. It came with house made vegetable risotto that was chuck full of vegetables. The scallops were the best I've ever had. The portion size was perfect and I'm not ashamed to say I ate the whole thing. Jennie got the Seafood Mixed Grille-she had no complaints. Marissa was friendly and helpful. There is a full bar. Bathrooms are spotless. I recommend Hooked Seafood and will return for more deliciousness.

Hot Lobster roll with Chips and Slaw

I was in New England and wanted a lobster roll, and this was one of the only places in town that had one! The guy at the hotel front desk recommended this place and I was glad I asked him! Service was amazing with a very attentive, personable waitress who was delivering delicious drinks with lightning speed. They were pretty busy too! I had an adult iced coffee drink to get the night started with a pick-me-up, then a Cadillac Margarita to go with the delicious buttery garlicy wings, and finally the Nor'easter which is their take on a Dark N Stormy... Now onto that lobster roll... This was a great lobster roll. I like the warm/buttery kind and the toasted but was stuffed with lobster and not too much butter. I didn't need a bath afterwards is what I'm saying. I got chips instead of fries (they fries looked like steak fries which aren't my favorite) and it was a great meal! This was a casual place and they have a Hooked menu (seafood) and and Ignite menu (land food) so there's something for everyone. I'd go back here if I was in Manchester again.

Perfect place for a pre Palace theatre show ! We had reservations for 5:45 ( show at 7:30). It was busy but not packed. Service was great, very friendly upbeat waiter. Food was good, loved the scallops and risotto. He enjoyed his steak. Would definitely go again, especially before a show.

    Cioppino, the best

Cioppino. Wow, the best. Beats some of the choice shops in New Bedford and Fall River. Perfectly cooked, hearty stew sauce. Will be back.

Wonderful dinner at Ignite Bar and Grille in Manchester on Monday. We had a great window seat which was almost like sitting on the sidewalk but safe from bees. Service was lovely, and all of our drinks and food were delicious. I had the Spicy Paloma, and the steak nachos appetizer. For dinner I had a nightly special which was baked cod topped with two jumbo grilled shrimp, over a bed of rice pilaf and baby spinach, and all smothered with Cajun cream sauce. Yum! Hubby had the Costa Rican fish tacos. A great evening!

Blown away by everything. The waitress was great. Angeliza. Very nice. The music was surprisingly great. Ambience was good. The food was amazing. It was the best salmon dish I've had in years. Possibly ever. Seriously. Wtf. I ordered the "Blackened Salmon" with potatoes, asparagus, etc.. some sauce. The grilled salmon was so good I asked the waitress who the chef was. Apparently it was Chris. Bald guy. I waved at him. I'm shocked at how good this dish was. I've had grilled salmon in big cities and this was better. Possibly the best I've ever had.

This place made me very sad.... Sad because it was so great but being I live nowhere near here I don't know if or when I'll have the chance to return. I was in town for my graduation and being the seafood lover I am my husband took me here for lunch. Graduation weekend means pretty darn busy but we were seated fairly quickly. The server and hostess were very friendly. The food was a little bit of a wait but considering how busy they were it was reasonable. In the meantime the drinks were speedy from the bar and mixed well... not watered down or too strong, just right. The lobster roll was mine and just how I like a good roll, big meaty chunks! I also loved that the restaurant was not very big, dim lighting made it feel comfy but inviting. Like I said if I lived in the area this would def be a date nite option on the list.

Make a reservation. I went on the website and called and I'm glad I did. They were turning people away. We sat across from the kitchen which was an experience. Best artichoke crab dip ever. Chips were freshly made and warm. Real cheese, crab, artichoke and spinach. Lobster Mac and Cheese was next level. Cioppino was one of the best I've had. Service was friendly and attentive. The only downside it no room to order multiple dishes. Had a hard time deciding what to get.

Honestly do not know much about the area, but it was easy to find off 93 and plenty of parking. Stairs and a full ramp to access the front. Not huge, set up more for take out and maybe delivery. But they do have some tables and we were able to put two together and all sit. They had a large tv playing cartoons, so the kids were entertained while we waited. Great menu options for adults and kids. Sandwiches, wraps and salads were our focus, but they did share they offer an incredible seafood menu. Maybe next time. The food was fantastic. Perfect for our group. The onion rings were a huge hit and the fries were crispy and not mushy. My Italian was loaded with everything and worth every penny. A family business it seems and they all were so pleasant and nice to talk to. They even gave me a recommendation for a park to take the kids. This casual takeout restaurant was redone nicely which is order at the counter or online with a few tables and flatscreen TV in the dining area. They offer sandwiches, wraps. hot & cold subs, burgers, gyros, salads, fried foods, wings, chicken rice soup, spinach pita, pasta dinners, seafood (fish & chips, haddock, calamari, shrimp, scallops clams), kids menu, cooler drinks, and dessert items (baklava, cake, tiramisu). The pricing here is pretty reasonable. I stopped by East Side Grill after work for takeout. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan Dinner ($13.95 plus tax) with side salad and roll & butter and Fried Calamari ($17.95 plus tax) with spicy fries, side salad and roll & butter. I also used a $3 off $30 purchase coupon (covered the meals tax). My order was all set to go in about 12 minutes and I headed home to enjoy. The portions of food were pretty good sizes. The side salads had fresh romaine lettuce, green peppers, carrot, cucumber, tomato, red cabbage and Ken's salad dressing packets on the side. The soft rolls were chewy. The Eggplant Parmesan had thick breaded slices of eggplant topped with melted cheese & parsley over soft spaghetti with a zesty marinara sauce in a rectangular foil container. The firm calamari (rings & tentacles) had a golden breading and the golden fries were coated with Cajun seasoning, tartar sauce on the side. I saved some leftover food for some of my lunch and dinner the next day. I would definitely stop in again soon since this place is literally on my way home.

It's not authentic Japanese, it's an interpretation of Japanese by Chinese workers and Cooks. Also, Chinese service isn't great and the waiter here isn't attentive and a bit too casual for my taste. The food itself is just acceptable, and for the price not great. The atmosphere also still is pretty weak, and the restaurant is small. It's sort of almost like a hole on the wall. On the West Coast, I've eaten at over 30 authentic Japanese restaurants, and for those of you who aren't Japanese restaurant or sushi aficionados... This food is probably fine.
