We recently dined at Oakcraft Pizza in Salem, NH- The food is fresh and comes put quick. That being said, the food was just OK. The pizza was decent but a little forgettable, and the sauce for the meatballs needed a bit of work. The service was also just OK- another patron had let the staff know about a large puddle of water on the floor, and the staff never addressed it, while they were standing in that puddle waiting for their food. OK Oakcraft I love coal and woodfired pizza and as long as delivery drivers have a warming bag, your pizza survives a 15 minute ride. I am willing to pay more for quality and for the size of your pizza and the fact that it is coal fired, I am a fan. I have ordered pizzas from Oakcraft a number of times now. Only once was the crust a little too floppy for me, but the flavor was still outstanding. Every other time they have been perfect. They are a generous personal size so we each get to pick what we want and have plenty leftover. The meatballs are also really good; super tender, and the sauce is delicious. read more

We enjoyed the food after a busy day at Canobie Lake Park. 4 kids were very satisfied including 3 adults. They were personal size but only a VERY hungry kid could finish the pizza. 2 kids shared. We had a variety of pizzas - cheese, pepperoni, buffalo chicken, and veggie. The caeser salad was also very fresh. Pizza is just ok. Ordered 3 pizzas for takeout and ate them at home. The size was ok, not huge, and the thin crust was good. My biggest issue was all of the toppings are minced. No chunks - literally like the size and texture of bacon bits, and not a lot. Very tiny and unrecognizable pieces of chicken, bacon and lettuce on the chicken bacon ranch pizza. The flavor was good but it would've been nice to have actual pieces of the toppings and more of them. Value for the price is low, about $60 for three 10-12" pizzas. I think they are trying to be a gourmet style shop but in my opinion there are too many pizza shops around to pay a rather high premium for a sub-par product. read more

Be aware that the only pizza size is small. I did not see any indication of that until I picked up my pizzas. Cost is about the same as large pizzas elsewhere. Stopped by for dinner on a whim on our way back to Boston from up north to let traffic die down before continuing on. We were happy with everything! Owner was there and explained the concept of the restaurant. He was diligently training his staff, as well. Ingredients were fresh and pizza is ready in less than 5 minutes!
