First things first I love the decor and love that you can see the pizza oven. I started off with the mac & cheese bites and they were so tasty! Top pizza is KOREAN BBQ (kogi bbq sauce, mozzarella blend, braised short rib, sweet drop peppers, scallions, arugula) and bottom pizza is THE REAL BROOKSY (garlic oil, mozzarella blend, lemon basil shrimp, roasted tomato, oregano, parsley). Everything was cooked to perfection oh my goodness! I was nervous about the lemon basil but that enhanced the flavors! So good! Overall, this place is nice with both indoor & outdoor seating. The entire staff was great. Highly recommend if you are looking for enjoyable brick oven pizza in downtown Andover! I will be back!

This place is extremely cozy and a great stop for brick oven pizza. We started with the mac and cheese bites that were so delicious and had just the right amount of cheese. I really enjoyed the pizza and thought it had a nice crunch to the crust, I wish I would have ordered an extra side of sauce to dip the crust in however. We finished with the warm chocolate chip cookie, I could have eaten the whole thing myself, so gooey and chocolatety

Decent pizza. I wouldn't travel from out of town for it. It's better than most take out pizza. Fresh ingredients. Super friendly staff. Clean resturaunt. Undercooked cheese pizza, for my preference. The meat pizza seemed to be cooked more. So ultimately it was just inconsistent. Our server didn't check back with us or I would have mentioned it. I'd try it again. Maybe it was just a one time experience.

Had such a delicious dinner at Brooksy's with some friends! Tried two 10" pizzas - the white truffle mushroom & the veggie pesto - both were SO good. Enjoyed some local brews on tap with the pizza. Food came out quickly & the service was great. Our waitress was so sweet & friendly with great recommendations! We loved her honesty about her favorite pizzas. Overall the place is cozy with both indoor & outdoor seating. Highly recommend for some delicious brick oven pizza in downtown Andover!

On a freezing cold Wednesday night, we (my son and I) decided to take a ride to check out Brooksy's in Andover. We were delighted to find a parking spot right in front of the establishment. When we got inside we were quickly approached by the hostess. There was a decent crowd with the bar being all full but one seat. We checked out the menu and ordered a large cheese pizza and some bone-in wings. We got a drink, as well. Our server was a very nice. She took the order on the hand-held device which sent our order quickly to the kitchen. There is one TV, which is located near the front of the bar, which was playing a college hockey game. We did not wait to long before our food was at our table. The pizza looked awesome and the wings looked even better! Once we started eating, my son and I both agreed that this was a solid new find. The pizza was tasty with a great amount of sauce and maybe just a hair to much cheese (but who is complaining?). The wings were great. My son used buffalo sauce, which he thought was a generic hot sauce....and he was happy with it. I thought the wings were a great size and I loved the taste! There were 8 wings in our order, which I thought was a fair number. The restaurant seems like it is very well run. We were in on a very cold evening, but I am confident that either way, things run pretty smoothly here. Between the students from Andover Academy and then the town of Andover, I can see this location doing very well. They have an awesome brick-oven in the middle of the restaurant, which was great to see! It would be fun to sit at the bar and watch the kitchen prep all the delicious food they push out. Service- on time, very nice Price- fair...just under $40 for pizza, wings and two non-alcoholic drinks Location- downtown Andover....seems to be a busy place Parking- We got real lucky tonight but there are enough spots available around the Main St area Would I come back again? YES...for sure! Next time I plan to try the BBQ pizza and some fries.

Every few months we like to hit Brooks for an appetizer and pizza. Everything has always been excellent. They also have great burgers.

When I checked yelp, it had really good reviews too, so it was worth the try. I was really impressed with the ordering experience. They knew what they were doing. And if this obviously wasn't their first place. Although the chicken Shawarma was hanging and could be cut at any time dripping with juices, they actually had a container full already cut chicken Shawarma. Looks really, really juicy fresh and yummy. So we would pass on Shwarma next time. Too bad. For the dinners, two shows chicken Shawarma one chose halloumi salad, and one chose falafel plate. For the sides, we tried the hummus, vermicelli, rice, regular potatoes, spicy potatoes, Fattoush salad, and all looked really good. The atmosphere looks to be the type that I wouldn't really want to sit and have a romantic dinner at, but it does have a nice bar on the side, and there were a few people sitting and enjoying the trick with their food. We got takeout. The chicken Shawarma was pretty dry, and could have used a little bit more spice. We got the garlic aïoli on the side, and it matched it well. The hummus is excellent consistency, but needs a bit more spice also. Perhaps some of the dry spice they sell in the store. The halloumi on top of the salad is excellent. Really excellent. We drove a half hour to get home, so the halloumi was no longer warm, but that's expected. The salad under the halloumi, was really good. Very fresh, a bit different with the mandarin oranges, raisins, and slivered, almonds, and it all went well together. The dressing that comes with it, is the fig, balsamic vinaigrette, and that tasted just like a bottled fig balsamic glaze. It's the sticky very strong taste, and it was perfect on the salad and the cheese. Tabouli was great taste and yummy. So fresh. Disappointed in the pita, wish they were cooked in house. Cookies for dessert were pretty amazing. Homemade in house and they tasted it, and though they were kind of pricey, we would probably get them again. We really liked this place. 4 stars because of the dry shwarma.

Working with gluten and tomato sensitivity, I dropped my Yelp bookmarks for the Andover/Boston area into Chat GPT and was told that Monica's Mithai would be the one we would rave about later on. Touché Chat GPT! Situated in a small side street in the picturesque and idyllic Andover downtown, this restaurant evokes a fun night out with its hot pink decor and spots to take a selfie. You're warmly greeted by Monica's family who makes you feel right at home and is willing to make you anything your heart desires, including an off-menu, gluten friendly version of Butter Chicken Poutine (and yes it was a winner)! Of note, I am accustomed to restaurants who are good with food allergens, but this one knocks it out of the park! No nuts in any of the sauces, plenty of vegan options and extreme care for any other dietary preference. Might I also add that the ghee is homemade?! Every detail is well thought out, including this one of a kind menu - it takes you out of the comfort zone of typical representations of Indian cuisine and stretches you to creative and flavorful spins on classics, like the Samosa Chaat, whose sauce was light, slightly sweet and full of flavor (but doesn't weigh you down to the point you can't fully enjoy your next dish). The paneer makhani was to die for - prior to this, my kids and I have just one restaurant that qualifies for the "long drive just for the food" trip and now this restaurant joins that very short list. The paneer was equally light and mildly cheesy, complementing the slightly sweet, very savory tomato based (I think) sauce. I think Monica's could easily turn this into a sort of dipping sauce or soup for an Jndian grilled cheese (adding mirchi/chili and tomato to the sandwich). Monica herself stopped by our table and I felt like we had met a celebrity who didn't mind taking time to talk to a complete fangirl. Great news is that both the Velvet Makhani sauce and ghee are shipped anywhere in the US so I could bring this delicious food back to my NJ peeps, to their delight and mine. The drink menu is also creative and extensive. As a beer girl, I thought nothing move me away from the deliciousness of the Local Widow Maker Blue Comet IPA - but the recommendation for the Rupee Basmati Rice Lager changed my heart and mind on rice lagers forever. I capped off the night with mango lassi (less cream, more fresh mango purée- yes!!!!) and would give this a 10/5 if I could. Keep up the great work Monica and family!

I've gotten pizza from here twice and both times the crust was overdone, even burnt in some spots. I ordered via the Toast app and there is the option to ask for a lighter bake which I wish I had done. Both times I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and mushroom with garlic bread crust which was about $30 after tax and tip. The pizza is large but still on the pricey side. The garlic bread crust seemed like it was just garlic powder seasoning so it doesn't add much flavor. However I appreciate that they are generous with the toppings and aside from the crust, everything else was good. The location is a pain to get in and out of because the parking lot is small and it's located on a busy spot on 114 next to Stop and Shop.

So I had a second lunch (two slices from a whole pie that I'll finish another day). -- Pepperoni Pizza: I've come to expect high-quality and that's what I got. Lightly charred crust with a fairly firm base, neither done to an extreme. Unexpected was a bit of sourness to the cheese, which was actually a plus, adding complexity. Robust tomato sauce is there in greater supply than most, and I like that. Pepperoni isn't as thick as Tree House, but it's noticeably thicker than most, and much more flavorful. If there's a weakness to this pizza, it's that the crust is more of a vessel (though a well-cooked one) than flavor provider, but it delivers structure. There's more than enough flavor everywhere else. -- Chocolate Chip Cookie: I always covet them but today I took the plunge. I expected good, but not necessarily great beyond pizza cookie standards. It's fairly thin, very bendy, and very moist, with so much chocolate that I feared it would detract from the dough. Not the case: despite a slight resemblance to supermarket bakery cookies, this dough emphasized butter, not sugar. And a fabulous butter at that (probably brown butter), bringing a darker flavor with nutty hints of caramel. Salt crystals on top are cliché nowadays, but restraint ensured they'd enhance, not distract. The flavor got better with every bite. Excellent cookie that would put many full fledged bakeries to shame. Back to the pizza: If you're not into the tomato, the char, or the lack of seating (2 booths), this place might not be for you. But I'm all for the first two and don't mind gambling on seating, because tailgating is always a worthy last resort for pizza this good.
