We just moved very close bye. On moving day we got a cheese and pepperoni pizza - and I tried and enjoyed both (fresh and reheated)...and I am a fairly picky person when it comes to pizza. Oh and my girlfriend who went to get it said everyone there was very nice and friendly! The next day, we were about to fire up the grill and decided not to cook (still hurting from moving the day before) so we go subs...they don't make a true American (I guess that also has bologna) sub but my girl was able to get one with Salami and I tried the Steak Bomb...both were very good!!! I gave the Steak Bomb and 8.5/10 which is pretty ridic for just some small town sub shop! We also tried the fries, which were crispy and not shoe-string (not a fan of skimpy fries) so I was very pleased. Again, the people working were upbeat and welcoming. Spinners is my go-to when out on the road in the Andover area. Their pizza is one of, if not, the best Italian style pizzas in town. I also like their steakbomb - it's loaded and you will need a fork! There is usually plenty of seating and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. read more

Well this happened. First time ordering here. All toppings slid off, never seen a Big Mac pizza with sliced tomatoes instead of diced, let alone putting them under the cheese so nothing stuck to the crust. Very nice and cozy pizza spot at the train station in Andover. I was working in the area and saw the sign, I decided to try and loved it. I ordered mozzarella sticks and Broccoli Chicken calzone, it was delicious! Every now and then I catch myself thinking about it... Such a shame is kind of far from where I live but I will definitely come back when I'm in the area. Parking may be difficult. read more

Half the lights were out but I'm pretty sure that's on me, I stopped in right before the usual hours for a weekday dinner rush. Employees were friendly. Andover in general is a pleasant town with nice people and I got the feeling a local family owns this place. Pizza was prepared quickly but tasted great. Soft, bready, genuine crust with good sauce and real cheese, every part tasted homemade. Exactly what you want from a New York style pizza. If you've ever had a truly good one in the northeast you know what I mean, there's nothing else that compares. My philly sandwich wasn't as good. The chopped steak tasted like it wasn't made that day. The cheese was an odd choice, like a too-strong cheddar and it didn't help things. If this was all I ordered my impression would have been much worse than four stars, but the pizza is clearly the star of the show here. If you want a regular pizza place for the area (or maybe the commute home?) Spinners feels like the best possible choice. read more

Spinners pizza is one of the best, if not the best Pizzas in Andover. We do exclusively get just the pizza however. We stick to the pizza because our experience with sandwiches or sides has been disappointing. Those things are not "bad", just disappointing. The flavors are off. It reminds me of what you'd get from a restaurant who doesn't go through its fresh ingredients in a day and they server day old lettuce or tomatoes. The fries are similar to the fries when Burger King experimented with some kind of texture thing and destroyed them. But the pizza, excellent! read more

I'm a big fan of their pizza. It's less greasy than most of the pizza around here. Dough has a nice chew to it but isn't overly buttery or greasy. Toppings are good and everything seems fresh. The Popeyes pizza is great, good chunks of chicken, and a nice mix of feta spinach and garlic. Kids chicken fingers were good and the portion was generous. It had white meat chicken which was nice. Delivery is always fast and the young man who delivers is very polite. It's becoming our go to for pizza. read more

So I didn't actually eat here but it's across from the Ballardville commuter rail stop and I accidentally took the wrong train home from Boston one day (whoops!) ended up here, got off the train so I could try and turn around to go home but there is zero cell service to figure out train schedules. Popped into this pizza place, it smelled delicious! I asked if they had a Wi-Fi I could use to try and get home, the guy working there was super nice, gave me the password, wished me luck getting home. 10/10 would recommend based on smell and super nice staff read more

The pizza here was very good. I like thin crust, and this did not disappoint. Service was quick (15 minutes during lunch rush), price was reasonable. $13 for a large with two toppings and I think they have a coupon or two on their website. Location is a big plus because you can take back roads to get there. Parking is a little tight in the front during the lunch rush. They do have a few tables if you want to eat in, but I'm assuming most of their business is takeout. read more

My man took me here the other day. I'm super picky about pizza, absolutely loved it and honestly can't wait to try some other items. The pizza was just awesome!! I love a thin, crispy crust and this wasn't really thin but definitely crispy awesomeness :) The guy I think is the owner was really nice and judging by the constant traffic and number of pizzas flying out the door via pickup and delivery, he really cares about his business. Our fFriday night trek took us to Spinner in Andover this week. Small place across from the Train Station but pretty cool. the people were very helpful and the food was very good. We got the about an hour an a half before they close and they made no attempt to rush us out at all. Had the feta pizza which was good. THe buffalo tenders were VERY good and the Mozz sticks were well done. Only thing i would offer is maybe come up with their own marinara sauce for the mozz sticks. Other than that, experience was great. Family had a good time and lots of laughs. Owner even helped with the laughs as he cashed us out. Would definitely return! Big V read more

I ordered a Greek salad with buffalo chicken no tomato and with croutons and onions. The girl on the phone was fairly unpleasant but I wouldn't call her rude. Salad got here, the chicken was about the temp you would expect it to be after it came out the of the microwave for 45secs. They forgot my croutons after she had repeated the order to me and it was on the receipt. There was a a few huge chunks of feta cheese and about 3 sad looking olives. Ya know I am typically pretty easy going as far as local businesses go. But last night really bugged me. I am have been ordering out from Spinners for 3 years as my go to place. I recently moved from Andover to North Andover and was really disappointed to find that they wouldn't deliver to me at my new place. I am the same distance as I was from my Andover place, and it just seemed like a burden to them that someone called who enjoyed their pizza. I am unfortunately forced to spend my money elsewhere now which is too bad. I can't knock them for having good product, because the pizza is good, but hearing the owners/managers in the background on the phone telling the poor girl who answered that they wouldn't deliver to North Andover without even asking my address was odd. Not sure if it was a new cook on the grill, but when I opened up my to go sub at work, I was highly disappointed of the lack of flavor, very little steak & the onions were barely cooked. The food is cheap and usually fast. The pizza is ok. Avoid the pasta dishes because the pasta is usually over cooked. Also one time I ordered delivery and there was a rock on my pizza. Another time I recieved a delivery and there was a fly in my co-workers salad! Yucky! read more

Excellent steak bomb. Very flavorful and fresh. Pepperoni was a nice touch and gave it more flavor. Fries were crispy and hot. The greek salad with grilled chicken was also very good. The chicken is marinated and tender. This place is more of a take out joint, though there are a few tables for sitting and watching the trains pass by. read more
