Last time I went ordered a steak and cheese. I asked if it was still on a braided roll the kid said no. I still ordered it anyway because I figured the steak sub itself was delicious. I'm sure it's fine. I get the sub I go to sit down open it. The cheese was just placed on top ice cold brought it back to the kid and said, please send this back the cheese isn't even cooked into the steak I said is something going on is it new ownership ? He said no I said well this is not good. The guy cooking didn't even bat ann eye and threw it back on the grill to melt the cheese then hands it back to me with no word whatsoever not a sorry about that. Nothing just a really weird experience and at that point I didn't even really want to eat the sub. I took three bites it was not good. Tossed it and left. Don't waste your time or money going here. They're not what they were a year or two ago.

Along with being so impressed by the customer service, we really liked the pizza. We kept it basic that night, trying a cheese and a margarita. Excellent crust, a zing-y, not-sweet sauce, quality cheeses. We hope to find ourselves passing by Pizza Lisa again sometime to try more off their menu!

I ordered a slice of cheese and pepperoni- both were great and I didn't think I would like it due to the fact that I like thin pizza but this one was very good and my daughter enjoyed the cheese. Ellie's Kitchen opened over the weekend at the Route 97 Shops in Salem near the Methuen line. They…read moreoffer traditional and specialty pizzas (12"-16"), hot & cold subs/sandwiches, salads, wings, appetizers, kids menu and desserts. The place is order at the counter with several tables to eat in. They also have online ordering through Toast and offer DoorDash delivery. During my Sunday football ritual, I decided to place a scheduled online order through Toast and ordered a custom Large Half/Half Specialty Pizza ($19 plus tax) with The Homestead/Big Mac halves and Cannolis (2 for $6 plus tax). I headed over to Salem after the afternoon games were done and before the SNF game. I arrived here around 7:36pm with a scheduled 7:30pm pickup. I knew they were behind since the staff was stressing out over the pizza oven not working properly and pizzas in the oven taking a while to bake. My order was all set to go 3 minutes after I arrived. The half/half pizza crust however shrunk a bit to 15"×14.5" diameter instead of the 16" round diameter, which was a firm thin crust, slightly chewy texture. The Homestead had hot pepper jam, pulled pork, pickled onion and cheese base and the Big Mac had mac sauce, ground beef, lettuce, onions, diced pickles & tomato. The pizza choices were fairly good and the tomatoes on the Big Mac slices were a nice touch, though the McD Big Mac does not have tomatoes. The 2 Large Cannolis were filled up nicely with a dense cocoa cream filling in crispy shells and coated with chocolate chips on the ends. I didn't want to stress the staff even more, since their oven wasn't properly working and I only paid $3.50 more for a large vs small pizza. Overall, not too shabby on opening weekend. The pizza tasted just fine and the cannolis were enjoyable. However, they really should QC the pizza sizes (dough amounts/baking crust) to make sure the proper pizza size fills the box properly. I would come back once the kinks work out.

Anyway, there was lots of unfilled space in that wrap. I could forgive that. What is not forgivable is that they called the meat inside the wrap STEAK TIPS. It was stew beef or flank steak or something, but definitely NOT steak tips, and to call them that is reprehensible! It was not grilled, it had no steak tip flavor, kind of a mushy gray as far as steak goes. Needless to say, I would not recommend the steak tip wrap.
