Pepperoni Pizza
Erin O.

I can confidently say this is the best pizza I've tried in the Boston area! I've had Garlic Breath Pizza on my radar after hearing good reviews and it truly did not disappoint. We ordered their pepperoni pizza with hot honey and garlic bread crust, and it completely blew us away. The crust is perfect crisp, the sauce is slightly tangy and sweet, and the pepperoni is addictive. The hot honey and garlic bread crust are really the cherry on top of an already good pizza, but beware that this makes for one greasy pie! My only complaint is that I wish the interior of the restaurant were a bit more accommodating for guests.. it's clear that most of their business is takeout only. They do have a couple of tables to sit at, but I wish the ambience were a bit similar to your typical NY/NJ pizzeria.

My partner and I shared a pepperoni pizza (garlic bread crust), cheese pizza (well done bake), and cookie - TASTE: 4/5 - I loved the garlic bread crust and salt topping on the chocolate chip cookie, otherwise both the pepperoni and cheese tasted pretty standard. Wish we tried the special "fire marshal Bill" pizza too TEXTURE: 5/5 - definitely memorable in its super crunchy texture, airy crust, and no flop -- glad to have New York-style pizza up here. Also, my favorite cookies are super thick and chunky, but was still nice to switch it up w this extra thin one PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $49 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - 16" pizzas which left us w plenty of leftovers. Single slices are available at select times SERVICE: 4/5 - ordered online on a Sunday afternoon and arrived 1 hour later to the pizzas being ready on time ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - classic pizzeria vibe w lots of 90s throwback decor. Wish the space was bigger for more seating PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking in the Jasmine Plaza lot

Tried the garlic bread pizza and really enjoyed it -- the cheese paired with the garlic bread dough made it flavorful and satisfying. The spot also has a Street Fighter arcade game, which is a fun bonus while waiting for your order. Overall, good pizza and a fun atmosphere.

Best pizza I've had around here! The sauce tastes so fresh, cheese is delicious, and the crust is just perfection. I would drive 30 mins here again and again. So so delicious.

ok, i'll be the first to admit it- who doesn't want to eat at a place called "garlic breath pizza"? while i went into the joint expecting to walk into a cloud of garlic aromas, i was greeted by friendly staff and the retro vibe of the joint. only a couple of cloves of garlic are in each batch of sauce. slice is 3.25, toppings are standard and on one of the tables. overall would come back - easy, NY style pizza. no frills, great crust. missed opportunity to not have a garlic lovers pizza!

We happen upon this place in Andover, because we were going to the big picture framing shop right…read moreby it. It looked good, it smelled good, and they were plenty of people inside. When I checked yelp, it had really good reviews too, so it was worth the try. I was really impressed with the ordering experience. They knew what they were doing. And if this obviously wasn't their first place. Although the chicken Shawarma was hanging and could be cut at any time dripping with juices, they actually had a container full already cut chicken Shawarma. Looks really, really juicy fresh and yummy. So we would pass on Shwarma next time. Too bad. For the dinners, two shows chicken Shawarma one chose halloumi salad, and one chose falafel plate. For the sides, we tried the hummus, vermicelli, rice, regular potatoes, spicy potatoes, Fattoush salad, and all looked really good. The atmosphere looks to be the type that I wouldn't really want to sit and have a romantic dinner at, but it does have a nice bar on the side, and there were a few people sitting and enjoying the trick with their food. We got takeout. The chicken Shawarma was pretty dry, and could have used a little bit more spice. We got the garlic aïoli on the side, and it matched it well. The hummus is excellent consistency, but needs a bit more spice also. Perhaps some of the dry spice they sell in the store. The halloumi on top of the salad is excellent. Really excellent. We drove a half hour to get home, so the halloumi was no longer warm, but that's expected. The salad under the halloumi, was really good. Very fresh, a bit different with the mandarin oranges, raisins, and slivered, almonds, and it all went well together. The dressing that comes with it, is the fig, balsamic vinaigrette, and that tasted just like a bottled fig balsamic glaze. It's the sticky very strong taste, and it was perfect on the salad and the cheese. Tabouli was great taste and yummy. So fresh. Disappointed in the pita, wish they were cooked in house. Cookies for dessert were pretty amazing. Homemade in house and they tasted it, and though they were kind of pricey, we would probably get them again. We really liked this place. 4 stars because of the dry shwarma.

Tastes watered down. REGARDLESS, ALL THE STARS IN THE WORLD for their drinks. The peach shaken ice tea and raspberry rose teas have every complex note they describe. I'm jaded by all the fruity drinks/tea blends out there that are just too sweet and artificial. Nan's makes it perfectly. The white peach actually shines through, which is rare in my experience. The raspberry is REAL. Speaking as someone who enjoys artificial raspberry flavors of jam donuts and bottled ice tea...idk if Nan's makes it for real, but, if so, you can taste it! You still taste the tea, the fruits, the florals, it's not watered down, and best of all--not overtly sweet. Their fruit drinks have the perfect balance. It's genuinely refreshing and delicious. I find myself craving their teas all the time!!

**We found our new favorite spot!**…read more My partner and I stumbled upon Nan's Kitchen and what a delightful discovery it was! As first-timers, we were treated with such warmth and patience by the staff - no pressure, no rush, just genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. We started by sharing the hatch chili farro bowl with roasted cauliflower and hominy, fragrant ginger carrots, and lemon mustard salmon. The tomato harissa sauce and zhoug were absolutely incredible - seriously, these sauces are to die for! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were so well-balanced. Pictures are not perfect, but the lighting was so warm and comfortable, you will have to excuse them! Halfway through our meal, I spotted they had coconut carrot soup with chickpeas and ginger on the menu and literally ran back to order a cup. We ended up sharing that too, and it was such a smart move - the soup was aromatic and comforting with just the right amount of spice from the ginger. To drink, we had fresh lemonade and iced tea (both perfectly refreshing), and couldn't resist finishing with their banana pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. What really stood out beyond the exceptional food was how accommodating and friendly the service was. They made splitting dishes feel completely natural and were so welcoming when I dashed back for that soup! The attention to flavor and seasoning here is remarkable - every single component of our meal was thoughtfully prepared. We're already planning our next visit. Nan's Kitchen has absolutely earned a permanent spot on our regular rotation! Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared food with service that makes you feel like family.

The Naanza is absolutely delicious, every flavor is bursting through and the textures are perfection, would highly recommend. The chopped kachumber salad was very fresh. The lychee martini was a little too sweet and the chai martini was too milky for my liking. There are a lot of interesting cocktails on the menu so I'd like to try something different next time. For food I ordered the Samosa Bliss and the iron pan (kadhai) hit with paneer and a side of garlic naan. The samosas were delicious: crispy on the outside and well-seasoned on the inside with a tangy sauce. The paneer was excellent in terms of portion size and texture. I would have preferred basmati rice with the entree instead of the yellow rice and more garlic on the naan, but overall it was a satisfying meal. There isn't a dessert menu but they have a case with a variety of Indian sweets. Service was very attentive and felt like you were eating at a family's home. Lots of nearby street parking. As with many older New England buildings, the entrance is a little tight and has a few steps so it may be difficult for some people to enter. I look forward to visiting again!
