Crazy good food! This is a counter order place with delicious, healthy bowls with options like hatch chili farro, salmon, kale caesar loaded with cashews, herb brined chicken breast, falafel, umami broccoli... Just so many good choices! And then at the same time, they serve fried chicken and chicken sandwiches. And the prices are very reasonable. I got two sauces with my bowl and didn't end up using either because everything had so much good flavor (yep, brought those home). My sister and I showed up at lunch and got easy parking just on the other side of the street. We ordered at the counter and as it was our first time had a number of questions. The staff was super helpful and my food came out much quicker than I expected. They have lots of coffee and other specialty drinks but there's also water available in the counter area where you also get your silverware and napkins, a perfect arrangement for us heavy water drinkers The decor is funky and fun and definitely heavy on a chicken theme. I try out a lot of good places but this is at the top of my list of restaurants I need to return to soon. I was glad to see they have a total of four sites in different places and my sister who lives up in New Hampshire is hoping they will open one up there. read more

It was okay. Food was decent, but the service was completely discombobulated. Tried to order a fried chicken plate and had to go back and forth with the counter people to figure out what was available and what we could get. If they could smooth this out, we'd probably come back and give it another try. read more

Thought this place was really fire. The lady at the register was super friendly a d get some good food recommendations, even let you try a few of the prepared items. I had the chicken honey, which was excellent. Son had the chicken tenders which were very good. I also had some corn dish which was pretty great as well. Definetely will check again. read more

We ordered the small chicken tenders to test this place out and unfortunately they were disappointing. I got chips as a side and as I was picking out my bag of chips they already gave us our order of tenders. The employee mentioned the tenders had just come out of the fryer, but they certainly did not taste like they did. Pieces of the chicken tasted old and stale and my parter found a raw piece of chicken in one of their tenders. We didn't bother finishing our food and threw the rest out. I do want to note the potential of this place as the seasoning and breading of the chicken was good, but the quality and preparation is lacking consistency. read more

**We found our new favorite spot!** My partner and I stumbled upon Nan's Kitchen and what a delightful discovery it was! As first-timers, we were treated with such warmth and patience by the staff - no pressure, no rush, just genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. We started by sharing the hatch chili farro bowl with roasted cauliflower and hominy, fragrant ginger carrots, and lemon mustard salmon. The tomato harissa sauce and zhoug were absolutely incredible - seriously, these sauces are to die for! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were so well-balanced. Pictures are not perfect, but the lighting was so warm and comfortable, you will have to excuse them! Halfway through our meal, I spotted they had coconut carrot soup with chickpeas and ginger on the menu and literally ran back to order a cup. We ended up sharing that too, and it was such a smart move - the soup was aromatic and comforting with just the right amount of spice from the ginger. To drink, we had fresh lemonade and iced tea (both perfectly refreshing), and couldn't resist finishing with their banana pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. What really stood out beyond the exceptional food was how accommodating and friendly the service was. They made splitting dishes feel completely natural and were so welcoming when I dashed back for that soup! The attention to flavor and seasoning here is remarkable - every single component of our meal was thoughtfully prepared. We're already planning our next visit. Nan's Kitchen has absolutely earned a permanent spot on our regular rotation! Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared food with service that makes you feel like family. read more

Solid eatery with one of my favorite ever sandwiches. They have a great selection of unique and tasty sandwiches and sides, but their pesto chicken sandwich with artichoke is out of this world delicious. Highly recommend Nan's kitchen. read more

WOW!!! This chicken is no joke - It's some of the best chicken I've ever had...and I've eaten in the South - where they know chicken. We ordered the chicken sandwich and split it. (but got the sauce and cole slaw on the side - which I would recommend personally). The slaw was not good imo. I don't know if this batch was off, but a good slaw should be vinegar based...little bit of a sweet flavor to it - this tasted off...but since it was on the side, I just tried a few bites and then tossed it. The sauce is good-I think that is Thousand Island/Russian dressing-based and I like it-but since I brought it home we just put mayo on it and that is amazing! I think I saw smoky mayo as an option and we hope to eat in restaurant sometime and I will try it then and update our review. We also got a large chicken finger and split that. Two of us didn't need to eat all the chicken since we split the sandwich and weren't starving...I thought they gave us a fair amount of chicken...hope they don't change that. I think right now they are at a fair price point-not cheap but in line with what you would expect given the cost of food these days. Anyway, the chicken fingers are amazing. The best way I could describe it is if KFC original chicken and a fancier fried chicken place had a baby...that is the taste-refined but not so refined that people who like fast food won't like it. It's so tender it must be brined for awhile. 5-stars. Can't wait to try it for dinner with mashed and a biscuit. TLDR - Excellent chicken. Good Nan sauce. Not sure why honey mustard not an option for sauces for fingers. Pass on the slaw. read more

Great establishment! The chicken is fresh, and flavorful. The staff is personable and very professional. The manager Jordan has created a great dining experience whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. read more

Some of the best chicken I've had (tender, juicy, flavorful), and their sauce is also not here to play games. I ordered their bowl with spicy kale, carrots, and brussels with pesto and harissa - I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Also - their biscuits are crispy on the outside and squishy on the inside - how can you not??? read more

Nan's Kitchen has opened a location in Andover at the center of town. Nan's Kitchen has been a very popular farm to table eatery in Metrowest and North suburbs of Boston, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Their fried chicken sammies are their staple. They started out in Stow, and the place has really taken off with other locations in Southborough (former Wendy's) and Westford. They've also operated other restaurant concepts (Mediterranean, Mexican & Italian cuisines) in Sudbury. Recently, I decided to place an online order for breakfast pickup to the Nan's Kitchen in Andover since it's about 25 minutes from my place. The pickup time was quoted for 30 minutes, great timing. My food was bagged and ready in the quoted time when I walked in. There is table seating along the walls opposite the counter and prep kitchen. I ordered 3 items including the BYO Egg Breakfast Bowl with scrambled eggs, farmhouse potatoes, broccoli, North Country ham & a small cup of tzatziki sauce ($10.95 plus tax), Chicken & Biscuit ($4.25 plus tax), and Grilled Cinnamon Brioche ($2.95 plus tax). The breakfast bowl had filling a tasty ingredients and I grabbed some ketchup packets for the bowl. The Fried Chicken patty (very hot) with honey on the warm buttermilk biscuit was really great. The thick buttered grilled cinnamon brioche was warm, with soft texture and not too sweet. It wasn't messy at all. Overall, the breakfast food was very tasty and filling to eat. I will definitely come back here for their fried chicken sammies, homemade salads, soups, and banana pudding (grab & go). read more

First time here. So delicious. Got the Original Sammy and my wife got the Mr. Krispy. Both were great. Service was quick and the music rocked. We'll definitely be back. read more

Good sandwiches, great drinks, and a comfortable decor. Their staff was patient. We got their fried chicken sandwiches. The plant based fried "chicken" was good enough to make me doubt whether it was real or not! Do beware that their spiced sandwiches can be pretty spicy. read more

We've only done takeout from here, and have not been let down as service has been quick. It doesn't seem like a dine-in spot unless it's a quick stop. The food is a good balance of guilty pleasure fried chicken and making healthier side options flavorful. Although, I'd be remiss if I did not mention being disappointed to not see Mac and cheese offered as a side dish. read more

Loud can't hear when order is ready and end up getting it cold. A couple of decibels lower would make it bearable

Plant based Korean burger was not great. Soggy from the sauce and slaw, very spicy (to me!), and did not capture that burger mouth feel. Their specialty ice coffee is aight. Tastes watered down. REGARDLESS, ALL THE STARS IN THE WORLD for their drinks. The peach shaken ice tea and raspberry rose teas have every complex note they describe. I'm jaded by all the fruity drinks/tea blends out there that are just too sweet and artificial. Nan's makes it perfectly. The white peach actually shines through, which is rare in my experience. The raspberry is REAL. Speaking as someone who enjoys artificial raspberry flavors of jam donuts and bottled ice tea...idk if Nan's makes it for real, but, if so, you can taste it! You still taste the tea, the fruits, the florals, it's not watered down, and best of all--not overtly sweet. Their fruit drinks have the perfect balance. It's genuinely refreshing and delicious. I find myself craving their teas all the time!! read more

Wow! Delicious, affordable and healthy food. I ordered a crispy kale wrap and received much more - the wrap was filled with lots of tasty fresh vegetables, chick peas, soy chicken (for a vegetarian lover like me) and a delicious sauce. It was no wait, no hassle as the food is ordered at the counter for pick up. The counter staff was pleasant and helpful with the menu as I haphazardly came across Nan's. I'd like to go back and try their protein bowls. read more

Food amazing! Service is fantastic. Ambiance is nice! Love that food! The spicy chicken bowl goes so well with any of the delicious sides.

Went there yesterday and asked for the 2 piece chicken meal. I asked for a breast and thigh. Guy behind the counter says I can see what I have On Hand and give you that. Really?? Its a chicken spot. So,,,,,he gave me a 1/3 breast and a thigh. Sides are Meh at best and the chicken was Wayyyyy too salty. My girlfriend got a wrap and was equally as salty. Not going back. read more

Wow.. just wow Never in my entire life have I been blown away by such sheer enthusiasm by the employees and artfully crafted chicken sandwiches. The food was breathtaking and delectable. My taste buds were dancing in such an exquisite way, that has never been dreamt of in my entire life. Each detail was perfectly designed by god himself it seemed. The staff were also extremely helpful and nice. But wow oh wow the food just filled me up. I could've looked 9 months pregnant by the time I was done eating these delicious and tasty chicken sandwiches by how much I could consume. Thank you god for putting this eatery in my path and never again will I skip out on an amazing opportunity to dine here again! read more

Outstanding service. I didn't think to order until I was around the corner, so I arrived very early to pickup lunch. I expected to wait. They were very nice to get it out quicker even though I said it was no problem waiting. Someone from the kitchen came out to accommodate a food allergy I mentioned on the the order, offering ways to address that concern. From the first bite to the last, the chicken sandwich was delicious. It was a big portion. I'm already looking forward to going back. Many people were sitting inside, but there were tables available in the bright and clean dining area. The town has several benches around if you want to take it outside. read more

I love Nan's!!! They seriously know how to cook there. The food is yummy AND great quality. I currently have a cold and ordered a quart of their chicken dumpling soup and I think it may have cured me--it's literally perfect and just what I needed. Sometimes you order soup from places and it's mostly broth but they gave me a good amount of good quality chicken so I'm a happy girl! Also love their chicken sandwiches--great spot!! read more

Everything was SO good. Owners were super friendly and helpful answering questions about the menu. Loved it!!

We love this place and are so glad something like this came to Andover! We order from here pretty frequently, and everything we have tried so far has been super flavorful. I appreciate the mix of classic options and unique ones (the yuzu melon side is so good). read more

I love the plant based chicken option. I had original. I had it 3 weeks ago and I am still thinking about it. My teenagers and husband had chicken sandwiches and were very happy. The worst fried chicken I've ever had it was old or something then the steak was soaked in this oily sauce. Never go back there!!!

Easy access to farm-to-table food on a random weekday without having to dress up and make reservations... AND I can bring the kids after soccer practice??? UM... YES PLEASE! Finally, convenient access to healthy delicious food for the whole family. Definitely get the Potato and Sweet Pea Gratin as one of your sides!!! But honestly, everything is great. I've tried the chicken breast, flank steak, and salmon bowls with various different sides and sauces and all were amazing. The garlic tahini sauce is chef's kiss, loveee dipping the chicken, salmon, or steak in that, or the tzatziki. The best part is, I can eat healthy and grab something the kids like at the same place, they loved the chicken tenders! Nan's Kitchen is a GEM!!! read more
