**We found our new favorite spot!** My partner and I stumbled upon Nan's Kitchen and what a delightful discovery it was! As first-timers, we were treated with such warmth and patience by the staff - no pressure, no rush, just genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. We started by sharing the hatch chili farro bowl with roasted cauliflower and hominy, fragrant ginger carrots, and lemon mustard salmon. The tomato harissa sauce and zhoug were absolutely incredible - seriously, these sauces are to die for! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were so well-balanced. Pictures are not perfect, but the lighting was so warm and comfortable, you will have to excuse them! Halfway through our meal, I spotted they had coconut carrot soup with chickpeas and ginger on the menu and literally ran back to order a cup. We ended up sharing that too, and it was such a smart move - the soup was aromatic and comforting with just the right amount of spice from the ginger. To drink, we had fresh lemonade and iced tea (both perfectly refreshing), and couldn't resist finishing with their banana pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. What really stood out beyond the exceptional food was how accommodating and friendly the service was. They made splitting dishes feel completely natural and were so welcoming when I dashed back for that soup! The attention to flavor and seasoning here is remarkable - every single component of our meal was thoughtfully prepared. We're already planning our next visit. Nan's Kitchen has absolutely earned a permanent spot on our regular rotation! I ordered their bowl with spicy kale, carrots, and brussels with pesto and harissa - I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town. WOW!!! This chicken is no joke - It's some of the best chicken I've ever had...and I've eaten in the South - where they know chicken. We ordered the chicken sandwich and split it. (but got the sauce and cole slaw on the side - which I would recommend personally). The slaw was not good imo. I don't know if this batch was off, but a good slaw should be vinegar based...little bit of a sweet flavor to it - this tasted off...but since it was on the side, I just tried a few bites and then tossed it. The sauce is good-I think that is Thousand Island/Russian dressing-based and I like it-but since I brought it home we just put mayo on it and that is amazing! I think I saw smoky mayo as an option and we hope to eat in restaurant sometime and I will try it then and update our review. We also got a large chicken finger and split that. Two of us didn't need to eat all the chicken since we split the sandwich and weren't starving...I thought they gave us a fair amount of chicken...hope they don't change that. I think right now they are at a fair price point-not cheap but in line with what you would expect given the cost of food these days. Anyway, the chicken fingers are amazing. The best way I could describe it is if KFC original chicken and a fancier fried chicken place had a baby...that is the taste-refined but not so refined that people who like fast food won't like it. It's so tender it must be brined for awhile. 5-stars. Can't wait to try it for dinner with mashed and a biscuit. TLDR - Excellent chicken. Good Nan sauce. Plant based Korean burger was not great. Soggy from the sauce and slaw, very spicy (to me!), and did not capture that burger mouth feel. Their specialty ice coffee is aight. Tastes watered down. REGARDLESS, ALL THE STARS IN THE WORLD for their drinks. The peach shaken ice tea and raspberry rose teas have every complex note they describe. I'm jaded by all the fruity drinks/tea blends out there that are just too sweet and artificial. Nan's makes it perfectly. The white peach actually shines through, which is rare in my experience. The raspberry is REAL. Speaking as someone who enjoys artificial raspberry flavors of jam donuts and bottled ice tea...idk if Nan's makes it for real, but, if so, you can taste it! You still taste the tea, the fruits, the florals, it's not watered down, and best of all--not overtly sweet. Their fruit drinks have the perfect balance. It's genuinely refreshing and delicious. Nan's Kitchen has opened a location in Andover at the center of town. Nan's Kitchen has been a very popular farm to table eatery in Metrowest and North suburbs of Boston, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Their fried chicken sammies are their staple. They started out in Stow, and the place has really taken off with other locations in Southborough (former Wendy's) and Westford. They've also operated other restaurant concepts (Mediterranean, Mexican & Italian cuisines) in Sudbury. Recently, I decided to place an online order for breakfast pickup to the Nan's Kitchen in Andover since it's about 25 minutes from my place. The pickup time was quoted for 30 minutes, great timing. My food was bagged and ready in the quoted time when I walked in. There is table seating along the walls opposite the counter and prep kitchen. I ordered 3 items including the BYO Egg Breakfast Bowl with scrambled eggs, farmhouse potatoes, broccoli, North Country ham & a small cup of tzatziki sauce ($10.95 plus tax), Chicken & Biscuit ($4.25 plus tax), and Grilled Cinnamon Brioche ($2.95 plus tax). The breakfast bowl had filling a tasty ingredients and I grabbed some ketchup packets for the bowl. The Fried Chicken patty (very hot) with honey on the warm buttermilk biscuit was really great. The thick buttered grilled cinnamon brioche was warm, with soft texture and not too sweet. It wasn't messy at all. Overall, the breakfast food was very tasty and filling to eat. I will definitely come back here for their fried chicken sammies, homemade salads, soups, and banana pudding (grab & go). read more

The food is a good balance of guilty pleasure fried chicken and making healthier side options flavorful. Wow! Delicious, affordable and healthy food. I ordered a crispy kale wrap and received much more - the wrap was filled with lots of tasty fresh vegetables, chick peas, soy chicken (for a vegetarian lover like me) and a delicious sauce. Went there yesterday and asked for the 2 piece chicken meal. I asked for a breast and thigh. Guy behind the counter says I can see what I have On Hand and give you that. Really?? Its a chicken spot. Wow.. just wow Never in my entire life have I been blown away by such sheer enthusiasm by the employees and artfully crafted chicken sandwiches. The food was breathtaking and delectable. My taste buds were dancing in such an exquisite way, that has never been dreamt of in my entire life. Each detail was perfectly designed by god himself it seemed. Outstanding service. I didn't think to order until I was around the corner, so I arrived very early to pickup lunch. I expected to wait. They were very nice to get it out quicker even though I said it was no problem waiting. Someone from the kitchen came out to accommodate a food allergy I mentioned on the the order, offering ways to address that concern. From the first bite to the last, the chicken sandwich was delicious. It was a big portion. I'm already looking forward to going back. I currently have a cold and ordered a quart of their chicken dumpling soup and I think it may have cured me--it's literally perfect and just what I needed. Easy access to farm-to-table food on a random weekday without having to dress up and make reservations... AND I can bring the kids after soccer practice??? UM... YES PLEASE! Finally, convenient access to healthy delicious food for the whole family. Definitely get the Potato and Sweet Pea Gratin as one of your sides!!! But honestly, everything is great. I've tried the chicken breast, flank steak, and salmon bowls with various different sides and sauces and all were amazing. The garlic tahini sauce is chef's kiss, loveee dipping the chicken, salmon, or steak in that, or the tzatziki.
