Unfortunately, my experience tonight was incredibly disappointing. The service at the bar was poor. Although there were other guests there--many of whom appeared to be regulars--the bartender spent most of his time chatting with them and largely ignored me. I had to ask three separate times before I finally received service. When my meal arrived, it was nowhere near the quality or portion I have come to expect. The Mixed Grill, which has always included generous portions of lamb, chicken, and shrimp, consisted almost entirely of chicken, with only about two small pieces of lamb and a single shrimp. It was a dramatic difference from what has been served for years. I politely mentioned this to the bartender, and his response was simply, "Tough times, less food." I found that response both dismissive and disappointing. If portions have been reduced, customers should not be paying the same premium prices without any acknowledgment. After years of consistently great meals, this was genuinely sad to experience. Spending nearly $75 on a meal that felt significantly diminished in both quality and value is hard to justify. Because of my long history with this restaurant, I may give it one more chance, but based on this visit, I cannot recommend it. It was a very disappointing experience from both a service and food standpoint.

One day, while I was in Salem, New Hampshire, I discovered Kashmir Indian Cuisine, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I visited the restaurant with a group of friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tandoori specialties. The Chicken Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kabab, Tandoori Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Tandoori Roti were all cooked to perfection. We also tried the Haddock Pakora as an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Other favorites included the Chicken Saag, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Aloo Gobi. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with authentic North Indian spices. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the warm hospitality. The owner and the entire staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making every guest feel welcome. I was so impressed that I later hired Kashmir Indian Cuisine to cater my daughter's engagement celebration. The food was exceptional, and every guest complimented the quality, taste, and beautiful presentation. Their catering helped make our special occasion even more memorable. If you truly enjoy authentic North Indian cuisine, I highly recommend giving Kashmir Indian Cuisine a try. Make the drive just once, and I'm confident you'll enjoy the experience as much as I did. Usually it is not a problem, but I have had instances there the receipt said NO Hamburg, yet it had Hamburg - I lived with it but the taste is different. Last month I ordered my usual and she asked instead of Hamburg, would I like something else in place of it? I asked if there was an extra charge and that was a No, so yes, I would like black olives. No problem, pizza cost the same. Today, knowing that I could get olives vs. Hamburg, I ordered the same thing and asked for the substitution. Not a problem, but the cost was more than usual - and I noted that and he said that they price had gone up. When I got home, I can see that I was charged for the Olives (there was no hamburg, so they got that right). So this time I was charged. I dont want to have to keep asking whether I will get charged for that change. The Hamburg costs more than the Olives...I had been ordering the Deluxe w/o Hamburg for years and was thrilled I could get Olives instead. The price of the pizza, with this change, has gotten to be too high and I resent the fact that I have to pay more at times depending on who takes the order. So I will be getting my pizzas now from two diff place in Methuen, which is actually far closer than driving up into NH for a pizza. :-(

At least 20 packages of ketchup thrown on top of the food in a crappy pizza box ..quite the presentation..really 20.00 for this ? Main parking lot is shared but we parked on the side of the building at their additional lot. Place is lively with people enjoying their food and chatting. We love their sushi and sashimi combo for two so we went back for more. We started with both miso soup and salad included. That was followed by a dragon figure with our meal. Look at the size of the sashimi pieces. It is always fresh and delicious fish. And of course we will he back!

Our friendly server greeted us right away, took our drink order and then took our meal order when she brought our drinks within a few minutes of being seated. It was hard to decide what to get but my friend got the Irish Benny and I got the very generous sized special French toast that was listed that day with a delicious whipped cream topping and strawberries. Both were ample portions, cooked to perfection, very tasty, and arrived pretty quickly especially considering how busy they were! This was my 2nd visit and I will definitely make this a favorite destination having moved to Salem recently! I just wish I had remembered to take photos to share!
