Usually go to T- Bones once a month and never had a bad meal at the old one. This was my first time at the new one and it was pack. Ordered the T-Bone for the main course it wasn't that good. New place is bigger but more corporate. Not as warm as the old place. Bar (the biggest revenue generator for any restaurant) is actually 2 seats less than the old place. Ummmm....ok... Went for a birthday lunch at 1 pm on Sunday - took an hour and 20 minutes to get our food - WTF?? Went last night to the bar and ordered some apps - 45 minutes - guys, seriously wtf. The turnaround time on orders is broken and people are going to put up with the slow service. You have the new place initial honeymoon, but if you keep this up you're screwed. Been a regular for 22 years and visited 2-3 times / week. Might be once every 2 weeks now. Need to focus on getting orders out faster or people won't put up with that for long. read more

Third time's the charm? Hmm.... no. More like Strike 3. Third and last time going to T-Bones. I still don't get it: why is this place so packed on a Wednesday night?!? Food is expensive, portions are small, menu is somewhat limited. We had "Charlie's Broiled Haddock": Good but they should rename it "Charlie's Broiled Half Haddock". Tiny little piece of fish swimming in butter. 4-5 pieces of broccoli, little bit of rice. $18.99. Also had the "Pineapple Pico Fish Tacos". Those we good, but there's only two tacos, a little bit of rice, $18.99. No! Rice wasn't really good. A beer for $8.49? Hell no. Service was 'average'. I've been up and awake all night. Food was so hard to digest. Even after the $25 gift card, the remainder was STILL more than what we pay for better food elsewhere. (ie, Cracker Barrel, Chili's, Applebee's). So no, we're done with T-Bones. Given how packed this place is, I'm sure they'll continue to do very well even without us. read more

I never complain but I feel as though I must provide constructive feedback. The last 2 times eating at TBones I left extremely disappointed in the lack of turkey provided in their hot turkey dinner. I have been a regular customer of TBones for more than 10 years and the turkey dinner is my favorite dish I always order but for $24.95 you would think they would provide substantialy more turkey. This seems to be a recent trend, the majority of times the portions were fine but the last two times the turkey was skimpy. It appeared as though the turkey was garnished on top of the stuffing, broken up in small little pieces and scattered on top of the stuffing. Personable service, slow time to meal, acceptable food! We visited T-Bones for a friends birthday and made what I thought was a simple order. The Swordfish Special, the Korean Lettuce Wraps, and Chicken Wings. My server was helpful, he as well as the busser kept my water full and he kept bothering the bar asking for updates on my guests' drink order. The restaurant was full, but it didn't seem unreasonably busy and wasn't very loud at all. Certainly not so busy to cause an hour~ wait for our food after initial order. I do not fault my server for the kitchen's slowness. My Korean Lettuce Wraps were good, as were the chicken wings. Not overcooked at all. The Swordfish certainly looked overcooked and was an exceptionally small portion. I have other favorites in the area that I will frequent for certain and will only stop here if I'm hungry and can't travel 5 minutes away. read more

It's been probably 20 years since I've been to T-bones. Not by choice I just don't live in the area anymore. I was up in NH this weekend visiting my mom's neigh and she treated my husband and I to dinner at T-bones. I started with the French onion soup which was my all time favorite as a child. It did not disappoint. The best French onion I have had in a long time. I ordered the BBQ steak tips with Mac n cheese and broccoli. The tips were amazing and that was really awesome mac. My husband got the T-bone steak with a potato and broccoli and he said everything was great. I was impressed with the thickness of the steak. It was a chonger but he ate it all! My mom got the stuffed baked haddock with a baked potato and extra extra butter. She loved It. Service was awesome. Our Server was Bobby. He was very personable and even brought my mom extra butter for her extra extra butter which made her day. He was a great server. Attentive and knowledgeable on the menu! When Bobby came to the table, I recognized him from elementary school. I didn't want to be weird and mention it but it was nice to see him doing well. Thanks for the great food and service! This restaurant has ample parking and it's shared with other businesses. I came here yesterday during lunch around 1pm and it wasn't too packed. It took awhile for somebody to greet us so we just decided to sit at the bar. Once seated it took another 10 min to get a menu and ask us what we wanted to drink. I know places get busy and what not but not to be greeted isn't the business. Anyhoo ordered a beer and got their lunch special which was a steak fajita roll up. Steak Fajita- The steak was pretty good but they put too much sauce inside the roll up and also not enough meat. It was more or so veggies and a tortilla than a steak fajita. Ask a teenager where they'd like to go for their 15th birthday, they give you the name of this place. My initial thought? "Simple, yet acceptable." Yeah, my son has good taste sometimes. Since the lack of burger photos alarmed me, please allow this review with accompanying photo to serve as a remedy to that apparent void. It tasted fine, btw. Good charred sear, perfect medium temp, chalk full of flavor. Not the best, but far from bad. 8 out of 10, can't be a simple cheddar burger. We also ordered a different appetizer for once. Though....I wish I had remembered to take a photo of them as well: the bacon cheddar fries. Not really fries at all, these thick potato slices covered in seasonings and cheddar cheese were surprisingly delightful. The sour cream is a personal favorite addition. Put a little on top and you have quite the delectation, IMHO. Only problem is...this thing is WAY too big! Like, it's an appetizer that could easily satisfy up to 6 persons. Sadly, we couldn't finish it. 7 out of 10, be sure to bring a football team with you to help finish these. Sunday lunch we met up with another couple. Arrived early and were seated quickly even though we were only half of the party. A hostess brought four menus for the table, plus the Specials and drinks menus. Our waitress came over quickly and we ordered drinks. I would have ordered an app when she returned with our beverages (I was *so hungry!) but every one of the appetizers available include foods that I can not eat. Sad for me. The other half of the party arrived, and our waitress was right on it, taking their drink order. Our booth was big enough for four adults, but just. The seats are higher than most booth seating and took a second to adjust to the unexpected height. There definitely was not enough space for four adults and four winter coats. Coat hooks are available by the waiting/hostess area, but as that wasn't close to us, we just sat on them. The table and booth seat were both clean. There is a lamp affixed to the table top, and a table 'tent' advertising desserts and drinks. With four adults and all their food and drinks these two items were cluttering up the space. The menu has a wide variety of food items. Soup, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, steaks. I ordered a Greek salad with steak which came to just under twenty dollars. The waitress asked how I would like my steak cooked. The menu doesn't specify it, but the 'steak' is marinated steak tips which I would not have chosen had I known. They are a bit sweet and a bit fatty. The vegetables in the salad were fresh. Nothing was wilted or off color. The salad as a meal was 'just enough' for lunch and if I had a larger appetite, this definitely would not be enough food. The bowl was a good size, but the lettuce and such is spread out so it looks like more than it is. I know prices are going up and I can only hope they are paying their staff well, so I'm not complaining, just letting you know, if you have a big appetite, get an app and maybe some soup with your salad. Also, it comes with a slice of pita bread which I did not eat and would probably help fill you up. They have their own beer brand which the gents at our table said were good. The ladies chose from the limited wine selection. They do have a number of interesting cocktail options and as those cost the same as a glass of wine, you might as well go for the cocktail. More bang for your buck. I did not sample the other meals which were the maple bacon fish special, a Rueben and a steak sandwich. Everyone said their food was good. Everything appeared fresh and the service was very good with our waitress checking on us several times throughout our visit. There is a good sized parking lot out front. No one was wearing a mask and there is no sign on the door asking you to do so. Wait to be seated, even in the bar area. Reservations wouldn't be a bad idea as they were rather busy and I did see a few folks having to wait. read more

My first review of this place after my second visit. Here is what I liked: 1. Good feed menu: I ordered the 25 oz steak and it was a perfect cut of meat cooked to perfection, medium rare. My mother ordered the haddock which she said is hard to find on menus these days. 2. A great bar: cozy full bar with 360oC seating. A great craft beer selection with loads of taps. The reason for the lower score was service. 1. Our waitress seemed to have forgotten our drink order during a time the place was not busy. That is a person-centric observation but it took away from the experience. 2. Our salad was served alongside our main dishes. Again, this is not the end of the world, and might have been another Server-Centric example. However to the extent it reflects lack of kitchen coordination, I thought it was worth noting. If I could give zero Stars I would. I had the worst experience of my entire life at this restaurant. There were three of us at dinner, it took 55 minutes to be seated. Once the order was placed, it was over an hour and still no food had been brought to the table. I informed the server who had not checked on us even once that my husband works third shift and that we needed to have the food packaged as takeout. Then the shift supervisor or manager came over to the table said that the food was almost ready and did we want to try and eat it at the restaurant. I said no once again I explained that my husband works third shift and needed to go to bed not that that was any of his business. The food was brought to the table but not the entire order was there. Now I am not so naive as to believe that something wasn't done to the food, so we left the bag of food outside the restaurant door and let everybody that was walking into the restaurant no they should go someplace else. I have never had a worse experience in a restaurant in my entire life and I've lived for over 50 years. I highly recommend that nobody go back to this restaurant. read more

Stopped in on a rainy weekend afternoon with Ward. PRO - The Turkey dinner is really good. On a cool July afternoon is really hit the spot. Real turkey (not that deli crap) w/gravy over stuffing with mashed potatoes & gravy. Perfect comfort food. Ward enjoyed the Fish Tacos with big chunks of fresh looking veggies & average sweet potato fries Drinks menu is good, varied with some nice specials. Service was fine too, our young waitress was very kind. CON - The fish chowder was lousy. The large chunks of potato were overruled by the gluey broth, with one piece of actual fish & a couple pieces of "langastino" s fake crabmeat. Not worth it. Oh & they changed their bread to a dark bread with no flavor. No thanks. SO - While T-Bones will never be mistaken for a place with gourmet food, it's a comfortable place to get a decent meal at a decent price. You can see why it's always busy. read more

It is really to bad we did not like the food again. I ordered Espinaca cheese with chips. I used to love it. Now it is so thick you have to use a spoon. It had clumps of cheese in it. Like not melted cream cheese. Guess what? It was. Who does that. Please go back to your old recipe. This did not even taste like Espinaca. You also should bring back the appetizer platter once you fix the Espinaca. We used to go here often. I really am not impressed. Doubt I will be back. My roommate got the cornflake tenders. One thing T-bones has the lock on is consistency. The food is not the cheapest but is better than average and you always know what you will get. We have been here many times but if this was the first time we came, we would not be going back. We got an order to take home, so I understand it's not going to be hot out of the oven by the time we get home, but we live about 5 minutes away and our meals were not even warm. My husband got the fish and chips and ended up with potato slices that were very thick, burnt, and greasy. The breading on the fish was also mushy. My son and I got hamburgers, both ordered well done - mine was quite pink in the middle and his was slightly pink. My son also had the kids meal which was missing the cookie and drink to go along with it. We were also told that our order would be only 25 minutes for the wait and we ended up waiting an extra 10 minutes for it which would've been fine if everything was right and good. This was so disappointing for us since we know the food is typically good which is why we keep going back. read more

The lady who took our order to go said she loves it and it is so good that we will come back for more. And she was right!!!! We ordered one slice to go to eat in the car and 2 minutes later I was back at the restaurant getting another piece to go. My oh my!!! If you a chocolate cake/mouse/ or anything chocolate lover, you HAVE TO try their dessert. My husband and I sometimes drive out of our way just to eat the dessert here. I go to T Bones quite a bit for my prime rib. I called yesterday just to order a couple of orders of mashed potatoes. The girl that answered the phone was very rude to me. Apparently, she never heard of anyone ordering just mashed potatoes and said she didn't think she could put the order in because I wasn't ordering anything to go with it. I explained that I already had dinner but wanted T Bones mashed potatoes to go with it. Once again she was pretty insistent that I order more stuff. I think it will be a while before I go back there. Hopefully, she will have quit by then. I'll miss my prime rib but other places have it. read more

Visited tonight & it was a slower evening in the restaurant. My friend & I were seated with Josh & he couldn't have been more friendly! We expressed we needed a little more time to order & he never once made us feel rushed. He allowed us to chat, order as we were ready & was the perfect level of attentive. We each had the special lemonade cocktail, my friend with Tito's, mine with Milagro tequila & they were perfect! We ordered the espinaca dip & it was delivered quickly. Josh offered us some more chips when we were running low & our dinners followed quickly after. I had the crispy chicken salad (always a personal fave) and my friend had the fish tacos. Went for a late lunch today with my wife. First time we had been in many years. We ordered the Jerk wings from the lunch specials menu. The menu said 1/2 pound of wings, fries, bread (the bread was like garlic bread, toasted with spice) and coleslaw. Asked if we could make a substitution for the fries that would be same price. Waitress said we could and decided on the baked potato and my wife requested it loaded. Waitress said okay. We decide to start with this and see how it would be. It came out quickly. The wings where okay but there was no way there was a 1/2 pound. There were 5 pieces of chicken, one drum and 4 of the lesser 'wings'. The toast tips were very salty, too salty in fact. We never got the coleslaw. The 'loaded' baked potato had a tiny amount of melted cheese , some sour cream and chives. When the bill came, I pointed out that the charge for the lunch special was $19.99 not the $14.99 menu price. I pointed it out to the waitress and she said that she would check it out. When she returned, she said that the EXTRA $5.00 was for the 'loaded' baked potato. First of all, when we ordered we asked specifically if we could substitute at no additional cost. Why can't a waitress tell you if something costs more when you ask for what's included at the same cost? How difficult would that be? Beside the fact that there is absolutely no justification for charging $5.00 stinking dollars for a few shreds of cheese. She ended up taking the charge off. To top it off, $6.99 for a 16 oz. Coors Light draft and $7.49 for a 22 oz. is absurd. Not a happy camper. read more
