I am in a wheelchair and the staff must have seen us coming as ChrisAnn (unsure of spelling) greeted us and assisted us (husband and I) with the doors (which are not automatic) and, as we entered, stated that she already set us up at the first table, which I found to be above and beyond the typical service of any establishment. The menus were already at the table and a chair removed, to make space for my wheelchair. Both of us ordered the steak tips and eggs, which we both enjoyed, cooked exactly as ordered, and as tasty as one can expect. Husband had his with hash browns (?) [pan-fried potato chunks] & toast; mine with grilled English muffin and a side of baked beans. What I really like was the plating, such that none of the food items ran together, that is, the beans were in a small dish separate from the eggs and English and the steak was on a separate small plate, making it easier to cut (without bumping up against other foods). When our son was a young child, we referred to this as "no-touch-atarian" as he really disliked his foods touching one another. Now, some 30+ years later, I have to agree that some food items are just best as stand-alone items. I would have given a full 5 star rating except that I tend to be slightly more critical with my assessments as they relate to accessibility. The parking lot could use a repainting as the lines and handicapped parking symbols were barely visible. They have a ramp to the entrance but, without automatic doors, it can cause difficulties at the top as there is no level area at the top to allow one to stop and prevent the chair from rolling backwards to allow one to open the door. I have a care giver that gets me in and out, so it is not a huge barrier for me personally but I can see it being difficult for more independent wheelchair users. Access to the restroom is a bit awkward but not impossible And the staff helped with that as well.

I stopped by Augusta's Tyngsboro for takeout recently. The place has been very busy and have been selling out of food during the grand opening weekend. I was going to order a Large Tuna Sub, but they ran out of large sub rolls and paninis were not yet available. I ordered the 15 Pc Chicken Bites ($16.25 plus tax) which includes choice of 2 dipping sauces. My order was ready fairly quick (under 5 minutes) and I paid for my order at the register near the front doors. I enjoyed the Chicken Bites in the restaurant which offers ample table seating. The Chicken Bites were very tender & hot, coated with a light crispy breading, not too greasy. The Boom Boom sauce and the Marinara sauce were good choices for dipping the chicken bites into. I really enjoyed the Chicken Bites here along my chosen dipping sauces. I will definitely come back here for one of their large subs (tuna or meatball) and the salad bar ($10.99 per pound in 2025).

UPDATE: I tried the Steak and cheese again. Firstly, I called in my order and the girl that answered the phone was distracted and laughing- couldn't get my name right. I almost felt like she was doing it on purpose. She kept calling me jack and my name sounds nothing like that. She kept giggling. The sub was expensive, top dollar for a sub, even compared to downtown Boston. I opened up the sub and to my surprise- it wasn't cut in half and I was on the road with no knife. Imagine eating a large sub in it's entirety instead of a manageable half. Now imagine a complete large sub that's bending while you hold it and as you are trying to bite it cleanly the steak has not been completely chopped up and it's got chewy gristle pieces that pull more steak out of the sub as you are eating it. The steak was low quality with gristly strings that chewed like bubblegum. I asked for extra cheese- totally dry on the top with some cheese on the bun side. The key to a perfect steak and cheese is the cheese distribution and tender steak without any gristly bits. This $18+ sub was a complete failure. Overall, I will not be visiting again. This place has low standards for their food and their employees but they charge top dollar. Poor leadership really shines through here. You can let a bunch of kids horse around in your sub shop but sooner or later it will cost the owners their business. They got to have fun and laugh but in the end the owners will cry. I really wanted to like this place, it reminded me of the good days when food was delicious and real but alas, the good old days are gone and they are never coming back. Everything has been cheapened to the max and profits are maximized.
