This is the best bagel shop!!!! My boyfriend and I have been going here almost every Sunday since we discovered it last September. The bagels/sandwiches are always top tier because they make all of them in shop. Also the staff is so so kind and friendly. "What a Bagel", huh? My ass! Ya know how they say first impressions are the lasting ones? Well, I'll never forget my first impression with my bagel sandwich today. Put it this way: that bagel was so pale, I wanted to book it a flight to the Florida keys so it could get a proper tan. Seriously, it almost looked raw. Tasted like it, too. The innards were....alright, I guess. Making the whole thing technically edible isn't much to write home about, however. 2 out of 10; couldn't even finish the damn thing. Honestly, the French cappuccino was the best part of the whole meal. One minor problem though....the little stirry stick thingie that goes in your coffee? Yeah, the....uh.....tip broke off. Like...INTO the coffee somewhere. And no, I didn't swallow it because I never even got to the bottom of the cup anyway. Should have ordered a small. Nevertheless, coffee was good. 7 out of 10. I ordered delivery, hence no check in. But I sincerely doubt I will ever again. This place is bland and uninspired. To think....such a place can even function in the midst of New England. This place was cute for sure. They had super friendly staff and were prompt with our order. They have a decent selection of bagels, including a rainbow one which is always cute! The bagels and coffee were just okay. I ordered a large pumpkin iced coffee with my bagel and it was clear when I drank it that it was hot coffee just poured over ice, so it didn't taste very good and I wound up throwing more than half of it out. I tried What a Bagel today for the first time, and I am so glad I did! I got the Texan breakfast sandwich and my husband got bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin. My breakfast sandwich was a generous portion size, and had a variety of taste and spice that made it delicious. My husband, who admits to being a very picky eater (especially with breakfast foods!) raved about his meal as well. What happened! I think there is new ownership. Absolutely awful! Went in for bagels and came out with inedible food. Asiago bagel is a pile of fake crap shoved in the middle and probably microwaved to "melt". The cheddar bacon(pictured) what the heck is that! It literally came off in one piece - tried to melt it back on top and the cheese was smoking and wouldn't melt - smelt like burning plastic! Rainbow bagels were definitely a few days old - crusty and hard. I am not sure what kind of management would approve this crap to be served to customers. Clearly the locals don't know what a good bagel tastes like. On a Saturday morn the bagels were hard and very light colored. Not undercooked but no crisp on the outside. They do not carry Swiss cheese??!!?? What's that about? And the eggs on the sandwich were cold. They don't even wrap an egg sandwich in foil. Went for the first time and last time. Ordered a latte but there is no machine for that. Wanted the wifi password (free wifi sticker on their door) but they said the wifi interferred with their cash register. Overheard a customer telling them about Butter N Jam, which they have never heard of. How can they not keep up with local competition? Other customers ordered off of the blackboard menu. Many were told they were out of certain things. It was pretty early in the morning to run out of things, considering the place was dead. The 2 people behind the counter were rather clueless in general. Don't know if they worked there or are the owners, but in either case, I don't see this operation lasting very long. It's a shame because it's in a good location with all of the auto repair shops in the area. If it was my place, I'd make a deal with all of them to send customers my way. read more

These bagels are real New York bagels. Too many bagels are not proofed properly (in water with a natural sweetener for the proper duration) making them more like round rolls (too big and too soft). Great staff, great food! Atmosphere is really nice and parking is easy. My wife had the Southern 2 on a rainbow bagel and I had the Southern 2 on a pretzel bagel-also had a cold brew and a muffin. Not only is all the food tasty and delicious, but our dozen bagels even came freshly made and still warm!! The coffee was a treat and my husband DEVOURED his BLT on a Bacon Cheddar bagel. New owner at the end of winter (Feb 2019 ish) and what a difference! Earlier hours and actually open on time every day! Same great counter girl who was always friendly and did the best she could with what she had to work with. Improved bagels and some little touch ups around the place to make it all that much better. This newly opened bagel joint has replaced bagel alley as Nashua's best bagel spot. We tried it one snowy morning and it took the crown from bagel alley easily. Deliciously fresh bagels and excellent breakfast sandwich combinations that are made on one of their 20+ flavors of bagel. High recommend if you're looking for a quick breakfast spot. Seems that more and more people are finding out about this place as it's been busier every time we go. We're still always able to get a table when we choose to stay and eat couldn't say the same at BA. Would highly recommend the jalapeño cheddar bagel, or everything bagel! read more
