We stopped in for breakfast for the first time today at the Temple Street Diner and we will definitely be back! Everything we ordered came quickly, hot, and delicious. We were also very impressed with our waitress who appeared to be the only waitress. She was serving the entire restaurant and yet still managed to be up beat and attentive to every customer! Had a delicious lobster roll, while my family members opted for hotdogs. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Our server was very friendly.

Everything the food tge coffee was so bad , what happen to this place I use yo go here awhile back but now close it down that's how bad the food, the cook doesn't how to cook eggs over easy the sausage are frozen called brown n server , the guy that cooks bacon doesn't start till 8 am they list the toast but don't have any sough dough it's only Tuesday your bread delivery sucks , the coffee was so strong no cream or sugar was enough to help it .this use to a great place for breakfast now I'll never ho there again not even for lunch . read more

We had a very poor meal at the Temple Street Diner yesterday. My dining partner and I both ordered the 8 ounce fried clams with fries at $25.99 each plate. The clams looked great when they arrived, but they were not. Each of us found most of them were what I call rubber bands, so chewy that we both had to take remains out of our mouths on numerous occasions. I had two that were very nice but the rest were not good. My partner couldn't even finish hers. Upon reporting the problem to the server we were told that that is unusual, they're normally not that way. She apologized. There was no offer of reducing the charges even though the chewed remains of many clams were evident on the plates. We were unhappy about that, but paid for the meal, including tip, and left, wondering whether we'd return. Upon reviewing the credit card slip later I found that there was a charge for using a credit card! That's pretty sad that a business would apply a fee for using a credit card for a purchase of over $50, even sadder that we were not told there would be a surcharge when we tendered the card. Easy decision to make now, we will never go back despite how much we've enjoyed their lobster rolls in the past. My tip: always ask before you order whether you will be charged extra if you use a credit card in this restaurant. read more

Wifey picked it out from online and when we got there I was like oh oh !! A bit on the old a dirty side but it's a diner but has no real atmosphere or theme . I did not know about this place until a few weeks ago and I love it staff makes you feel special. Always making sure that your food is cooked properly and filling up your cup of coffee. Lady in back sorry forgot her name cooks your eggs perfectly. read more

What a nice surprise. Went to visit a friend and decided to go to eat. Got here about 1pm Saturday. They close at 3 He knew of this place but had never been. He had pancakes. Light fluffy and loaded with strawberries and bananas with whipped cream. I had two eggs hash and beans( homemade mind you ) and my mate has the seafood chowder ( with big hunks of lobster!) and a half chicken sandwich. Soooo good. We will def be back. Lobster Roll!!! We were at the beach last weekend and my hubby had a lobster roll from the top rated quick bite restaurant. This weekend I ordered him a 10 oz lobster roll from Temple Street!! Number 1, never order the 10 oz unless there is more than one person eating it. He will finish it tomorrow. Number 2, he said it "Blows away" the one he had from the beach!!! We went to this diner on our first morning in Nashua. Disappointed with the service & some of the food that was served. My husband ordered eggs & bacon & his bacon literally came out just about raw & all fat. My toast was burnt. Our waitress had her mask below her nose the whole time & never once came back & asked how everything was. My husband asked for hot sauce for his eggs which he never got & I had to ask another waitress for a new side of bacon. I wouldn't go here again unless there were no other options. Maybe they were having an off day but I don't think I'd go here again. read more

The best lobster roll around. They have different sizes. I got the 10 oz roll. It was huge. Better than going to the beach for seafood. Not a lot of mayo and the give you melted butter on the side if you want. It comes with French fries. They were nice and hot and crispy. I definatly recommend The Temple Street Diner. read more

We visited Temple Street dinner for a Friday lunch. I had heard it was a great breakfast place. But after seeing some lobster roll pictures on Yelp decided to give it a try. First impressions: This place is a diner thru and thru. Now that's not a bad thing but sets expectations as such. We were immediately greeted by a welcoming server that was super the whole visit. I tried the 10oz lobster roll and it was huge. A fork is a must. Meat was a nice combo of claw and tail and the Mayo amount was perfect. The side slaw was great also. Wife tried the haddock sandwich and we split a great seafood chowder. Highly recommend the chowder. The fish sandwich was good but my wife would have preferred the fish baked. The place feels like that request would be a possibility. The portions of all the dishes are more than ample and seeing other dishes coming from the kitchen were impressive. The location takes you off the highway a bit, but in the Nashua area it's convenient. I wish I could give a 3.5 or a bit higher. We will be back to try the breakfast! read more

My son introduced me to the Temple Street Diner one day for breakfast. We have returned for breakfast there a couple of times and have had several takeout lunches. The breakfast was spot on and I've enjoyed it each time. The coffee isn't that great so I'd recommend skipping that. The times we've had takeout lunches the servings were huge (and I'm not a small person) and the food was great. It was trying their lobster roll yesterday that prompted me to write this review. I was a little apprehensive about trying it but proceeded due to my wife's encouragement. When picking it up I asked about it. The chef said that I would love it as she'd been making it the same way for 19 years and it is very popular. I've had the colossal lobster roll at the 99 and there is nothing colossal about it. Temple Street Diner's lobster roll is COLOSSAL. My wife handed me the container and when I opened it I asked her if it came with a fork. The flavor was great and I will be having it again. The last few visits have not been happy ones. I don't know if it is the time of day we visit, which has been around 1pm, or what, but the food has been disappointing if it was not breakfast fair. The 7oz lobster rolls arrived with nothing on the roll but lobster meat which had the texture of frozen lobster. No mayo to give it some taste. We asked for an order of fries to go with them because we had taken cole slaw as our one side. No fries ever came. A haddock sandwich came with a long skinny piece of fish and no lettuce or tomato or mayo on the bun. The sweet potato fries where bits and pieces not one fry was long than an inch! A 12oz plastic cup of Pepsi was $3! I doubt we'll be going back. read more

You can't handle another person's food while breathing on it open mouthed during a viral pandemic!! I could hear the chefs in the back coughing up a storm and they weren't wearing masks either!
