Same excellent service and fun, quirky decor, but the menu downsizing/revamp left us disappointed. There's definitely a larger focus on the adult beverages (drinks get their own, large menu/book). The food menu looks more serious. Favorites such as the cookie monster pancakes, pastrami sandwich, rice rice baby bowl, and more are gone. Yesssss! For some reason our corner of Massachusetts has a total lack of of good brunch options. We went with friends on Christmas Eve and it was honestly the perfect way to begin a hectic day. If the staff weren't thrilled to be working on the holiday, you couldn't tell at all (and also no shade if they were- working the holidays is rough). Every person we encountered was absolutely delightful and made us feel right at home. The food was great- my son loved his pancake and the adults all really enjoyed our entrees too. It was also a very good portion size, more than enough to feel satisfied. And the fries deserve their own mention! They were perfectly fried - wonderfully crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned beautifully. Just excellent all around. My friend was equally thrilled with her meal. It's always a great sign when everyone at the table is equally impressed with their food choices. The inside of this restaurant was so fun! Loved the cute base counter lamps. The menu was fun lots of choices I did however wanted a little more green choices. Anyways part of six, we had lunch reservations on Monday. No wait so sat down easily, server was sweet and quick. The cinnamon toast iced coffee was not sweet which was fine by me. I just got off a 6 hours flight and my stomach was still not in the time zone but the rice bowl dish was so comforting. Delicious and spicy. read more

This morning, our family visited The Friendly Toast for brunch, which was delicious. During our meal, an elderly member of our group nearly lost consciousness, and what could have been a frightening situation was met with immediate, compassionate care from your team. Albert, Becky, Courtney, and others whose names I unfortunately didn't catch responded quickly, calmly, and with genuine kindness. Most importantly, they handled the situation in a way that preserved my father-in-law's dignity--something that meant a great deal to all of us. Thanks to their help, he was able to make it home safely and is doing well, which is such a relief. Their professionalism and empathy turned a distressing moment into one where we felt supported and cared for. We are deeply grateful. I had to get breakfast naturally & got successful with the recommendation from a fellow hotel guest who pointed me to this. I always begin with coffee & had a pretty filling breakfast with two chocolate chip pay, two sausage patties, two eggs overhand, home fries & sourdough toast. The place was pretty interesting with modern day music from the late 1990's & I sat at the bar & they had a movie playing at the bar. Food was good & maybe sausage & fries had wee spice hey nobody's perfect. Interior has many things with the decor & so but still it works out & even if weird it's their own thing. Oh yeah service is on point plus they saw to it I had ice for my coffee to put the ice to cool & on the toast I guess they thought I wanted jelly but I was more a butter person so they got it settled quickly. read more

They don't do reservations on the weekends but they do a waitlist, I was a little nervous about how long a big group would have to wait - but they were super accommodating! This place wasn't too bad in comparison to their other locations. It's located in a plaza so loved that there was so much parking. It's much bigger than the one in Burlington. We went as a group of 8 around 2/3 on a Sunday and it was pretty dead. Our server was super nice and attentive. The chicken sandwich was actually really big, I finished half of it. Wish it had a little more heat to it, but other than that the seasoning and texture was perfect. The pancake was also huge so happy we only ordered one! It was light and fluffy. The rice bowl was meh it seemed like forced together I think it was the Korean inspired one. Either way wasn't the best. I also didn't like their drink menu, they had a lot of options but they were all so alike that it seemed limited. I'm not sure how to explain. We paid $65 for 2 people: iced coffee ($4), Pepsi, 2 eggs Benedict orders that came with a 1/4 cup of homefries, side bacon, side single pancake ($9!) with real maple syrup. Outrageous cost for breakfast food that was nothing special . Ok real maple syrup is pricey but dropping a single micro green on top of my egg doesn't elevate the experience to where I would feel better about the cost. Also, tho we arrived 45 minutes before closing, wait staff was more attentive to vacuuming (right next to our table), cleaning up and chatting with each other than refilling drinks or checking in. Food and service would be fine in a diner where the same food would cost $20-30. Visit a diner instead or spend the money at Pressed Cafe for more inspired food for that price. read more

What a cute place! Looks like a really large 50's diner. Service was good at lunch time. Good was great! I had the hash brown quiche, which isn't really quiche, but scrambled eggs with bacon, peppers and onions in a hash brown cup, along with the toast and fresh fruit. I changed it up a bit with cheddar instead of jalapeño jack cheese, and left off the Iime crema. It was fantastic! The fruit cup that came with it was clearly fresh and cut up in house, rather than the jarred fruit so common in restaurants when they give you a fruit cup. My husband had the French toast and it was great too - clearly something a little spicy and sweet was added to the eggs it was dipped in. We'll definitely be back! read more

Very disappointed in our experience in Nashua. We have been going to FT for years and were thinking we would be getting the same vibe. It's all off the shelf decor. Nothing vintage. Service was decent. The food was practically inedible. I think the pancakes came out of the microwave. Eggs were overcooked and cold. The "poached" egg was basically hard boiled and the scrambled were burned and dry. Basically it's all off the shelf just add water come in a box. What the heck happened? Next time we will take the drive and go to Portsmouth. Big time bummer. read more
