What a cute little restaurant off the main drag. Just a little bit... The side door is a secret entrance that looks like it has plants all over it and when you go in there's a selfie phone booth and the help is welcoming. We love looking at the menu and we picked out three things to split. The crispy cauliflower was fantastic and it started our night off great!... The other food we found bland the gnocchi and peaches. We left more than half of it... The nakis were very thick and not fully cooked and the peaches were under ripe. The sauce was bland. It just missed on every aspect... Had a great experience at Local Eats. The smash burger was cooked perfectly--crispy edges, juicy center, and packed with flavor. You can tell they pay attention to quality and execution. Walked in right after opening for a quick cocktail while my car was getting worked on. I was the only person there so I got to enjoy the beautiful space. My bartender (don't remember his name) was awesome. He made me a drink that I love that wasn't on the menu and he killed it! Love when places have skilled craftsman! I am gluten free and was excited by all the delicious GF foods but they do have a shared frier unfortunately. All in all, I can't wait to come back and maybe host the next teacher book club here! read more

Highly overrated not sure where all these positive reviews come from. Ordered 5 different things off the menu: bruschetta, lamb lollipops, Korean beef, crab cake and smash burger. All were mid at best. Korean beef should be removed from the menu, I feel as if it was 4 small hamburger patty's with a stripe of terryaki sauce. Just low effort cooking, the ambience is cool and it is well decorated and swanky. The drinks were good and the service was lackluster on a Wednesday night. Lollipops had no sear and were chewy, bruschetta had cooked goat cheese which should have been cold, crab cake seemed like it was deep friend very oily and the burger was 5/10. read more

Now way. The service here was terrible. Our server couldn't be bothered with her tables. Black adidas tank top... no name because she never introduced herself and never brought us water to start. Her check was under "bartender" but she apparently was not a bartender. The food was decent. My only complaint was the gyoza was super salty. But everything else was yummy. Chicken satay, Korean beef screws, crispy cauliflower. Very good! I would get take out. But I wouldn't dine here again. I'm a server at two different restaurants. I know what it's like to be a server. I'm unimpressed. If I need to go find someone to help us, you failed at your job. If you want to chit chat like were, go clock out and sit at the bar. read more

Local Street Eats opened this week in the former CodeX space on West Pearl Street in Downtown Nashua. The space has a cozy modern & homey atmosphere with separated cocktail lounge (right side) and dining room (left side). The place is tastefully decorated with dim lighting with hanging white beads, gold flower mirror decor, bazaar cosmic pink gator wallpaper, and vegetation back wall. The lounge section offers a full service bar with seating, TV, high top table seating and window table with pillows. The bar offers offers beers, wine, sparkling drinks, cocktails, mocktails, and mixed drinks. The food menu is creative and inspired from foods & cuisines from around the world (fusion)and locally and is evolving and may change often which includes a selection of small plates (bites & snacks), handhelds, full sized plates, street greens, and street sweets. The pricing here is moderate. I stopped by Local Street Eats for dinner on a rainy weeknight. I made an online reservation here and arrived here a bit early. Since it wasn't busy, I was promptly seated in the left dining room by the corner window for a peaceful experience. The server arrived with a glass bottle of ice water and glass and I was good with just water. For Yelp purposes, I would order two items from the bites & snacks, one handheld plate, and a street sweet dessert. For starters, I ordered the Crispy Crab Pakora ($15 plus tax)* and Tuna Crudo Tostada ($17 plus tax)*. The Crispy Crab Pakora were deep fried homemade lump crab cake balls (3) topped with a creamy aioli drizzle over arugula. The Tuna Crudo Tostadas (2 of them), crispy corn tortillas topped with ahi tuna pieces, whipped avocado, pickled vegetables, & cilantro. Both plates were nicely presented and very solid to start. For a handheld, the Mc'Lovin Smash Burger ($15 plus tax)* was vomprised of grilled double beef patties smothered in melted cooper cheese, romaine lettuce, house sauce, sauteed onions on a thick soft buttered bun and pickle chips and thick cuts on seasoned golden fries (a bit oily inside) on the side. The smash burger was what a juicy burger should be. For a dessert, I went with the Mama's Fluffernutter Trifle ($9 plus tax)* served chilled in a glass mug with dense layers of peanut butter mousse, nutella fudge, burnt marshmallow layer topped with a caramelized banana slice. This dessert was very sweet and rich. I was given a box for some of the burger and fries and the check was presented which was $60.76 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food I enjoyed here was excellent and the service was acceptable with the server taking my order and bringing out my food with helpers from the kitchen. The manager stopped by to check on things and made the recommendation for a dessert. There are a minor kinks having just opened like pricing inconsistency and the serving staff getting acclimated to the menu. I did have to point out the dessert I wanted (Mama's Fluffernutter Trifle) on the printed menu since they had no idea beforehand. See the * note. I would definitely return back here in the future to try some other things offered here because again the food was solid and no issues. * Actual price. I will mention that the actual prices charged and the prices on the printed food menu do not match in several cases with desserts and a few full plates actually priced lower and some bites & snacks actually priced lower or higher. Their POS is currently Toast, which I actually looked up afterwards to see their actual pricing online and online ordering is not available though. Each item I ordered did not match the menu prices, net $3 plus tax more overall. They should update their printed menus and their online POS pricing to match. read more

The parking lot is nearby so that is not an issue. I think we finally got a place in Nashua where the quality of the food is more like Burlington, rather than the dreary, boring stuff you usually get in most other places. Great pork buns Excellent burrata salad, I think I will like more of their salads than any other items on the menu. Not a fan of the curry fries - although that is just my taste, others in my group liked it. Food did not take too long to come by. Service was good. I liked the ambience but others in the group felt it was too expensive compared to the sort of tables and chairs we were sitting on. I would go again when I am bored in Nashua and want to eat something flavorful, different and of better quality than most other nearby restaurants. - The food at Giant of Siam has improved over time and is of the same quality. - I like Pressed Cafe, but the taste has worn on me over time. - The only other food of similar quality in Nashua is the white pizza at Pizzico. I finally made it to downtown's newest spot, and it didn't disappoint! Parking was a breeze, with plenty of spots right out front and the public garage just around the corner. The first thing you see when you walk in is the lively bar area - my friend and I already decided we're snagging seats there next time! We chose to sit in the dining room, though, and I loved the atmosphere. The vintage decor was a really nice touch; pictures just don't capture the ambiance. Our waitress, Kailey, was fast, professional, and super friendly. We started the night with a round of drinks. My friend got the Scarlet Letter, and I opted for their espresso martini. Both drinks were excellent. For starters, we ordered the chicken satay and the french dip egg rolls, both absolutely delicious. For my meal, I went with the Mc'Lovin smash burger and fries. It was so big I couldn't finish it, but thankfully, I was able to bring the leftovers home. My friend had the Southern Fried Chicken Sliders. She thought they were good, but she mentioned they were a little skimpy on the house sauce - she actually had to check to make sure there was any on them at all. Saw the good yelp reviews and gave it a try. Really great experience. I had the coconut curried shrimp which was delicious. Not your typical coconute shrimp. Savory curry (not hot) sauce in a bed of rice w cilantro. Shrimp were fresh. Wife had the southern fried chickeb sandwich with fries and it was excellent as well. Came during "Golden hour" where certain drinks were $8. Very diverse and interesting menu. 100% will be back. read more

Great new addition to the Nashua downtown area. Cocktails were very well done as were the mocktail offerings. Rye Tai drink was unique and flavorful. We ordered the Southern Fried chicken sliders and the smash burger and both were excellent! The onion dip appetizer was delicious with warm bread for dipping.
