I rarely if ever give 5 Stars but if any place is deserving of such High Praise it's Casey Magee's! The Owner/Manager Matt even stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our experience. We had Fish/Chips and I would highly recommend you consider having them. The fries were crispy and the Fish was delicious. The Guinness was poured to perfection and the atmosphere was straight out of Ireland herself! If you find yourself in Nashua or New Hampshire, this Fantastic Establishment is well worth a visit. Ohhhh forgot to mention, LIVE MUSIC on Saturday Nights.

Casey Magee's Irish Pub and Music Hall recently opened on Temple Street in Downtown Nashua. The space was formerly home to Revolution Sports Bar & Restaurant, Thirsty Turtle, and Amsterdam Bar & Lounge. The interior here is an open concept with a full service L-shaped bar with seating on two sides of the bar and several high top tables spread out along the walls and front window area. There are 10 flatscreen TVs throughout the bar and a TouchTunes digital jukebox. There is also an upstairs room too. There is also an outdoor seating area in front of the building extending into the street thanks to the City. There are 20 whiskeys here and 12 beers on draft here including Guinness, Smithwick's, Blue Moon, Seadog, Stoneface IPA, Sam Adams, Great North IPA, Bud Light, Coors Light, Dogfish 60 Minute IPA, Lord Hobo Boom Sauce DIPA, Shipyard. As for the food offerings, it's traditional pub fare including wings, potato skins, Irish nachos, flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, steak tips, fish & chips, and dessert (brownie sundae, apple pie). They will be offering Sunday Brunch and Sunday football very soon, with the sound turned on for all Pats games. I stopped by Casey Magee's for takeout recently. During the pandemic, masks are required when entering with a big hand sanitizer dispenser near the entrance. Once seated, masks can come off, as I saw with several bar and dining patrons here. At the bar, I ordered the Traditional Fish & Chips ($16 plus tax), which was ready to go in about 10 minutes with prompt service. The fish & chips were a bit greasy as expected, and very tasty. The 8 oz Guinness battered dipped piece of cod filet was very firm and hot. The golden battered fries had a slightly salty flavor and crisp on the outside. The small cup of minced cole slaw was slightly tangy and accompanied with a lemon wedge, ketchup and tartar sauce provided for dipping. I will definitely return here in the future if I feel like grabbing pub food and hanging out here to catch some football or baseball on the TVs.

We found this place because our friends Glitter and guitars is playing tonight. We are so impressed with the food and service. Our server Melissa came over quickly and answered all our questions and was super kind and attentive. I had the Ruben and wow! The corned beef was cooked perfectly. My daughter had the fish and chips and said it was amazing. My hubby had the honey bbq burger. All the food was very good. The service and music was amazing. Thank you for a fun evening out.

A huge fresh fish. Crunchy on the outside; moist on the inside!

Fun Irish bar. Conversation, laughter, smiles. Gracious in accommodating our special needs. Food was prepared well and was delicious! We could not finish all of it. Parking is challenging; had to circle the block several times. But I would definitely return next time I'm in town. Recommended!

    Best bar in Nashua!

Had jambalaya and the cook who made it need to read the recipe. Put chicken on top of the dish was burned and had a taste of gas or charcoal. We also had fish that was dry and not very tasty. The service was also a disaster, the people that serve us had no clue what service is, never asked if we need anything, if everything was alright, etc. the ambiance is dark and depressing. I took my 10 yr. old here and any frozen pizza from the supermarket could have looked and tasted better. I got the Mediterranean plate with chicken, a greek salad and spanikopita. The chicken was dry, the spanikopita had no season or flavoring - it was like eating frozen spinach that was reheated in a microwave. The cucumbers in the greek salad were dry - you could tell they were cut and prepped days ago. There was a small side of Tzatiki sauce which thankfully helped me choke down the dry, bland food. We did also order the Queso dip as an appetizer - I think they melted a chunk of Velveeta. It did have a little spicy kick to it though - I'll give it that. No, I didn't say anything to the waitress because I knew there was no point. If you expect quality of food, just don't go because it is subpar. Maybe they would be better with a sandwich or burger but I'm not tempted to try it. As for the other reviews, I can only imagine they enjoyed the beer (ALOT) and were satisfied with mediocre food after a few (or more) drinks. When we left (at 5:30pm), the only ones there were groups of old men around the bar yucking it up with each other. Nothing wrong with that of course, I just found it funny. No families, no couples. And the older men were not there for the food...they were their for the beer and conversation.

He was friendly and service was decent, so thank you to him (don't remember his name, I'm so bad with names.) Mai tai: Wasn't awful but not worth $16. Crab Rangoons: Smaller than usual Rangoons, very little flavor, cost $14. Also not worth the price. Basil beef egg rolls: OMG those were veggie spring rolls with literally so little beef and basil that I tore that sucker apart and found one minuscule piece of ground beef and zero basil. Waste of money. Sashimi lunch: One piece of salmon was 1" x 1" in size, no word of a lie. The tuna was fishy and something with a silver skin (mackerel?) was inedible because it was so fishy. Other pieces were edible. White rice was fine, helped kill the fishiness. Sesame Chicken and General Tso lunch specials: Our friend got sesame chix and it looked like a decent portion and she said it was good. Other friend got General Tso and had similar portion and ate the whole thing. Moral of the story: I don't know how they stay in business. I guess Chinese lunch specials are the way to go? Total of bill after tip for 4 people (only one person had a cocktail, others only had water) was $140. Pure insanity. YMMV
