A great concept, executed well, but with a silly name. There is no ravioli served here, and I ignored this place for so long because I assumed it was something it wasn't. (Read the explanation on the website. I still can't make any sense of it.) And a sign outside that was so unassertive that I passed by for several weeks before I even realized it existed. But thanks to the wife I finally visited (twice now, with more sure to come) and I'm glad I did. The menu is all over the place culturally, with influences of Ethiopian, Turkish, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, Korean, Thai, Spanish, Jamaican, and probably others. You might think that's a recipe for disaster - how can they excel at all of these? But everything I've tried so far has been good to excellent. And don't worry - they don't try to mix all those flavors into every dish! So far we've tried: Elote Hush Puppy Waffles (corn & jalapeno, lime crema, cotijo, cilantro). Good but I'd prefer them crispier, not soft. Fingerling Patatas Bravas (small roasted potatoes with chimichurri, harissa, scallions): Excellent, and really works as an appetizer for sharing. Lamb Meatballs (their description mentions whipped feta, olives, red tzatziki). Tasty but the consistency was off; way too soft. The above were from the "small bites" section. Now to the entrees. Katsu Chicken Sandwich (crispy chicken, kimchi hot honey, pickles, toasted gochujang foccacia) Super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, the focaccia grilled and so much flavor it's good enough to eat on its own. BBQ Pork Loin Ramen (Gochujang broth, noodles, kimchi seasonal vegetables, chili crunch, fried egg) Assertive flavorful broth, plentiful ingredients, the pork thickly sliced and surprisingly flavorful. Egg fully cooked as I requested and it really was crispy as advertised. TRT Gnocchi (braised oxtails, sweet potato gnocchi, onion, pepper, tomato, scotch bonnet, coconut milk, jerk seasoning) Big portion, both the meat and gnocchi. Gnocchi had good consistency, not gummy. Meat was shredded and flavorful. I would have preferred on the bone though. Not overly coconutty. Spicy. There are several desserts. We've only tried two so far but they didn't do much for me. There were these bao bao buns filled with ice cream and drizzled with sauce. Tasty but the proportions were off. The buns were large and dwarfed the tiny dollops of ice cream within. There was a tea-infused cheesecake that was a pleasantly sweet way to finish a meal but I didn't really detect any tea flavor. The best thing was the wife discovering she could just order the ice cream alone. It's not listed on the menu. This was the burnt sugar again, which really tastes more like an intensely flavored cinnamon to me. We both liked it. The serving of 4 very small scoops was a good size in total and a great deal at $4. The drinks are first rate and innovative. I love cocktails with ingredients I've never heard of and there are several of these here. I've tried the Sake Daiquiri and the Libre Del Mundo so far. They all sound so good I plan to go through the entire list over my next few visits. The bar looks amazing, with a large selection of top-shelf whiskies and other liquors that intrigue me but they are probably best enjoyed straight and I mostly prefer cocktails. I get the sense that the bartender really knows his stuff and I could learn a few things from him sitting at the bar and trying his recommendations. The room is small, as are the tables. It's eclectically decorated. From where I sat I viewed two colorful paintings, one of Albert Einstein and another of an elephant. To my right, a large wall made of leafy greens. I *think* they were plastic but will have to check. Comfortable surroundings, good service, and innovative food will keep me coming back. Desserts need work or maybe I just need to find the ones I like. And I hope they come up with specials or change the menu occasionally. That's important to me as I get bored easily.

Excellent food, they are really doing some very interesting and tasty things with food here. It's not what you'd expect from the name but read the description - it tells you about them and how they approach things. The service could not have been more friendly or attentive. The place is bright and fun! Colors and art and decorations all say relax enjoy have fun. Great bar area and some crave-able drinks! Put this place on your need to try or regular rotation

Had a fantastic meal and experience. The vibe is great, the service from everyone in the restaurant was professional and friendly. We started with the fingerling patatas bravas. They were perfectly prepared and seasoned. My wife had the smash burger and loved it. I had a bite and the edge was crispy, the center juicy and the kimchi was a beautiful combination. I had the Korean lamb flatbread which was an incredible mix of flavors. I would eat it everyday. To finish off the meal we had a strawberry shortcake that was elevated to perfection. We will be back!

Everything about Ravioli Theory is top notch. We did the food and cocktail (mocktails for me) experience. The dishes were delicious, conversations with Chef Wilson were entertaining and educational and the drinks were unique and tasty. The bar manager Cody is not just a bartender, they are a skilled mixologist and they definitely know what they are doing when it comes to creating inventive and delicious drinks. Highly recommend checking this restaurant out!

We took our two younger ones there for a quiet Easter Sunday dinner together. So many interesting things on the menu, we way over ordered. But everything was delicious. We had the pork belly confit, the cheese bread, the octopus, and the parm wings to start. They were all polished off quickly. Our pork belly did seem to have missed a sauce, but we just dipped them with the cheesy bread sauce and was very happy. My son ordered a few different skews and thoroughly enjoyed his Picanha, sausage and cheese and chicken heart. My youngest said the chicken hearts were the best she had ever tried. High praise from a kid loving chicken heart since just a tiny tod. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye over mushroom risotto. We order medium rare and both of ours came perfectly done. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed trying our steak and risotto. My daughter and I both enjoyed mixing my son's Yucca mash with the risotto. She practically scrapped my plate clean. We all had our eyes on the pineapple, but all agreed we were overstuffed and will defer to next time. We even had leftovers to bring home to one happy Puppy. Will definitely return!

My review is no reflection on the atmosphere or waitstaff... strictly the food. Our appetizers were pretty good... calamari and escargot... nothing special, but, acceptable. After that.. things went way downhill. Two of us, ordered the veal parm. It was served on a piping hot plate, however, I can assure you, this was not made to order. The veal cutlet was clearly cooked hours before as it was barely lukewarm warm in Temperature and the breading was not one bit, crispy. It was soggy. Not made to order! It was served over a bed of "angel hair." The angel hair was cut up in multiple small pieces... the way you would serve it to a baby experiencing pasta for the first time. I asked our waitress "why is the pasta all cut up like this?" She responded: "I don't know." Not only was it cut up into pieces...(who does that? ) it was also soggy and way overcooked. The meal was a huge disappointment. My other dining companion ordered the fried pork chop which was a special. It wasn't too bad... he reported it was tender... it came with mash and a side of corn that looked like it came straight out of a can of Delmonte. No frills there. It was clearly canned corn. My sister got the cavatappi pasta that came with shrimp ; cannellini beans and a veg mixed in and it was swimming in a sub-par sauce that was lacking in any seasoning. All the entrees lacked basic seasoning. I want to go to a restaurant where my dish is made to order. Hot and crispy cutlets; Al Dente pasta; corn that's not poured out of a tin can and entrees that are served hot! This place has gone way downhill. I was there several years ago my experience was very different. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant and it certainly wasn't worth the $300 dollars (including tip) that we paid. Entrees were 30 + dollars each! What a joke to be charging those prices for the sub-standard food we were served. We will never go back. On a Positive note, my sister was given a lovely birthday dessert plate of sticky toffee pudding and ice cream.

I called ahead of time to check on availability, mention that we prefer to sit at the bar, and confirm that they do not take reservations at the bar, but that there were tables available. So we had it in. When we arrived, we clearly saw at least four open seats at the bar. But we were informed that those seats were reserved.
