Like my visits to many diners, I was here on my patty melt quest. -- Patty Melt: First, the composition is faithful to the prototype, with a quarter pound patty (no smashburger nonsense), rye bread (no sourdough decoy), buttered (not merely toasted), and with the classic Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and thousand Island dressing. No fusion, no reinvention, no omissions, no hipster jive. Good crispness and butteriness on the bread, great melt on the cheese, and noticeable softness to the onions. I could see some of the potatoes were browned but many looked like they didn't touch the grill. I didn't care for the seasoning, too much paprika for me. Hubby's sandwich had turkey on it but he said it was pressed turkey and very salty. The soup was fine. The server was good, no complaints about her. We were not rushed to leave. I'm glad I had the coupon to try the restaurant. I don't think I'll be going there again as there are other breakfast places that I think are better.

If the management can't keep this type of behavior to a reasonable level it doesn't deserve my business!

I worked as a prep cook 20 yrs ago . the kitchen is supposed to be prepped for the day . with enough of all items . it was only 8:30 am , when this happened . we will never go back , and i would never recommend this place . they used to be good 10yrs ago , when the other wait staff was there . but the wait staff we used to see have all since left .
