Horrible ! Not only were they not busy and took forever to greet me at the door to get my take out . But they were skimpy on the portions. The fries were stale and cold (tasted like McDonald's) . Chicken was super tough . Pretty much the whole order I received was super cold . I got two entrees of the California chicken sandwich & one kids meal of salmon . NEVER WILL COME AGAIN & to think it was my first time trying this location out . The one in Burlington, MA never lets me down & I figured how bad could the one in Nashua be? PSSHH YEAH RIGHT . & now I spent $50 for it to pretty much go to the trash . Now what will happen is someone will apologize for my experience but what about offering me my money back or better yet making my whole order again and giving me back my money on top of that . Long time fan of Burtons, several locations. Nashua not so much at this point. Went on a Fri early evening. VERY pleasant staff and waiter. Wife's dinner was good. I had the rib eye ($ 49) wanted toswapgarlic mashed fora baked. Waiter said he had to check because they had been finicky lately. Really? On a $49 Steak? Baked was approved. Ordered seasonal veg - spinach. Wow no Popeye spinach volume that's for sure. Pathetically SMALL amount of Spinach. I was amazed. Image is before I took single bite. Normally, I would give the restaurant a three-star rating. However, the decor was quite fetching and the service excellent. The prices are VERY expensive for NH. I live in Santa Monica, and the prices for the food are comparable. There really should be a lunch special(s) on offer. The food was good, but lacking strong flavor and seasoning. Tried Burton's for the first time and wasn't impressed, it wasn't bad but it wasn't good and especially not good enough to charge their high prices. We started with their Memphis dry rub which were only okay, they weren't very seasoned and they were cooked too long so the skin was pretty dry. I then had calamari for my main and it was not good at all. It was almost entirely flavorless and had more peppers than calamari itself and the breading was very thick and crunchy. However, the cocktails were very good I got a mojito which was good and tasted very fresh however there was half a paper straw wrapper in my drink (my straw came unwrapped so it wasn't mine) and I also had a pomegranate martini which was really fantastic, one of the better drinks I have had, it was perfectly sweet and fruity. It was a group members birthday so he got a free dessert, the pumpkin crème brûlée which was pretty excellent very light and not overpoweringly sweet. The waiter was joking around a bit with us which is usually welcomed but made some weird jokes about how old I am and how it's time for me to start popping out kids? Didn't love that, and when he took our food away to box it up he just accidentally threw it away instead and it was kind of just a "whoops oh well" type of deal. But, I'm not going to flame the restaurant over one waiter at the end of a long shift. Overall, I would maybe come back here for some drinks but not food, it was lacking in flavor and was overpriced imo. read more

This spot has been a family favorite ever since it opened. My sister and I try to come here every time I'm back in town; it's always a nostalgic experience for us. Great food, great service, great drinks. Most recently we came on New Year's Day a little after 7pm. This might be a little nitpicky of me, but they told us that they were closing early at 8pm instead of 9pm because it wasn't super busy, which in my opinion isn't the best business practice (hours should be set for a reason, and I can definitely understand extending when it's busy, but I don't understand closing early from an advertisement/consistency standpoint). Anyway, that set aside, everything was great. We started with their wings which were delicious as usual. We ordered a malibu pineapple and an espresso martini, a little on the creamier side, but still packed a mean punch. I wanted to order their superfood bowl but they were out so I just stuck with the caesar salad (a bit light on the dressing) and my sister had the steak frites with amazing parmesan truffle fries. All in all, we just love coming here mostly because it brings back so many great memories, but of course the service and menu keep us returning! read more

Wouldn't recommend the lobster roll. Price of $29 should have been maybe $15 ish?? I opted for the toasted roll, warm lobster even though I like the cold lobster roll too. The picture on the website is a stretch. No "piled high" knuckle and claw meat. At first I thought I got a few shrimp in the roll but I guess it was lobster. Pretty small pieces. The oddest thing was the seasoning all over the roll.....taco maybe?? No one likes the real taste of lobster anymore?? It was a real disappointment. My husband's chicken piccata was good. Another super popular place in town offers buck a shuck, we can never get in, so we decided to try Burton's buck a shuck. We called, made sure they still offered this, and made a reservation for 7. We got there, ordered our drinks, made a passing remark about how we couldn't wait until oysters. The waitress told us "there are about 20 left." Yikes! We'll take them! Turns out...there were only 8 left lol and they were tinyyyyyyyy Our waitress was great, the rest of the menu wasn't what we wanted, so after we finished our drinks we left. Hopefully they can start ordering more (we were told they only order 300.) The drinks were got were tasty and totally appreciate a great mocktail selection featuring the seedlip products! read more

Walked in and waited for over 10 minutes by the host stand and never not once, did a waiter or the bartender who could clearly see us standing there, acknowledged us or told us they'd be assisting shortly. We just left. It's a shame because I enjoy Burton's, but this location left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

10/10! We were able to get a Saturday night reservation, and were greeted by friendly hostesses and seated promptly. Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as well. Flavio was attentive and helped us sign up for the rewards program. We had the general tso's bowl, chicken Milanese and truffle fries. Not sure what is up with this place. Worst food I've had in a long time! We started with drinks, one was supposed to be non alcoholic and the other was supposed to be an aperol spritz (which I've had here before!). The non alcoholic came out with alcohol and I have zero clue what was in what I got but it was not even close to aperol anything. Waitress did immediately replace the alcoholic mistake, and took our order. The bread and salad came out immediately, and a few moments later out entrees came out. The fish sandwich was sad, 2 tiny slices of pickled onion, tiny spec of tater sauce and when I picked it up, the grease was dripping from the fish. The fries were droopy and cold. The risotto seemed to be a win though. Waitress cleared our plates (friend took her risotto home and I had more than half of my sandwich and almost all the fries still on my plate) and stared at my full drink and I told her she could take it because it was horrible and not sure what it even was. She said it was a winter spritz, and I nicely said that that was not what I ordered. She did take it and the newly made non alcoholic drink off the bill, as that was awful too. I was visiting on business and in the mood for a steak. Unfortunately, Buckleys is closed on Mondays, so I decided to try Burtons. It's pretty much an average chain type of restaurant located in a mall. I ordered the NY Strip medium rare. It was cooked perfectly but the steak was so-so in flavor. The garlic mashed and asparagus were decent but not hot enough. Nothing really stood out. It was definitely not worth the $39.00 price tag. I sat at the bar, and the bar tender was attentive, and the service was great. The Dirty Martini was spot on. I should have opted for the Burger All in all this is a nice restaurant with average food. Good spot for drinks and apps or a burger & some wings. read more

The service was very good however the food is another story. I ordered the Southwest Chicken salad which did not have all of the ingredients added to the salad. There were 4 pieces of tomatoes, no corn, no beans, no bacon or cheese. I thought it was missing ingredients so I checked the menu when I got home to confirm what was in the salad. For $22.50 cents it should not have cost more than $10.00 considering it was mostly romaine with a thinly sliced piece of chicken topped with tortilla strips. read more

Ate here last night. I've been coming to Burton's for years and have always enjoyed all the locations. Original owner and CEO was a classmate of mine so I always talked the place up to friends. The good is, I like the new decor and occasional menu changes. It needed some spark. The not so good is changing the "old faithfuls". I ordered my favorite fried fish sandwich with an onion string upgrade from fries. Instead of the usual light, crispy delicate batter on both, the fish and huge pieces of onion were coated in a thick, heavy batter that seemed like a Panko breadcrumb. It was way too much and took away from the dish. I was very disappointed not expecting this presentation. I don't know why it's been changed, but it isn't for the better in my opinion. I also asked for more tartar which never came, no biggie. Please bring back the nice lighter batter and smaller strings, not the gigantic onion rings from last night. This amazing meal was made even more special by outstanding service from Megan. She made sure we had plenty of time...we never felt rushed even on a busy Friday night. My Mediterranean Chicken risotto was delicious albeit a bit on the cool side. Had the dish been piping hot it would have been exemplary. My husband's filet was cooked to tender perfection. Our friends shared the bronzed salmon and the Caesar salad and proclaimed both to be delicious. We finished our meal with a generous portion of the seven layer chocolate cake...a couple of bites for each of us was the perfect way to end a delightful dinner. Seating is a bit close at the booth tables but there was still an amicable vibe. Overall this was a lovely evening made all the more better by a delicious meal and excellent service. read more

So apparently, this is another one of those indigenous chains for the New England area. Best way I could describe them is: the Landry's Select Club of the Northeast (wonder if anyone understood that reference). Oh, if you couldn't tell, this is an upscale casual dining joint. And how! Now then, we start the evening off like we do; sampling on things like pan seared scallops, Caesar salad, and buffalo chicken dip. Allow me to premise this by stating: none of these things rank below a 9. And that's not even accounting for the main courses yet. But we'll get to those in a minute. Scallops: these things are slammin'! I haven't had such delectation in mollusk form since Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas! We're talkin' perfectly seared, brilliantly seasoned, fully cooked scallops with a corn cream garnish so tasty, it'll make you wanna slap yo' mama (but seriously, please don't go smacking your mothers). Sufficed to say, this one's a solid 10. Caesar salad: possibly one of the best salads I've had in a long time. Just the right amount of dressing and TONS of Parmesan cheese....and you have me at the first bite. Even the croutons were seasoned beyond belief! The lettuce quality control could be better...as I tend to like leafier pieces over stalky ones. 9 out of 10. Buffalo chicken dip: Oh my Lanta, holy schnikeys, and whatever other cliché catchphrases you can come up with....this stuff is amazing! It tastes like my soul ascended to a higher plane, discovered world peace and the cure for all deadly diseases, came back down to earth, and bestowed my newfound discoveries upon all of mankind. The blend of bleu cheese, buffalo sauce, and seasoned chicken chunks redefines the word: exquisite. Perfect 10! Then, we have the entrees.. Wifey got a lobster and shrimp pasta that's SO good, you'll feel like you're getting high purely off the flavors alone. It's apparent everything here is made from scratch, including the sauce. Combine that with a ton of shredded Parm, and you got yourself a pasta man's pasta. This....is the pasta that all other pastas should aspire to be. Another solid 10, folks! Now, as for the ribeye I got....this is where things dip slightly. However, that's not to say it was bad. Just a tad under seasoned. The steak itself was cooked to perfection. It always impresses me when a kitchen can properly fire off a mid-rare steak. It had kind of a boxy, unnaturally cut shape to it, but I didn't pay it much mind. But the seasoning....*sigh*....guys...why are all the restaurants in New England scared to death of seasoning?! It BEGS an explanation. Anyway, when factoring in the mashed potatoes, I'd still consider this one pretty damn good. The steak gets a 7 out of 10 though. Oh, lemme tell you a little bit about our server for the evening. He was quite the delight. Literally. Like...I haven't seen anyone THIS ecstatic since Richard Simmons. And it seems to have paid off. Because this guy provided the most stellar service I have seen in a long while. Once again, I felt like a noble gladiator most decorated. With a fork of Delmonico in one hand and a glass of wine in the other, I raise my pinky thusly and take a sip.. Naw, I'm just kiddin'. I don't actually sip wine like that. But seriously, this dude made us feel like royalty that night. So, we naturally tipped him 25%. Soooo, yeah. A nice evening was had by all and all for the fair price of....almost $300. *wallet drops dead* Yeah, I probably should have mentioned....this place isn't cheap. But I think it's worth it. Great gathering with friends for some great short ribs and sides, we all ended up ordering the short ribs and they were amazing! The side of Brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked. And our waiter was great - he was around a great deal but never intrusive. All in all, a great evening! read more

My wife and I were visiting the area for our anniversary. We originally had reservations for Prime at Skyview, but since there was a blizzard coming in and Skyview is relatively remote on a winding road we decided to cancel. Now we typically do not like chain restaurants, and at first glance Burtons seemed like it was a chain trying to impersonate a quality steakhouse. Well let me tell you they stand well above any of your typical chain restaurants serving similar fare. The service was remarkable, the food was outstanding, and the ambiance was there as well. I'm hearing impaired which can make dinning out difficult. The hostess sat us well away from other guest and we felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves. Our server, who's name I failed to get, was a tall kind gentleman who spoke with an accent. He was excellent on every level. As soon as my drink was empty, another showed up. We had several questions and he got us answers. I opted for the lobster roll with fries and a side salad, the wife got the filet with mashed potato and roasted Brussel sprouts. Both were wonderful. The lobster roll was full of fresh lightly seasoned knuckle, tail and claw meat. Thats an anomaly in and of it self. Tail meat in a lobster roll! The filet, although cooked a little beyond the requested medium rare was like butter! The salad was fresh and crisp, topped with fresh bacon crumbles. The mashed potatoes were creamy and light and the brussel sprouts were roasted perfectly! If I could make any suggestions I would suggest a redwine reduction with the beef plates, or at least a compound butter. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area! read more

This Burton's Grill among those near me has the best vibe. The food is good, the espresso martini is especially good. The menu caters to the gluten free crowd - server says about 50% of their diners. There are not a lot of vegetarian options for one person in my party - she had the veggie burger. My panko crusted chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We went Mother's Day at 3:30. They were sold out of Filets. Pathetic! I ordered a house salad. unbeknownst to me, it was covered in Feta cheese which I hate. Waiter never why I wasn't eating it. Never had chance to send back. I ended up eating a hamburger for my big expensive Mother's Day dinner. Extremely disappointed! Loud, very noisy ambiance. Difficult to hear person you are dining with. While the ambiance and service are fairly good, the (warm) lobster roll dinner I ordered last nite was beyond pathetic: the roll was just a hot dog roll and the lobster was seasoned (awful) so much that detracted from the usual flavor of lobster. The meat was very dry and chewy. To add insult to injury, the amount of lobster was small and the dish cost me $35!!! The cole slaw was in a 2" or so wide tiny dish on the side and the french fries were limp, greasy and tasteless. This dish is $35???? Where is the manager? He/She needs to make sure quality is there for the price. Obviously the manager is not watching this. I am insulted because we paid a ton for this dish and it was less than mediocre. I see another reviewer complained about that dish as well. Maybe there are more negative reviews regarding the lobster roll, I don't know. Do not order this dish. Outrageous rip off! Legal Seafood, even under their newer ownership, still makes a way more delicious, flavorful and burgeoning lobster roll. read more
