Cons: fish tacos are pretty bad. Store brought big tortillas and the fish had a strong fish smell/taste in not a good way. Tasted frozen. Grilled shrimp and truffle fries were below average as well. Asked for the shrimp to be extra grilled and they were barely grilled. Fries weren't crunchy either. This review is only for breakfast. There's ample parking for this spot which is shared with a medical building next door. Once walking in it splits between a bar and dinner. You will be greeted once walking in and the service was on point. I came here on a Friday morning and was greeted and seated really quickly. I ordered the country skillet and it was amazing! Had nice country gravy over bacon and sausages. It was a huge amount and had to get a box to bring the rest home. I also ordered some cinnamon roll pancakes. I really enjoyed them as they weren't overly sweet and had a great taste. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. what a shame, been a frequent customer here forever. Went in the other day, sat at the bar for a drink and dinner. 4 people behind the bar laughing and about how they were all back there. No one asked us if we needed anything, I said hello to one of the many bartenders, she said hi and walked away, after 5-10 minutes we left. I did call the manager on our way to Rocco's to let her know and she was very apologetic. Did not call for me, called for them so maybe they could fix the problem. Waitress seemed annoyed we entered restaurant at 8:30pm on a Saturday night when the restaurant closes at 10pm. 2 people in restaurant which should tell you something for a Saturday night. Food average at best and over priced with menu pricing not updated on menu which makes that subpar meal even worse. Party of 5 which included a 3 year old. We had chicken parmigiana, just ok, salmon ok, Shepard s pie which was good, chicken bits tiny little nuggets ok Mac and cheese ok and kids pasta. Visited North side Grill on a Wednesday night 7:30/8ish, a car show was just wrapping up. We got right in and seated. I had the 12 oz NY Sirloin strip. It was cooked perfectly and quite tasty. Came with 2 sides, I had mashed and a garden salad. Partner had the steak tip salad. We both totally enjoyed our meals. Add in a beer and glass of wine and tip, our bill was close to $100. I have been here a handful of times and I have never been disappointed. I've sat in the lounge once and it was perfect for a family but every other time I've sat in the bar area. The bar area is awesome with a nice environment, I just wish you could sit more than 4 people at a table. Everyone that works there is so nice and friendlyAll the food is great and comes out smoking hot. Saturdays are the best day to go if you enjoy prime rib because that's the only day they sell it and it's first come first serve. They also do monthly drink specials and let me tell you, they do not disappoint. I will continue to visit this place, go in and check it out! Update: Returned back in finally after them being closed due to Covid. Place is still the best around!! Fish tacos are always my #1 go to! read more

First, service here is very friendly and prompt. So no complaints there. The food? Well, if you're going to serve good breakfast food, you better be able to knock eggs benny out of the park. And this place failed on that front. Two of us got different versions of it. I asked for my home fries to be nice and crispy, the other person didn't. They arrived the same and not at all crispy. More importantly, poached eggs on EB are supposed to have runny yolks! NEITHER of ours were like that. Both had eggs over cooked. It's a very basic thing to make and I was quite surprised to see a diner-like place screw it up like that. On the flip side, it still tasted very good, which was a relief. But, folks, find chefs who can handle the basics, will ya? That dish is a simple test for a good cook! read more

We ate here a few years ago as we had a coupon for lobster dinners and it was pretty good. Not good enough that we were running back but also not bad to the point we would not return in the future. Well, the future was a few weeks ago and we were less than impressed with the meal. Fries food was super greasy and a salad didn't seem to have the freshest ingredients. When we got to the table the waitress was over in less than 15 seconds "are you ready to order?" I don't like that!! We also had dirty silverware and as my general rule of thumb you get a starting point of 4 stars as a result of that. Especially during a global pandemic. 1L bottle of Fiji is $5.00. The markup on this is HIGHER than the standard markup on a bottle of wine. This is criminal as I would have thought is was a big bottle for this price. Not the individual size. The Ruben was so so so salty it was less than palatable. It barely had sauerkraut on it as well.
