This place made awesome chicken tenders but they've been closed every time I've drove by for the past few months now, seems they may have shut down again, shame... read more

I liked this place a lot but my most recent order was a disaster. They go to the trouble of using boxes with openings to let the steam out of the crispy food (chicken, fries, onion rings). THEN they wrap the food up tight in A PLASTIC BAG! THE STEAM FROM THE FOOD TURNED ALL THE CRISPY FOOD INTO SOMETHING THAT TASTED LIKE A WET SPONGE. IT WAS AWFUL. The fries and rings were soaked. I called to complain but they made believe they couldn't understand me. Absolutely awful food. read more

Damned good chicken. We even ate in the restaraunt and it was pretty nice, tbh. Looks can be deceiving from the outside.

Oh my god.....the best fried chicken/chicken tenders I've had in a long time. The chicken is FRESH, so crispy but juicy, flavorful and nice and HOT. You ever been somewhere and the food is so good it just makes you mad lol - the fries are amazing g, the coleslaw and even their sauces.....just wow. My partner and I were speechless lol. The service was so great, so friendly and it's such a cute little vibe in Nashua. Seriously 10000/10. My new favorite spot. read more

Chicken N Chips - #3- 4 piece tender meal with fries - Fish & Chips Near Me - Nashua, New Hampshire

New Chicken n Chips is Open...Went there last night and the place is clean and really nice. The bar was not open yet, but the chicken was AWESOME!!! I got the 3 piece BONE IN with jojo fries and a side of spicy raviatta sauce. The chicken was perfectly crisp with that fresh good oil. Fries were great and staff were super friendly. Highly recommend you check out the new version of this place! read more

Decent staff but orders are always wrong. The new owners bought it, slapped lipstick in a pig, gouged prices and never get the order right.

Super fantastic! Cant say enough good things. Owner is friendly. Food was delicious. Clean inside and the artwork on the walls was fun to look at it. The bar area is great and the drinks were great! read more

I was hesitant to try, due to some of the negative reviews and how I remembered the restaurant being so rundown and dirty before the fire. I was pleasantly surprised at how new and clean it was inside. Friendly staff and the OG chick stick meal was better than I remembered. The chicken was excellent and the jojo's were even better than before. If I did have one complaint, it would be that I didn't like the coleslaw (hopefully they find a better recipe). We will definitely be back. read more

Chicken N Chips - OG Chick Stick Meal - Fish & Chips Near Me - Nashua, New Hampshire

It's back and better than ever. Bone in was tender and juicy while crispy on the outside, Joe-joes were perfectly cooked. Portion size was large and price was reasonable. New everything inside. The tenders are as good as the Puritan in Manchester. Happy to have a solid fried chicken option in Nashua once again. read more

Sorry for the bad news but this reincarnation of chicken and chips is not good at all. THESE STIX USED TO BE A NASHUA AREA ICON. The chicken seems to be brined in salt water. I say this as the saltiness seems to come from the chicken and not the coating which is barely existent. My brother used to work there like 40 years ago, and I have eaten there for decades. I sent him a pic of what I got last night. He saw many a CHIX STIX come out of that old pressure cooker. LOOKS NOTHING LIKE WHAT HE SAW. To be honest it hasn't been all that great since the Asian owners bought it and closed it many many years ago. Since then it's been an owner or 2 not sure maybe more. The chick sticks look and taste NOTHING LIKE THEY USED TO. The previous owner I believe took the "original" recipe to Merrimack, which is still not the same as original. The times I had it when they owned it always seemed dry and over cooked... The JOS were also a big swing and a miss they are barely coated and seasoned. Not sure what these owners are trying to do but CHIK STIX SWITCHEROO WONT DO!!! It also appears they aren't using a pressure cooker and just deep frying them. I wish I could love this place like I did in its hey day but the sticks although very fresh and cooked perfectly they just don't taste good. TOO BAD need to have a SEANCE with the original owner to ask him what he did and how he did it. read more

This place is really good not to expensive like other customer service is really good there super nice! 10/10 service drinks are really good just a great experience and great food! read more

Did a dine-in at the "new" Chicken N Chips, and it was spot-on all the way. The signature 3 piece bone-in chicken was perfectly done. Generous-sized breast, thigh and wing, with cole slaw and delicious French fries, served on the side. My companion had the 2 piece with Jo- jo potatoes that were delicious as well. Order at the counter and the food will be delivered to your table. The new owner was very congenial, and the place is clean and comfortable. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. read more

The chicken is so delicious and fresh! My little ones are picky eaters, so they only eat the chicken form here!! Also, it's an excellent option for a big family!! read more

After several trips here, I have finally come to enjoy the chicken fingers. This is one of the few places in the Manchester/Nashua area to get decent chicken fingers to go. These could use a bit more seasoning...and, thus, flavor...but...all in all, they are not too bad...and have a reasonable price as well. Other reviewers have commented on teh decor...and I would agree...a bit run down. Fortunately, I am usually doing a hit and run...pick up the chicken fingers and head home type meal. read more

The owner of this place is just plain rude !! I have been ordering for a long time . I ordered the past 3 to 4 weeks and always have been charged 20.00 for my order . The owner then says his prices changed 6 weeks ago and tells me I didn't order last week . Having a argument with a customer is not a way to keep a customer !!!! read more

Consider Chicken'n Chips in the category of fast food restaurants - thus I'm scoring it in this relative genre. The restaurant itself probably deserves only three stars, but they are getting 4 for their environmental activism. More on that later. I've never actually had any of their chicken since I'm an ovo-lacto-pesce vegetarian, but their fish nuggets are really quite good (actual fish!), and they have great tartar sauce. The fries suffer, somewhat, usually being a little dry and somewhat overcooked. My biggest complaint is that the restaurant is perpetually cold and it is uncomfortable to stay there long enough to eat a meal, and that's after getting over the somewhat bleak and dumpy atmosphere. They also lose points for not having fountain soda - instead it comes in canned form. But consider this place and break out of the standard fast food trifecta with something a little bit different, definitely local, and whose owners wholeheartedly support biodiesel as an energy source, having converted their delivery VW Bugs over to running on fryolater grease. Big kudos for social responsibility! This restaurant deserves your business. Just get it to go. read more

Awful! I think they use old rancid oils. Gravy was runny, the mashed potatoes were hard and the coleslaw wasn't fresh! The staff is less than friendly and slow. Watch them closely because after I left they added a $2 tip to my bill. read more

DISGUSTING!! chicken is fried like French fries not pressure fried like the original way, 40 years ago they did it right and good! This is SLOOP! Not good for a PIG to eat. read more

I ordered a chicken wing dinner and chic sticks dinner it was the worse that I have ever had! I remember years ago that place was the best for chicken but since its changed hands it is the worst the chicken had no flavor and was so dry I threw most of it away I will never order from here again and if you are searching for good chicken I suggest you dont order from here this place is horrible!!! read more

Good chicken fingers and little potato quarters called 'jo jo's". The cranberry sauce makes this whole experience worthwhile. Parking is tough.. I can never really figure out if i have to pay those meters in the back or not... I like how this place uses their grease to power their cars for delivery. EARTH SMART!! Haven't eaten here since about 2 years ago when I commuted to Nashua for college, but I remember really getting excited to eat here for lunch :) read more

I called chicken and chips for the first time in a long time. A woman Karen answer the phone and she was so pleasant and wonderful other places of called they're always so rude I'm just want you to hurry up but Karen was wonderful so thank you. read more

Best chicken i've ever had hands down! I ordered the tender pack a few weeks ago for delivery and my family that had never ordered from there before and they couldn't believe how incredibly juicy and tender it was! They also said it was the best chicken they've ever had! I've also ordered the seafood plate a bunch of times and its very good! Coleslaw is fantastic and fish, scallops and shrimp are really good! read more

I got an order from them and they made a mistake and wouldn't fix it and they were rude to me and hung up on me. I tried to call back and they still wouldn't fix the problem. This store is in Nashua NH. I had to call by bank and stop payment.. I will never go there again. People be ware. Not only that the food is really greasy. read more

A little pricey, the fries are greasy but the chicken was good they approach the whole chicken thing differently, I will say I would eat here again. read more

We ordered last night and spent over $70. It was the worst i have ever had. Chicken was so dry , fries good, oinon rings terrible. I will never eat there again. The rest of my family said the same thing. I have been going there since they opened but never again. The price for 5 small dinners terrible. Done so done read more

I'm a lifelong Nashua resident. I remember coming here as a child and my mom picking this up for dinner. Nostalgia made me walk through the door. The place looked exactly as it did 20+ years ago. I mean it looks like they haven't changed the carpets or cleaned them in that long. It was incredibly dirty. The food was greasy and expensive for the quality. I can't believe this place passes health codes. I felt really sick all weekend after eating here. Nostalgia made me do it. Don't make the same mistake I did! read more

Bad, tasteless food. My husband and I used to go here all the time, but no more. The chicken is poor quality (i.e. fatty, slimy) and the batter has zero flavor. It's disappointing because we know how good they USED to be. I guess that's what multiple owners does to a once local gem. read more

I must write a bad review. The most basic concept is to filter your fryer oil. The oil here is WAY beyond fresh. Go elsewhere. read more

Ok so went to chicken and chips tonight waited 45 minutes rather than the 20 minutes it was supposed to be while waiting determined the gentleman on the front line was on some sort of drugs very scary!! got home order was completely wrong called the place and was BEGGED to wait till tomorrow for all sorts of free food declined and returned immediately for the rest of my order door was locked had to be let in from the drug adict got back home again and threw all the food out. STAY AWAY FROM CHICKEN AND CHIPS dangerous!!!!!! read more

After walking around for a place to eat, we stumbled upon this place and the name sounded so intriguing. The place was empty around lunchtime but it was also a Thursday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and patient as we reviewed the menu. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. They advertise chips on their menu so we ordered those and an order of hot wings. The sauce for the wings was decent but the "chips" are just chicken tenders. The chicken was frozen, for sure. Overall decent, quick and cheap however it's just a 2 star place. Inside is old and outdated and could use a deep clean. Parking is in the back but there is also street parking should you need it. read more

I went there on a whim yesterday and was pleasantly suprised. I got the fried chicken meal which was a hearty portion with fries and a side of coleslaw. The seasoning was sorely lacking, but I am not suprised based on the the fact that we are in NH. Prices are reasonable and the wait was not that bad. Nice hole in the wall place to sit down and eat as well. read more

This review is about their customer service, which is horrible. They were very ruin on the phone, no thank you for calling, no is there anything else you would like. It was basically hurry up tell him what you want and hope because he was rushing you off the phone that you didn't forget anything. Conversation ended with ok, CLICK. This place may have good chicken but will loose business quickly if their employees aren't a little more personable and polite on the phone. read more

Tried this place for the first time, the chick sticks were excellent. good fries and excellent cole slaw. the clerk was helpful at the counter. I forgot my coupon and thought i was SOL when he offered to give me the discount anyways. it was only $2 off my $18 order but I appreciated it. I would have given 5 stars but the complimentary rolls were only so so. I will return and spread the word to my friends. read more

So we went there for the first time recently. No wonder why they are famous around nashua! So delicious! I cant wait to go again!

I tried this place recently after getting a flyer in the mail. The food was okay, not great, especially for the price. I got some chicken stix which were stringy, but they tasted good although they reminded me of eating Tyson chicken tenders. To make matters worse I asked for sauce and when I got home found they forgot to put it in the bag :( read more

I just called to place an order for delivery, the girl who answered was fantastic. I usually get names but because I was in a foul mood l didn't even hear her name (I'm regretting that now). I haven't even received the food yet (which is always delicious) but her sunny disposition changed my mood. I could hear her smile through the phone. I hope this gets to her and the managers/owners. The food is always wonderful. My evening will be better because of her kindness. read more

I agree with others that it was better under the old management, but it is still really good. I love their chicken sticks and honey mustard dipping sauce. Not sure exactly why it tastes different now, but I would have given the old place at least 4 stars. Still, it's worth eating here if you are in the area. read more

I love the chicken stix. They are chicken tenders and fries and I get like 6 different sauces. Delicious. Raspberry cheesecake too. I don't think they make it there but I don't care it's really good. A little expensive though. But definitely worth it read more

Worse chicken I have ever had , new to Nashua and tried this place and will never go back, $20.00 for chicken and fries and taste terrible the chicken look like what they would use in cat/dog food, out of the 12 piece that I got three of them were not edible threw it all in the trash. I can not say how terrible this food is and nobody should try it again they need to be shut down. read more
