Came up from FL and out went for an early Mother's day dinner with 2 of my sons + others. (6…read moretotal). Food: i couldnt find too much on the menu that really stood out that i HAD to try. I asked the waitress which she would pick, Hot honey chicken or the fish & chips? I went with her suggestion and got the Hot Honey Chicken Stack.. it wasnt the best. Chicken was a little over cooked and I had a hard time cutting it. And the taste was just blah.. nothing special to write about.. Def pick something else on the menu. The others all got different things and they all liked there meals. The tater tots and sweet potato fries were great side choices. My husband got the steak and cheese crunch melt.. and I don't know if it's just cuz he loves food or if it ws actually good, but he devoured it (he did mention to say it was good). 2 others got steak tips with mashed and broccoli, no complaints and the other 2 got a club and a chicken ranch Handheld. They all enjoyed their meals. Service: its was mediocre. Nothing to brag about. Noone went over and above for me to mention about. Only one check back after our food eas delivered, until it was time to drop off check. Ambiance: its your typical American sports bar scenery. Huge bar throughout the whole place. Pretty busy. I honestly wish I had something more exciting to say about the place. Maybe next t time ill try a dessert and hopefully that will be exciting..

Wings: Good on quantity, but kinda soggy and not much texture, as if they were quickly reheated frozen tenders that just happened to have bones. Burger: A little better. Nice double smash with just enough crust and a moist interior. Nothing special beef blend-wise. Puffy bun. Minimal melt on the cheese. Fries: An easy $1 add-on to the burger but very very processed, and the coated kind to boot.

Service at tables is sub par, slow and not managed well. Not one visit. Multiple visits. We've been there more than a dozen times. It's such a unique place that I want to succeed desperately. Sometimes it is full and super busy but overtime. Some of these issues will catch up with them. It's a management issue. Food is consistent, tasty pub food at a relatively good price point. The challenge is food getting to the table in reasonable timeframes, hot and on time (apps not arriving at the same time as main course). There is an issue with the clarity of the service model. This past Sunday evening is a great example. Not busy. Server more focused on closing at 5:45pm than our table. Didn't see for long periods. We were at a table next to the bar and I saw our beers and wine.l sit there. I ended up getting them myself. One of our three appetizers came out ahead of time the other two arrived with dinner and they were warm at best. When dinner did arrive, the onion rings were cold. There seemed to be a manager, more concerned about busing our table and less about our status. In a past visit, a manager acknowledged the challenges we had and offered a gift certificate. I said it wasn't necessary. I just want to provide the feedback because I love the venue, the beer and the pub food. What is necessary is how fundamentally look at how they serve their customers consistently.

It is such a cute establishment and it was Busy at the bar. They have a lot of good beer options you can select for your beer flight. The beer flights you choose from is a 4oz pour. The flights is 4 beers. They neatly write up all the beers on the chalkboard. He also have karaoke! We got the white chocolate, cider, donut, Magic, sour apple. Sour apple and the cider donut was delicious for my taste buds personally but they all are good. It was so fun to try and taste with my family. The food was exceptional and everything came out very fast. The Caesar salad was huge and it comes with fried chicken or grilled chicken. The new honey chicken wrap was exceptional. I loved all the layers of flavor inside this wrap. It comes with a side of sweet potatoes and salad. You could use your dressing from Italian or ranch and balsamic. No let me tell you about the PBJ burger, it was different and the finish was sweet but it's delicious and it didn't clash at all. The wings were very tasty and the fries were also seasoned well. Parking is free and open. Let me get started on this pretzel flight. Absolutely delicious. 4 long pretzels, well and salt perfectly. Three sides of sauce and one cheese and I forgot the third. Highly recommend however 10/10

Every once in a while, you come across a particular pool hall complete with a full bar that ends up…read moreholding a special place in your heart. A place where you can just shoot pool for hours, eat above average bar food, and chill. When we lived in El Paso, Clicks Billiards was that place. We weren't sure we'd ever find a place like that again after moving. Then....we found Maxamillians Billiards. And if first impressions mean anything, I believe we've just discovered our new favorite watering hole. One thing I did not expect a pool hall to serve was brick oven pizza. Right off the bat, that's a bonus star in my book! Oh, for those wondering, the pizza was excellent, btw! A thin crust perfectly toasted accompanied by a slightly sweet (but not too sweet) sauce which compliments the cheese brilliantly! Sharing some properties of traditional NY style pizza, I'd certainly give this one a 10 out of 10. The buffalo wings weren't too shabby either. Tangy sauce with just enough kick to be not too spicy. I couldn't find a single thing wrong with these ones; 10 out of 10, would recommend. Now then....when it comes to service, it's surprisingly good. For the most part. We *did* have a slight hiccup in the beginning when I ordered a Cab and the lady brings back what appears to be a Chardonnay. How in the hell you confuse Cabernet for Chardonnay, I'll never know. But I don't hold it against her entirely. Because, believe it or not, this isn't the first place to have done that to me. It's just that I'll never, EVER understand how anyone confuses the two. And I definitely spoke loud enough for her to hear me. Other than that though, service was great. I do wish she had came by a little more often so that I could reorder drinks. But to be honest, it seems as though the servers here are slightly overwhelmed. See, I believe there were maybe 3 attendants for the entire series of pool tables running that evening. You also have to keep in mind this place has a full bar to boot. As in...one you'd expect to see at a regular restaurant. In other words, these servers definitely have their work cut out for them. So naturally, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and exuded a zen-like patience. Plus, she was wicked sweet. So, we gave her a generous tip. Speaking of which, there's also an onsite ATM in the front by the entrance for anyone in need of cash. And a lotto machine to boot. How New England of them. XD For those wondering, this pool hall does have a private parking lot. I know that can be a concern for some when visiting Mass establishments. Though that tends to mostly depend on the city you're visiting. Though wifey and I will always miss Clicks Billiards back in El Paso, Maxamillians Billiards is a more than suitable replacement for us. And I am giving them 5 crispy cheese pizzas baked to perfection in a brick oven out of 5.

The menu of Indian street food was simply delightful, that all of us who tried it kept saying, "oh my gosh" as we had four different dishes. Pani puri was super refreshing (I would like to just drink the cilantro water), the Mumbai puri had so much flavor with the tamarind and yogurt, and the samosa chaat was the favorite, as it had samosas buried in toppings. Just delightful. The beer was good too, but the food clearly blew everything out of the water. Getting to finish off the meal with affordable 1oz pours of TH Handy rye and Old Fitzgerald 11 was a fantastic experience. You can tell the servers are very proud of their Indian food too. We are absolutely coming back to try more!

Don't get me wrong, I like this place. The bartender was great, and the drinks and beers were…read moregood. The atmosphere is always ok. The problem that I have is with their Reuben sandwich. I'm sorry, but this is the saddest Reuben I have ever seen. The bread is dry (possibly stale), and the Reuben is made out of pastrami, not corned beef - but that isn't necessarily the bad part. I didn't see the sandwich being prepared, but I bet I can tell you their process: toast some bread, no butter, just dry. Now take some pastrami out of the cooler and put it on the bread. Now run that through a toaster oven/salamander oven to heat it (this dries the meat and curls it up), then add some sauerkraut (which had zero flavor) and top it with some form of Thousand Island dressing (again, no flavor). Now, toss that top piece of bread on the sandwich, put it on a plate, and send it out to the customer. If you are expecting a NY Deli-style Reuben sandwich, you are in for a letdown. The Ruben should be served with bread that has been liberally buttered and then cooked in a frying pan (preferably cast iron), which gives the bread a nice crunch. That hot, crunchy bread is now a delicious outer layer to the juicy, tasty corned beef with tangy sauerkraut and fresh Russian or Thousand Island dressing. That's not what you'll get at this place - so move on to something else on the menu. And, almost forgot: no cheese! A Reuben should have Swiss cheese. If you are going to deviate so much from what a Reuben should be, don't call it "Ped's Reuben," call it "Ped's Dry Meat Sandwich on Dry Toasted Bread" - because it ain't a Reuben. Hey Peddler's: you're better than this - try harder, because your Reuben kinda sucks. My wife always gets the fish and chips. She is particular when we go out to eat, but she always likes your fish and chips. So overall: I like this place... but the Reuben... don't order it if you really know what a Reuben can/should be - you will be disappointed. It's a throwback, but the best Reuben sandwich I've had outside of NYC was back in the 1990's at a place called the Dili Dali Deli on Rt 38 in Tewksbury, MA (just about in Lowell). That place was great! Wherever those people who ran that place are today, you should know that I judge all Reubens based on your version of this classic sandwich. So far, no one has come close to the quality you prepared at that little deli, which typically had a counter 3-4 people deep at lunchtime - and you cranked out SO MUCH DELICIOUS FOOD, all with smiles on your faces!
