Good menu, yummy food, very good service, good vibes. What more could one expect from a super breakfast experience? Oh yeah, the good company. Highly recommend.

YUM. I have been to the Cambridge location before but never this one. Very spacious here and fun decorations in friendly toast fashion. The food was great and menu had a LOT of options that I was v interested in. I ended up getting the Medley Crue, add avocado which was DELISH. Our server was great, the only gripe I had was that it took a LONG time to be seated on a Tuesday at 12ish. There was 8 of us, but a lot of tables empty - I get it people are short staffed and can't fill their tables but from arrival to departure j think we were here for just under two hours. Which I'm all for on a Saturday morning when I have all the time in the world. Anyways, I'll be back to dive more into this menu but this place sure does get busy.

You can't go wrong with their ultimate breakfast with cinnamon raisin french toast.

Having eaten at their Portsmouth restaurant as many times as possible, I was excited to visit this Friendly Toast, and I was not disappointed. We took advantage of the Yelp "Get On The Waitlist" option, which allowed our commute time to reduce our actual wait time there by about 2/3. The restaurant is huge (it was previously a Fuddruckers) and the decor is fun**3. The menu is pretty much the same at all of their restaurants, meaning way too many good choices. This time I went with their classic Monster Breakfast. Our meals came out quickly, and everything was, of course, delicious. One thing that surprised me was that instead of servers coming around with carafes to refill your coffee, each time you wanted more, you got a fresh cup. We had a terrific server as well, which made the experience even better. When I'm in the area, there are places I could get to more quickly for breakfast/brunch, but I'd rather take the few extra minutes and drive here.

Very friendly as well as quick service from a large menu. Great breakfast at an affordable price. I visited maybe twice or three times even. I my wife and baby both are quite a bit and enjoyed it. We had first busy and the 12 of us were quickly waited on and got exactly what we wanted very quickly. I feel like if your looking for a quality and fast breakfast for the family-this is it. You have enough time to get comfortable in your birth, enough options to enjoy what you want and your out the door at a pace that makes sense

I liked the vibe. It was really cool. Also the omelette was good... however... I don't know what feta cheese they're using cuz it's kinda sus. Anyways the ENGLISH MUFFIN WAS BUSSSINGG THO.

The drinks are the thing to go for when you're here. I got the seasonal special - drunken pumpkin latte. It was strong while still being exactly what it's advertised as, a spiked pumpkin latte. The Irish red eye had a rich coffee taste and it is a must have. Great way to start the brunch! The food was just regular breakfast food, but what set them apart are the home fries! They're so well seasoned and flavorful, I could literally just eat a bowl of those. The pancakes weren't as fluffy as they could be , but they weren't bad.

    Morning drink specials.

Tastes watered down. REGARDLESS, ALL THE STARS IN THE WORLD for their drinks. The peach shaken ice tea and raspberry rose teas have every complex note they describe. I'm jaded by all the fruity drinks/tea blends out there that are just too sweet and artificial. Nan's makes it perfectly. The white peach actually shines through, which is rare in my experience. The raspberry is REAL. Speaking as someone who enjoys artificial raspberry flavors of jam donuts and bottled ice tea...idk if Nan's makes it for real, but, if so, you can taste it! You still taste the tea, the fruits, the florals, it's not watered down, and best of all--not overtly sweet. Their fruit drinks have the perfect balance. It's genuinely refreshing and delicious. I find myself craving their teas all the time!!

**We found our new favorite spot!**…read more My partner and I stumbled upon Nan's Kitchen and what a delightful discovery it was! As first-timers, we were treated with such warmth and patience by the staff - no pressure, no rush, just genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. We started by sharing the hatch chili farro bowl with roasted cauliflower and hominy, fragrant ginger carrots, and lemon mustard salmon. The tomato harissa sauce and zhoug were absolutely incredible - seriously, these sauces are to die for! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were so well-balanced. Pictures are not perfect, but the lighting was so warm and comfortable, you will have to excuse them! Halfway through our meal, I spotted they had coconut carrot soup with chickpeas and ginger on the menu and literally ran back to order a cup. We ended up sharing that too, and it was such a smart move - the soup was aromatic and comforting with just the right amount of spice from the ginger. To drink, we had fresh lemonade and iced tea (both perfectly refreshing), and couldn't resist finishing with their banana pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. What really stood out beyond the exceptional food was how accommodating and friendly the service was. They made splitting dishes feel completely natural and were so welcoming when I dashed back for that soup! The attention to flavor and seasoning here is remarkable - every single component of our meal was thoughtfully prepared. We're already planning our next visit. Nan's Kitchen has absolutely earned a permanent spot on our regular rotation! Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared food with service that makes you feel like family.

When we were in the process of losing our soul mate of a dog to lung cancer they would go above and beyond for our random orders and would always try to bring a smile to our face when we would pick it up. Ya know, I once navigated to this place on accident before? Yeah. Still not sure what my GPS was…read moredoing that day. Because I normally go to the one in Salem. But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.

For drinks I ordered the lychee martini and chai-tini buzz. The lychee martini was a little too sweet and the chai martini was too milky for my liking. There are a lot of interesting cocktails on the menu so I'd like to try something different next time. For food I ordered the Samosa Bliss and the iron pan (kadhai) hit with paneer and a side of garlic naan. The samosas were delicious: crispy on the outside and well-seasoned on the inside with a tangy sauce. The paneer was excellent in terms of portion size and texture. I would have preferred basmati rice with the entree instead of the yellow rice and more garlic on the naan, but overall it was a satisfying meal. There isn't a dessert menu but they have a case with a variety of Indian sweets. Service was very attentive and felt like you were eating at a family's home. Lots of nearby street parking. As with many older New England buildings, the entrance is a little tight and has a few steps so it may be difficult for some people to enter. I look forward to visiting again!
