Smokeshack (delicious, hefty) and Mango Berry smoothie (sweet, flavorful)
    Madeleine B.

Grabbed takeout for breakfast. Vibe: Small lobby with pickup shelf, counter, and narrow passage to some seating behind the kitchen. It's an awkward space. Service: Fairly fast especially since they were very busy. Food: The Smokeshack breakfast sandwich was hefty and delicious. The bagel was soft and not the highest quality but the fillings were very good. The Mango Berry smoothie was rather sweet with very vibrant flavors, would recommend. Value: This was not a cheap breakfast with the sandwich for $11 and the smoothie for $9, that said the quality was good. Accessibility: There is a medium covered parking area right outside. Overall this was a delicious breakfast with great portions, not the most affordable for regular breakfast but worth a visit every once in a while.

I've eaten her twice, one inside and one having it catered for lunch. Both instances I had a great experience! They cook with quality ingredients. There is plenty to choose from on the menu. The food is delicious and flavorful. The inside is casual and modern. Plenty of seating to dine in. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be eating here again!

I loveee this place. Whenever I'm in the area I want to come here for breakfast. They have a great coffee selection. I've never had their lunch but the breakfast is incredible. I love their basic egg sandwich, the eggs are freshly cooked and the bun is so buttery. Despite how busy they get, this location is always fast.

WOW!!! expensive but delicious - definitely a must try in andover. the coffee (not pictured) was delicious and my sandwich was delicious as well - i love most chicken sandwiches but this one was a MUST have. definitely a great breakfast/lunch spot to get food with the gals and to gab for a minute. fills up relatively fast so coming on the earlier side is recommended.

As a first time visitor from out of town, I was so impressed with this place! First- great customer service! They're friendly, upbeat, and everything comes flying out of the kitchen. They did great accommodating my gluten allergy- they even have a separate fryer for g.f orders. Food is tasty, coffee is delicious...overall a great experience!

As someone visiting from out of town, I rely heavily on Yelp reviews to help me find the best local spots for everything from breakfast to dinner. Today was no different. I made a 17-minute trip from my hotel to Crack'd Kitchen and Coffee, a place with glowing five-star reviews. Located in what felt like a hospital parking lot, the spot was crowded and clearly popular with locals. It's definitely geared more toward takeout--there isn't much seating, so it seems to cater primarily to professionals in the area looking for a quick grab-and-go option. I ordered the Basic Sandwich with added bacon, along with a small cereal coffee (think Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk with espresso). We also tried the açaí mixed berry bowl and a large iced coffee. The coffees were solid, but the sandwich? Honestly, it tasted like something I could've picked up at Dunkin'--for a lot less. We spent about $32 on a breakfast that felt pretty underwhelming overall. Service-wise, it was more of a self-serve experience. You order at the counter, grab your food, and find a seat--if you can. That said, the staff member who cleared the tables was kind and friendly. All in all, I was disappointed. This felt like another example of how Boston's five-star Yelp spots don't always deliver. Maybe the hidden gems are actually the three-star spots? If you're looking for a memorable breakfast, I'd say skip this one and just swing by Dunkin'.

Was looking for a good breakfast sandwich this morning and I settled on crack'd. First time here and I was impressed when I walked through the door. The place is so clean and the staff was so friendly. The menu is huge and has a ton of original items I wasn't expecting. There is something for everyone here. I are in for a breakfast sandwich and ended up ordering that and a few other things. I ordered the live free or die sandwich, has browns, a breakfast egg roll and an ice coffee. The place was really busy so I was expecting to wait but it was ready in under 10 minutes. The sandwich was delicious. Crispy bacon on a nice soft brioche roll with a perfectly runny egg. The sandwich was near perfect. The hash browns really surprised me. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and seasoned perfectly. They were so good. I could not not order a breakfast egg roll. Just having this on the menu makes me love this place. It was just ok. It needed more meat and more seasoning. It he coffee was good. This place has options for seating. You can sit inside or outside, on the patio or on the grass, at a table, a counter lawn chair or picnic table. Crack'd is delicious and I'm not the only one that thinks so because this place is busy.

Amazing latte! I got the pistachio white mocha latte with oat milk. I also offered the hash brown bowl very flavorful!

Avocado toast was amazing! Added an egg. Textures were perfect (crunch and full of flavor). Honey siracha elevated the dish. So yummy!

A great breakfast spot with shockingly good fried chicken. Which makes for a really good chicken breakfast burrito.

Amazing food and service was very fast. Outdoor seating was also really nice. Only downside is that it's pretty expensive.

The baked goods were definitely the highlight, I loved everything I tried on the food side. I saw they have ice cream as well! The latte was not great, I think maybe it's a machine or something. The milk was not steamed or anything like that, so lattes are not their strong suit. Coffee and tea, however, looked great, I'll likely try those next.

The lattes are especially good and always perfectly made. Their food is just as great. The chicken shawarma is my go-to for lunch--flavorful, fresh, and reasonably priced. But what really impressed me were the pastries. I once ordered a selection of cakes and pastries for a family birthday, and everything was beautifully made and absolutely delicious. The pistachio baklava was the highlight--so good that people were literally competing for the last piece. I used to live in this neighborhood a long time ago and have seen a lot of businesses come and go in this little corner of Ballardvale. Lulu's is easy to miss since it's near the train tracks, but it's absolutely worth finding. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and welcoming--once, I was late picking up an order because of traffic, and they stayed open just to make sure I got my food. That kind of service is rare. It's also great to finally have more diverse food options in the Andover area, and Lulu's Lunchbox is a fantastic addition. If you're looking for a spot with great coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere, definitely check them out.

Tastes watered down. REGARDLESS, ALL THE STARS IN THE WORLD for their drinks. The peach shaken ice tea and raspberry rose teas have every complex note they describe. I'm jaded by all the fruity drinks/tea blends out there that are just too sweet and artificial. Nan's makes it perfectly. The white peach actually shines through, which is rare in my experience. The raspberry is REAL. Speaking as someone who enjoys artificial raspberry flavors of jam donuts and bottled ice tea...idk if Nan's makes it for real, but, if so, you can taste it! You still taste the tea, the fruits, the florals, it's not watered down, and best of all--not overtly sweet. Their fruit drinks have the perfect balance. It's genuinely refreshing and delicious. **We found our new favorite spot!**…read more My partner and I stumbled upon Nan's Kitchen and what a delightful discovery it was! As first-timers, we were treated with such warmth and patience by the staff - no pressure, no rush, just genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. We started by sharing the hatch chili farro bowl with roasted cauliflower and hominy, fragrant ginger carrots, and lemon mustard salmon. The tomato harissa sauce and zhoug were absolutely incredible - seriously, these sauces are to die for! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were so well-balanced. Pictures are not perfect, but the lighting was so warm and comfortable, you will have to excuse them! Halfway through our meal, I spotted they had coconut carrot soup with chickpeas and ginger on the menu and literally ran back to order a cup. We ended up sharing that too, and it was such a smart move - the soup was aromatic and comforting with just the right amount of spice from the ginger. To drink, we had fresh lemonade and iced tea (both perfectly refreshing), and couldn't resist finishing with their banana pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. What really stood out beyond the exceptional food was how accommodating and friendly the service was. They made splitting dishes feel completely natural and were so welcoming when I dashed back for that soup! The attention to flavor and seasoning here is remarkable - every single component of our meal was thoughtfully prepared. We're already planning our next visit. Nan's Kitchen has absolutely earned a permanent spot on our regular rotation! Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared food with service that makes you feel like family.
