The D&F Mule Sandwich customized with bacon, pepper jack and chipotle sauce
    Petra E.

I've eaten here quite a few times and always enjoyed the food, but today I had a standout five star breakfast sandwich. I ordered the D&F Mule on ciabatta with egg, pepper jack, bacon and chipotle sauce. no idea what made it so good but I will absolutely be getting this again. They also have great coffee and are one of the few places to offer individual serving catering dishes for Thanksgiving which is super convenient for a small gathering. I also saw a roasted balsamic brussel sprout breakfast bowl posted on their specials board that I hope will stick around until I get back. I keep forgetting to check under specials which they do post online and end up missing these. The specials at Good Day always look great, so be sure to check that section if using online ordering or planning ahead. These guys are counter service and as a popular coffee shop they do get busy, but they work efficiently. Ordering ahead can help if in a hurry - the pick up is on the side. It's a cute place in the old mill building. You can pop into a little mechanical display area in the mill if interested in seeing up close how the old manufacturing worked. Small display, but fun to look at.

    Amazing food

We used Good Day for catering our Mother's Day brunch. It was soooooo good. The quiche was like I made it. Awesome cinnamon rolls, spinach feta croissants & the best fruit salad I have ever bought. I will be using Good Day again for graduation.

Seriously? Push all my buttons, why don't you?!

We're vegan and we liked the avocado toast. They also had non dairy milk options for the coffee.

My absolute favorite item to get at the Good Day Cafe would have to be the "Donut Muffin" it is absolutely to die for!

When we were in the process of losing our soul mate of a dog to lung cancer they would go above and beyond for our random orders and would always try to bring a smile to our face when we would pick it up. She wouldn't eat so we would call & ask for plain unseasoned grilled chicken or just bacon or whatever it was they always helped us out. Her last meal was bacon on the beach (her favorite place). Thank you for the amazing service.

Ya know, I once navigated to this place on accident before? Yeah. Still not sure what my GPS was…read moredoing that day. Because I normally go to the one in Salem. But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.
