Terrible food ice cold. I have had better looking food in the field in the army - A foam takeout container holds fried potatoes topped with gravy, and two poached eggs on sausage patties, served in a diner-style setting.

Absolutely horrendous. Ordered food from here because it looked half way decent given the area but was sadly mistaken. The sausage patty was so cold as if it saw maybe 20 seconds in the microwave.

Very enjoyable diner with the 60's feel with all the designs and memorabilia to match it. Very good breakfast. Had the Mediterranean omelette with home fries and wheat toast to go along with coffee. Very fresh. They use cage free eggs. Service with excellent. Just and overall unique diner.

Part of the 2,2,2 breakfast--huge yummy pancakes!

We were traveling from Boston to New Hampshire and wanted a quick breakfast. It wasn't necessarily quick, but our waitress was super funny and attentive and the food was really good!

    Menu price

Menu prices are not accurate. The server advised that the prices had changed but minimized it by saying they hadn't gone up much. The truth is that the power breakfast went up nearly 60% in price! That is something I would have like to have been told prior to ordering. It is not an insignificant cost increase. $20 for breakfast is insane! Also, the bathroom is not heated and was very cold on this December morning. Besides that, the ceiling has water damage spots and my plastic water glass was missing chunks out of the rim. I don't expect much from a breakfast place but if they plan to charge $20 for a breakfast the facilities should match. The food itself is average diner food and the service was friendly.

    2 2 2 breakfast special

This was fine but pretty basic. It'll do if you want breakfast on the road, but nothing any better or different than you could easily make for yourself at home for a much cheaper cost. There is street parking which was easy for me to find but I don't know if that's always true. I got the 2, 2, 2 special which is 2 eggs, 2 meats (sausage or bacon) and 2 french toast or pancakes with coffee. It was a decent deal and was pretty filling for about $7. It was almost impossible to get any coffee though, partially the one waitress seemed busy and partially there seemed to be a lot of regulars and they got taken care of first. The 50s decor was fine, but a little kitschy. Their photo on their site shows nice white tables but ours were completely covered in ads, which is typical of a diner but still a bit tacky. It's apparently a diner from 1928 but looks like the 1950s. Did the constantly update decor for 20 years then thought "nah this decade is where it stops." It really advertises it's old but that doesn't add to the ambiance which looks basic/fake old anyway. So the food was fine, for a diner it was fine, they are usually pretty safe/standard/basic/serviceable and this fit into that, but no more.

Ordered breakfast to go. Food is always good when we come here so though to go food will be good too. I ask for a order of corned beef hash and it's in edible. SunnySide what happened?

(but got the sauce and cole slaw on the side - which I would recommend personally). The slaw was not good imo. I don't know if this batch was off, but a good slaw should be vinegar based...little bit of a sweet flavor to it - this tasted off...but since it was on the side, I just tried a few bites and then tossed it. The sauce is good-I think that is Thousand Island/Russian dressing-based and I like it-but since I brought it home we just put mayo on it and that is amazing! I think I saw smoky mayo as an option and we hope to eat in restaurant sometime and I will try it then and update our review. We also got a large chicken finger and split that. Two of us didn't need to eat all the chicken since we split the sandwich and weren't starving...I thought they gave us a fair amount of chicken...hope they don't change that. I think right now they are at a fair price point-not cheap but in line with what you would expect given the cost of food these days. Anyway, the chicken fingers are amazing. The best way I could describe it is if KFC original chicken and a fancier fried chicken place had a baby...that is the taste-refined but not so refined that people who like fast food won't like it. It's so tender it must be brined for awhile. 5-stars. Can't wait to try it for dinner with mashed and a biscuit. TLDR - Excellent chicken. Good Nan sauce. Not sure why honey mustard not an option for sauces for fingers. Pass on the slaw.

The menu is classic but with a few twists. Definitely count on some nice looking specials not on the menu, too. There is parking right out front but we grabbed a space on the other side of the street. If you do that not that there seem to be both one and two hour spaces so be sure to pick the right one. We also tried the breakfast bánh mì, which was buttery and flaky, layered with fresh veggies and savory protein--simple but done really well. To top it off, the Vietnamese iced coffee was strong, smooth, and not overly sweet--exactly how it should be. Perfect pairing with the sandwiches. But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.
