I'm pleased to update my review from a few years ago, from 3 stars to 5. The consistency of the food here has been elevated to a reliable "exceptional", and this is a favorite for me and my husband when we feel like grabbing a sandwich. In particular, we love that the wraps are never over-dressed or wet. The bread is crisply toasted and when you bite into it, you don't get a juicy waterfall on your shirt. Stopped by today, grabbed a breakfast sandwich and a bagel. Realized I did not receive the sandwich, but another bagel & cream cheese. Went back in, explained I got a bagel & It was supposed to be a bacon, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin. The guy behind the counter asked me if I wanted him to remove the cream cheese lol yes. Got home, realized he switched the bagel completely, to an Asiago. Rather than just make the sandwich on a cinnamon raisin, as ordered. Fine, it's whatever. BUT. My bagel & cream cheese, half way through- I got this bite with an immediate odd taste, that made my mouth feel odd. Started gagging. I at first thought it may have been a chemical or something? Nope. Just mold!! I can still taste it. So disgusted. read more

We got the guacalicious panini and it was SO good! It's on whole bread with turkey, guacamole, Swiss, bacon, tomato, lettuce, and Mayo. I ordered outside my comfort zone and I'm not disappointed. Lots of flavor, and not dry like some turkey sandwiches are. I washed it down with a chai tea, equally good! They have so many sandwich, tea, and coffee options. I came in on a Friday at 10:30 and the place was hopping, the energy was high, especially among the staff, hipsterish 20 somethings, talkative and friendly. I was called "brother" at least twice (e.g., "how's everything brother?" as my plate was cleared). I ordered a cappuccino which wasn't great, just a blank pallet of foam and not flavorful enough, but my veggie cheese omelet was very good (garlic, onion, spinach, tomatos). The interior was Woodstock meets turn of century New England mill town. All exposed brick and golden tin ceiling plus entire blackboard menu wall behind counter with offerings like Bohemian Wrapsody and Guacalicious. WBC would have 5 stars if they kicked up their cappuccino game--or maybe if they added a Grateful Dead themed dish to the menu. read more

Probably my all-time favorite cafe! And that's saying something, as a former barista. I started coming here August 2021 and I regret ever going anywhere else before then! The staff is the kindest I've ever met; And not in a fake way, either. I stop by every so often with my boyfriend and we both agree that their coffee is unbeatable. These guys are also apparently owned by the same person over at Kaldi's, which makes sense-- The pastries are delicious at both! My go-to has been whatever the speciality coffees containing lavender are (with oat milk, of course) and a plain bagel with cream cheese. Simple, but these guys know how to make them good. If I didn't live so far, I'd come more often but if you're nearby, definitely try them out! If I lived around Haverhill, I'd definitely be one of their regulars! read more

I ordered a large coffee ($1.95), which was very good, smooth tasting and strong, though the paper cup couldv'e used a sleeve since it was very hot. I also had a Turkey Panini ($6) with chips, which was excellent, it was a grilled flatbread sandwich with roasted turkey breast, spinach, sundried tomatoes, and goat cheese. One of the best places of Haverhill. Excellent price, fair servings. Amazing and courteous staff. I didn't like my sandwich because the horse radish was just too strong for me and with ZERO fuzz they changed it and were excellent with their customer service. That just makes you feel like a valuable customer. Will come many times again for sure. read more

I've been occasionally stopping here for breakfast over the past few years. Slightly above average for breakfast sandwiches but still maybe a bit Meh. So just recently I tried this place for lunch and Wow.....so good. Their sandwiches and lunch options are excellent! I now find myself becoming a regular. Street parking is a bit of a chore (particularly in winter) but that's just what you get in downtown Haverhill. read more

I was surprised at how TASTY a small panini could be! I stopped in for a small bite before stopping by a clothing store in the area. After perusing the menu I decided to grab a wicked club panini because it had all the best things! Turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon, mayo and cheese! When it was served to me, BOY was it bigger than expected. Having a few bites already had me full so I decided to take half home. The lettuce was so crispy and fresh against the toasted bread in for the panini. It was a great balance of a turkey club mixed with the ease of a pressed panini! The service I will say was OK because after reading the menu....I should've been given some chips on the side with the sandwich. I only got the sandwich, which was fine because really I don't NEED chips, but I could've subbed it out with an apple, and I definitely would've loved it! Will I be back? Yes! The espresso is not good, at all. It tasted burnt and was made out of an automatic coffee machine not a traditional espresso type of machine. I love a good cappuccino or shot of espresso, this feel too short for me to give any higher than 3 stars. The best part of my visit was the oatmeal. It was so tasty and one of the best I have had. I have had breakfast sandwiches and they are usually pretty good. The variety is awesome, this place offers something for everyone. This place has a good variety of drinks and sandwiches. It's very clean and not too loud even when the place is full of people. They have tons of coffee syrups including seasonal ones (pumpkin, gingerbread) and are super yummy. Great variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches! I ordered the guacalicious on a gluten free wrap and it was delicious and a good size for the price (places usually up charge heavy for gluten free bread). Friendly, helpful staff too!
