I wanted breakfast, they had good choices, but I chose a chicken salad sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. It came with two pickles and some chips. My daughter ordered a breakfast meal and liked it. They have hot, cold coffees. It's in a big house with a warm home feel. People working are kind and they bring your food to you. Junk everywhere; open boxes partially emptied, random items propped on chairs rendering them unusable. Dust on every surface. Across the back, a giant black cloth tacked to the wall with random racks. Looks like a school bulletin board that's just being started. They apparently have musicians some nights and all the musical equipment is pushed against the wall. There's a large cushioned seat with an enormous banner filled up on to it, so no one could sit on it. I can't have caffeine because of a heart condition. The owners insist that their coffee is "naturally low in caffeine" and has "half the caffeine of most decaffeinated coffee". So I foolishly had a cup and suffered with palpitations for several days. A caffeine sensitive friend had a similar experience. We had bagels and they were just meh, nothing special. So I'll probably never eat there again and won't have their coffee (caffeine) but we'll probably buy the coffee for my husband and other friends. It's very good.

But how can you go wrong with simple tuna salad sandwich? We sat at a tall boy table with a view of the parking lot although there were plenty of regular tables available at that hour. Completely different experience from my first visit. The only thing that was the same was the sticker shock! Two tuna salad sandwiches with lemonade was $38!!! Sorry, I was raised to be frugal but that really seems expensive for an average weekday lunch!

I ate the whole thing which was very filling and I easily could have taken half home (it's pretty messy so more of a fork and knife deal). One person's eggs Benedict was a little overcooked, but others liked the frittata, the HUGE chicken parm (with a whole ball of burrata on top), and sandwiches on focaccia (my husband couldn't even finish half of the Salumeria). I also noted the bread that comes w/the hummus & ciabatta loaves looked great. The chocolate espresso cake and the apple crumb bar from the bakery were pretty good. We got the sfogliatella to go, which wasn't crunchy on the outside sadly (maybe it wasn't fresh?), but had a nice citrus ricotta filling and wasn't too sweet.the nitro cold brew was too strong for me, but the iced Americano was good. The Semolina raisin bread that they use for French toast wasn't for me. The classes offered sound interesting (like pasta alla Norma) and are reasonably priced. This location is only drive-thru or walk-up window. No interior. Both the 'order' window and the…read more'pick-up' window are on the street side of the building. The walk-up window is on the back where you will find a couple of parking spots. Most of them were taken (by staff?) and there is one handicapped spot at the end of the row furthest from the walk-up order window on that side of the building. Watch for cars driving around the building before crossing! The two staff members we encountered were pleasant with a smile on their face and cheerful. I ordered a hot, house blend coffee with milk, so easy and quick. They also offer a dark roast if that's your preference. The coffee was a bit bitter, but not too much (as compared to another recent take away coffee I had) so that's a win with a nice amount of milk. The drive-thru lane took a couple of minutes. Nothing crazy. As the order and pick-up windows are only a car length apart, the order is made just before you receive it, so if someone has a large order, the line would move a little bit slower. It wasn't a busy time of the day and we were only the 4th car in line so it was a pretty quick visit. If we find ourselves in need of caffeine while in the area, I would try this Aroma Joe's again.

This place popped up right over the town line in Lawrence very cool decor cool twist with the umbrellas for the overhang and also next to some restaurants, easy parking . They serve Hershey's ice cream and Horchata's decided to get the strawberry for my daughter and a chocolate milkshake for myself to touch with a chocolate milkshake adding some syrup in there on the side really gives the chocolate a good pop if you're in the area definitely recommend a small place worth your time to check out.
