We moved in across the street this week. Couldn't ask for a better cafe to have so close. Plenty of seating both indoors and out. Plenty of different options for eat and drink you can't get bored of them. Super friendly owners too! Love this place! Perfect for the morning commute. read more

Steampunk station is a charming cafe and lunch destination. Kelly is obsessed with bringing his customers home-cooked meals and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to culinary quality. He bakes the muffins and scones from scratch, curates a unique lunch special every day. I am a big fan of his Italian dishes, which are inspired by his grandparents. Don't miss out on Steampunk Station if you are in the Haverhill area! read more

Super chill place. Loved it! The vibe is very unique! Hade a great sandwich! They made an awesome soup.

What a lovely experience at this place! The owners were super friendly and talked with us the whole time. Very fresh sandwiches, soups, and even quality pre-made Italian dinners await you at this place! The design also includes a bunch of vintage furniture and other pieces to explore while you are dining in and visiting. Expect very tasty, home style cooking that will leave you feeling like a loved one made you a delicious lunch from home. These types of places will always be appreciated. We recommend getting some soups and great Italian food from here during the wintertime too! read more

We stopped in on a Sunday morning- it was our first time here and was pleasantly greeted. Its an old renovated train station, how cool is that! Order at the counter and they cook to order. We both had omelettes with home fries. Omelettes were made & seasoned perfectly. Home fries were not so good. I will stop back to try some lunch items as the soups and sandwiches posted on the menu sound very nice. read more

Very cozy old train depot with a nice selection of soups, sandwiches, and waffles. They have bubble tea and a couple of types of cookies, so a nice afternoon snack stop too. The coffees aren't fancy but they are good. Overall experience is comfortable, friendly, and satisfying. read more

The two sandwiches we got for lunch were a joke. The tuna wrap came smooshed with barely any tuna in it. The turkey club came out as a sub. A sub is not a club sandwich. The saving grace was the seafood chowder which was delicious. All in all, not worth the $32 at all. read more

The owners are so friendly, and the breakfast sandwiches are soooooo good! I only wish they opened earlier and had non-dairy creamer, and I would be there weekly. This place is Amazing!!! They have different soups daily and beware, they sell out fast! We were lucky to grab the last buffalo chicken soup, and it was hands down THE best soup I have ever had! Been here a few times and overall a good experience each time. I often get the bubble tea, which is really good. Cheeseburger soup is insanely awesome! First time visiting the Steampunk Station, good vibes from the crew. Had a nice conversation with the owner while waiting for my salad, this place has a cool history and a lot of passion went in to its opening. The coffee was great, I heard good things about the soup but opted for a cucumber salad instead. It was delicious, reasonably priced and a good portion size. Spicy too! Just how I like it. I will definitely be back and suggest anyone give it a try! read more

Very fresh, reasonable prices. Very courteous staff. Clean place, including the food prep areas. No picture menus or images of the products they make and sell. Would probably help to see a few pictures on an empty stomach. I travel much and would recommend this place as a simple, clean easy menu to satisfy one's appetite. read more

Steampunk Station - Their medium Italian, "All the way" delicious - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Haverhill, Massachusetts

I really want to like this place. I've only been here twice but both times I felt pressured by the owner to order food when we only went for coffee("We have food, too, and it's really good...") and both times he remarked about needing to pay the bills. Talking to the guests about financial stress does not make for a relaxing atmosphere. Both times I was there it was empty or nearly empty. Maybe that's why? It's just weird and awkward to be guilted by the owner for not ordering food. I can see you have food. I'll order it if I want it! Lol They don't do any coffee drinks, just brewed coffee and tea. They should really market themselves as a breakfast and lunch spot not a cafe. The decor is not hip or trendy. It's all dark Victorian reproduction furniture. Not my taste but it's nice and it makes the place look inviting. It is hidden away so the owner should do way more marketing and maybe host some community events. And stop being weird with people coming into your place! Not sure I'll go back again if I just want coffee. read more

So glad to find an all day breakfast place - not too many around. Plenty of parking. Fun place for kids to see trains go right past as you are eating. This place is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated in Victorian-era railroad items. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food was perfectly cooked and tastefully presented. Menu has something for everyone. Took home cookies and and they were very fresh and delicious. Coffee (in a beautiful mug, not styrofoam cup) was perfect as well. Will be back for sure. Some misspelled words on takeout menu - correct spelling is: YOGURT, vinaigrette, mortadella, sopressata, San Pellegrino, pastrami, and Greek and Italian should be capitalized! Forgot to mention the sandwiches and subs (amazing) and so many soups that are out of this world. No one else has soups this good! read more

I go here for one reason only. The bubble tea. And it is delightful. They do a good job giving life to an old train depot.

Ruthie and I were headed out of town and I looked to my right and up on the hill was a sign flashing "open". We both had soup and sandwich and it was to die for. Highly recommend this place. Plenty of parking and the owners are extremely friendly. read more

My family and I go here every Saturday after my sons swim class. We've yet to have anything bad here. Everything is made to order and really good. Prices are reasonable and Kelly makes really good soup. Can't wait to go back next week! read more

All aboard! Couldn't help myself:) seriously a place worth visiting. We have had great coffee and egg sandwiches - but their chicken salad on a toasted everything bagel is fantastic. Finally decided to try Steampunk Station after seeing their delicious looking food on Facebook. It did not disappoint! I tried their seafood chowder, a ton of seafood, delicious flavor, yum! The pastromi sandwich was fantastic! Fresh and full of flavor. I also had to try the bubble tea (banana), oh boy, definitely something I could get addicted to! The staff (and owner, I think) were so friendly. I definitely will be back! (The cheeseburger soup is the next item to try on my list). read more

Just stopped here today after trying to decide on a breakfast place we could try--lived in Haverhill for four years and still haven't been here. The owners are so sweet, they talked us through some of their most popular menu items until we found something we liked. I got a bagel with chive cream cheese and my husband got a pastrami sandwich (he does what he wants lol). Both of our meals were awesome. They even have bubble tea, which was made perfectly! I got milk tea but they have a bunch of different fruit flavors. I don't use the station to commute, but I would imagine it's perfect for people looking for a bite to eat before work. Prices were totally reasonable as well, the interior was beautiful, and we just had a really great time! Definitely will be back. read more

I am giving some extra credit for effort, the service was excellent for a counter service shop. I only had coffee and a muffin on my visit, but there was nothing to complain about and each employee made sure that my order was OK and that I had no trouble getting on the WiFi. By the way, the WiFi performed better than at most coffee shops that I use and infinitely better than at the Haverhill Library where I had been going on my breaks. I will be returning to try some of the sandwiches and will update my review at some point in the future. read more

I really wanted homemade soup and a sandwich. This place didn't disappoint, clearly a small business, and the pride of that comes through in the food. It was a perfect light lunch made with care. Clean establishment, friendly service, good food. The only reason this didnt get a 5 star is because I reserve those for "socks knocked off" food, and the food was wholesome and good (Italian in particular), but not amazing. If I lived closer, this would be a regular spot for me read more
