We stopped in on a Sunday morning- it was our first time here and was pleasantly greeted. Its an old renovated train station, how cool is that! Order at the counter and they cook to order. We both had omelettes with home fries. Omelettes were made & seasoned perfectly. Home fries were not so good. Been here a few times and overall a good experience each time. I often get the bubble tea, which is really good. Cheeseburger soup is insanely awesome! Location has plenty of parking and decor is fun. Has outdoor seating as well as indoor. Owners are always there and very friendly. This place has homemade muffins you guys we had the French vanilla muffin omg it was awesome with a cup of coffee it was perfect. They make great breakfast sandwiches and even waffles!!! I really want to like this place. I've only been here twice but both times I felt pressured by the owner to order food when we only went for coffee("We have food, too, and it's really good...") and both times he remarked about needing to pay the bills. Talking to the guests about financial stress does not make for a relaxing atmosphere. Both times I was there it was empty or nearly empty. Maybe that's why? It's just weird and awkward to be guilted by the owner for not ordering food. I can see you have food. I'll order it if I want it! Lol They don't do any coffee drinks, just brewed coffee and tea. They should really market themselves as a breakfast and lunch spot not a cafe. The decor is not hip or trendy. It's all dark Victorian reproduction furniture. Not my taste but it's nice and it makes the place look inviting. It is hidden away so the owner should do way more marketing and maybe host some community events. And stop being weird with people coming into your place! Not sure I'll go back again if I just want coffee. read more

So glad to find an all day breakfast place - not too many around. Plenty of parking. Fun place for kids to see trains go right past as you are eating. This place is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated in Victorian-era railroad items. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food was perfectly cooked and tastefully presented. Menu has something for everyone. Took home cookies and and they were very fresh and delicious. Coffee (in a beautiful mug, not styrofoam cup) was perfect as well. Will be back for sure. Some misspelled words on takeout menu - correct spelling is: YOGURT, vinaigrette, mortadella, sopressata, San Pellegrino, pastrami, and Greek and Italian should be capitalized! My family and I go here every Saturday after my sons swim class. We've yet to have anything bad here. Everything is made to order and really good. The decor is perfect, especially for a place called Steampunk Station. Absolutely beautiful inside. The staff is wonderful as pie and very personable. Finally decided to try Steampunk Station after seeing their delicious looking food on Facebook. It did not disappoint! I tried their seafood chowder, a ton of seafood, delicious flavor, yum! The pastromi sandwich was fantastic! Fresh and full of flavor. I also had to try the bubble tea (banana), oh boy, definitely something I could get addicted to! Just stopped here today after trying to decide on a breakfast place we could try--lived in Haverhill for four years and still haven't been here. The owners are so sweet, they talked us through some of their most popular menu items until we found something we liked. I got a bagel with chive cream cheese and my husband got a pastrami sandwich (he does what he wants lol). Both of our meals were awesome. They even have bubble tea, which was made perfectly! I got milk tea but they have a bunch of different fruit flavors. I don't use the station to commute, but I would imagine it's perfect for people looking for a bite to eat before work. I am giving some extra credit for effort, the service was excellent for a counter service shop. I only had coffee and a muffin on my visit, but there was nothing to complain about and each employee made sure that my order was OK and that I had no trouble getting on the WiFi. By the way, the WiFi performed better than at most coffee shops that I use and infinitely better than at the Haverhill Library where I had been going on my breaks. I really wanted homemade soup and a sandwich. This place didn't disappoint, clearly a small business, and the pride of that comes through in the food. It was a perfect light lunch made with care.
