Spaghetti and meatballs (kids)

We came on a Friday night at 6 while driving through ME. We were told 15-20 to wait, but got in with only 10 min! The waitstaff was LOVELY. They accommodated our dietary needs (no dairy) I had higher hopes for the stuff shrimp, the topping was very dry. The dining room is nice, but very loud. (But it was a very popular place!)

Prime rib was delicious! Lauren was our server and she was amazing!

Loved the Caesar as a starter and my Prime rib was delicious! Lauren was our server and she was amazing!

Last night I ordered the spinach salad with grilled chicken to go. It was a good salad, not spectacular, however I noticed after eating about half that the produce sticker was still stuck to the sliced yellow pepper! Who doesn't notice this when washing/ cutting produce!! I am not sure where the other half of the sticker was, or whether I or someone else ingested it! I certainly won't finish the salad now and no worry a bit about how they prep their food

Always great food. Uncle guidos cutlet is a must order. The fried seafood is as good as anything you could get in Newburyport.

BOSA Coastal Italian - Seared Tuna

I knew this place opened in Haverhill and I've heard missed reviews about it. When I saw in my…read moresocial media feed that they had a $29 3-course meal deal including a glass of wine, I decided to give it a try. We had a fantastic dining experience at Bosa! They had limited parking but street parking was easily available. We made a reservation through Open Table. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and offered the choice of a high or low top table. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but filled up quickly in both the bar and dining area. We weren't initially offered the $29 menu but I requested it and it was brought over right away. Since the menu included a glass of wine, we started with that. We quickly were provided their delicious bread. I wanted to have more but then I remembered that there were 3 courses coming so I decided not to. For my first course, I went with the mussels and sausage. They were accompanied by grilled bread that my partner ended up having with the sauce. I found this dish to be delicious and garlicky. It was to my liking. For my main course, I went with the baked cod. The fish was cooked perfectly. Potatoes were over-whipped but the seasoning was good. I would order this dish again if the potatoes weren't so runny. My dessert were the chocolate chip cannolis and they were the perfect ending for this delicious meal. Our server was Viana and she was super nice. She checked on us a few times and gave us time to enjoy our meal. They have some igloos outside but I didn't see anyone using them this time. Looked like it could be a pleasant experience. Place has an upscale vibe and yet there was a mix of people dressed to the nines and some more casual. Everybody seemed to be having a good time enjoying their meal. Bathroom were very clean and organized. Value for money this place 5 stars for me. If I was paying full price for it, I would give it a 4. It is a place that I would visit again.

Service was attentive, though our server was a little overly enthusiastic with the endearments. It wasn't bad service, just a bit much for my taste. The calamari was good. It definitely stood out for us. Everything else was kind of...meh. Not bad, but not memorable either. I tried the seared tuna because it was prepared differently than I've had before, it was definitely interesting, just not a wow moment. Same with the parmesan fries. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it also wasn't amazing. I wouldn't rush back, but I wouldn't be opposed to going again in the far future.

Roma Restaurant - The mighty Veal Parmesan! Tender, huge and tasty!

Thought of the Roma Restaurant that we heard was under new management and really good. My husband went in and asked if they were still open for dinner. They said yes that they closed at 9:00 and it was 8:45. I thought that was phenomenal because I can't tell you the number of restaurants say they're closing at a certain time and then when you go, they break the news that the kitchen closes a half an hour or an hour earlier. We went in and decided to eat at a high top in the bar because there was no one in the dining room because it was so late. I will say the dining room is very elegant. And...has cozy booths, which we love! Our server was Dodi who was very pleasant and accommodating. Ordered drinks. And just ordered our entrees right away knowing it was so late. My husband ordered Veal Parmesan and Ziti which was $30.00 and I ordered Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo which was $26.00. Very reasonable for the amount and quality you get. I always say, if you have to anything with an entree because you are not making the margins, go up on price...don't go down on quantity and quality. This place has done that. They brought out some crusty rolls that I believe were meant to be served warm, but weren't very warm, but considering the time, were good none the less. Our entrees came. I've got to tell you; my husband and I are the pickiest people you know. We will drive an hour to a restaurant. I don't like any restaurants in my close vicinity. My husband said this Veal Parmesan was the tenderest veal, a huge portion, and super delicious. As he was eating, he said we are definitely coming back here! The chicken in my Chicken Broccoli Alfredo was super tender! Usually, you get stringy chicken in these dishes which is cheap chicken. It came with fettuccine pasta which the next time I would change to ziti, for no reason except ziti is easier to eat. The alfredo sauce was freshly made from cream, not some globby pre prepared stuff. Very, very good. Nothing like years ago. If you haven't been to the Roma in a million years as we had, don't judge your past experience. Try them out! Very pleasant surprise and somewhere for us to go that isn't an hour away! I will tell you the only mistake the new owners made is in keeping the same name as the old Roma. The reviews on Yelp are mostly based on the old Roma which was a dump. If they insist on keeping the name, they should add something to it and get a new account on Yelp that reflects the new patrons reviews.

For double date night we tried Dicor Italian and Argentinian Restaurant. The food, drinks, and…read moreservice were all wonderful! We can't wait to go again! I love supporting small family owned restaurants. We had 2 orders of the Parillada grilled meat platter: Short Ribs, Black Sausage, Sausage, & Flank Steak. Served with French fries and a mixed salad. My boyfriend had the Fussili Alla Matriciana - Homemade Fussili sautéed with Pancetta in a light tomato Sauce and said it was delicious. We also had some tasty strawberry mojitos, spicy margaritas, and wine as well.

There were 2 other couples when we got there. I ordered the Red Sangria that was 1/2 wine 1/2 orange juice. Not to my liking. Exchanged for a glass of moscato. He had the spicy margarita served in a short glass. which he said was ok. The wine was a little flat. Drinks were $15 each. Dinner i got the seafood special that said shrimp, scallops, lobster tail, and mussels over linguine with a pink sauce. He got the cannelloni one beef and one spinach. My entree had no price listed on the specials menu. I have never let price deter me snd I Was shocked to see it was $60. We eat out a lot but that was in no way a $60 dish. The portions were small. Seafood quality was mediocre. And the lobster tails were rock lobster. Which is a coarser meat and not as flavorful as Maine lobster. Which was misleading on the description. Overall one and done for us. In my opinion its too expensive for what they are serving.

When owner Rob greeted us warmly at the door, we looked around and figured that we had entered an Irish pub or Bistro, since Keon's is relatively small and unimpressive as a structure. However, any doubts we had about the place were quickly dispelled by our server, Kayla, who told us a bit about the menu. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. So awesome was the food that it felt as though we had gone to a community theatre and discovered that we were at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Each dish was beautifully plated and distinctly delicious, with the accompaniments perfect for the featured protein. The chef knows how to create and present "fine dining." Specifics: We had warm bread with a delicious home made hummus, with lemon and garlic. For an appetizer, we chose the " steak bomb egg rolls" which were served with a very tasty remoulade. We each had an entree. My partner took Three Brothers, a dish that offered shrimp, chicken, and beef tenderloin with haricot verts and whipped Yukon potatoes with lemon basil supreme sauce. I had the pan seared scallops, which were served with roasted cauliflower puree, and apple smoked bacon with dijon and golden raison chutney. For dessert, we had a very ample carrot cake. We enjoyed choosing 2 beers on tap: Stella Artois and Allagash White. We were totally delighted with the ambiance and quality of Keon's, and although the prices may seem high, they are totally justified by the fine dining experience that we had. When we left, Keon's was full to capacity, with a few people hoping to get in.
