I'm almost reluctant to write this review in the fear that it will extend my wait in getting a seat next time, but my selfish motives aside, this place was outstanding. This was my first time here, having breakfast with my special needs brother who really likes to eat, and especially breakfast. He ordered the Buzz Special with eggs, bacon, sausage, a choice of generous sides and two dinner plate sized pancakes which he shared with me. I ordered the Irish Benedict with homemade corned beef hash. It was amongst the best I've ever had..and I've had my share of hash and hollandaise sauce. The side of homemade baked beans was generous and delicious, with cooked onions, pieces of bacon, and just the right mix of salty and sweet. In hindsight I should've gotten an order of those to go! The blueberry pancakes were moist and fluffy, not overflowing with blueberries but enough to satisfy. Lastly, the coffee here is excellent. Unlike many good breakfast places whose weak and watered down coffee takes away from the food, their brew was the real deal. Four thumbs up from us! Morning Buzz Cafe is a classic breakfast spot in our family! We go ALL the time. It is genuinely one of our favorite places to get all things breakfast. From eggs Benedict to waffles and French toast to omelets. We went recently and got pancakes and one of their breakfast bowls (forgive me I can't remember the name of it). I got the bowl which was so filling. I couldn't finish it unfortunately... but for what you pay, you get an insane amount of food. The cheese in it was gooey, the chipotle aioli was perfectly balanced, and the avocado added something light and fresh. I also of course love the eggs Benedict (not pictured). And the home fries are definitely the best in the sea coast area. Crispy and seasoned! My boyfriend thought his pancakes were grainy, but personally I loved them. The food looks great and the cafe looks welcoming. But don't be fooled it's quite the very opposite. My boyfriend and I were there for breakfast and the staff was not kind at all. We had 6 different waitresses throughout the entire time we were there. My breaks fast bowl was bland and had absolutely no seasonings. The holland day sauce tasted like nothing. The guacamole tasted like a one of those little refrigerator packets you bring to work or school, was not fresh at all. My boyfriend's meal was so dry and had no flavor that he didn't finish it. On top of horrible food the service was terrible, like I said 6 waitresses in one sitting was ridiculous and they were all dry with no personality and wicked rude. The morning buzz is beautifully decorated. Our waitress was nice. I got the hail Caesar wrap without chicken instead I got avocado it's was okay the wrap was lacking some avocados and had a lot of dressing. We came around 10:00am on a rainy Saturday and it was packed we waited 10 minutes for a table but it was a quick wait. And they used plastic straws and I prefer paper straws. The Morning Buzz Cafe serves good food and the wait staff are cheerful and attentive. I particularly liked the marbled rye toast and baked beans with my breakfast. Ate here twice while we were visiting and it was consistently good. There is a large parking lot behind it and three (3) Chargepoint Level 2 chargers which were extremely convenient while we dined and took walks afterward. I only wish that the owners would have changed the station on the enormous flat screen TV overlooking the dining room. My wife and I had to consciously avoid it given the stress of politics today. Something we didn't need. That said, I would still recommend the Morning Buzz Cafe for a very good breakfast at a fair price. Just hope the jumbotron isn't projecting anything controversial while you are there trying to enjoy a relaxing meal. It lost a star because of it. read more

Honestly, this place couldn't have been more perfect. Headed down to Massachusetts to visit family and my husband was hungry. We've never been to Amesbury, but it was on the way so we had it in. Very easy to find tons of parking everywhere, it was a little bit of a wine when we got there, but the staff got us seated within 10 minutes. This place is spotless super clean. The vibe is upbeat and happy. My husband ordered the corn beef hash with hashbrowns, two over easy, and sourdough bread. I got the California Benedict. These meals were absolutely delicious and arrived at our table in less than five minutes from when we got our drinks. And done we've been here 30 minutes , we've paid the bill. Breakfast, orange juice and coffee for $41 is not some thing you can get everywhere. We will be back. read more

I was literally blown away by how fast the food came out. I saw someone with what I later learned is referred to as a "Bowl". There are several Bowl options. I chose The Original and it was awesome! It was a complex layered affair. The bottom layer was a very healthy portion of home fries. They were perfectly cooked and stayed crispy despite the fact they were buried. I have found the food good albeit a little pricey and there is always a bit of a scramble for the choicest tables. Staff was friendly. Food came out quickly. Kids liked the mouse shaped pancakes but not the fact that it was pancake syrup and not maple syrup....this a big pet peave of mine. If you want your French toast, Waffles and Pancakes to shine go the extra mile and serve real maple syrup. The hubby and I both got the Blarney Benedict was good it was served on a crispy potato skin instead of English Muffins. The Hash was house made which is a plus. The only problem with the dish was the Hash browns they had a weird seasoning I could not eat them just didn't taste right also may have been because they seemed slightly undercooked. In less than 2 years living nearby, we have become regulars at this amazing breakfast and lunch place. The service is crazy fast and everyone always has a smile on their face, no matter how busy. This morning was particularly good because of their special carrot cake Belgian waffle. How good? My husband ordered it, and I just wanted "a bite." I've been here twice in a 1 month period.-with a group of 6. And the other time.1 other. Each visit from the moment you walk in until the time you leave has been very good. Both times I've had their Greek omelet. I've switched up the sides from home fries to fruit and vise versa with toast. The coffee is excellent and the food portions are large. Went here for the first time for Sunday breakfast. I expected a wait and for service to possibly be slow. I was very surprised and annoyed to see that it was seat yourself without any organization or help from the wait staff. Everyone was awkward and unsure of who's turn it was. The wait ended up being less than 30 minutes but once we got our table, which was still dirty, the waitress didn't even realize we were new customers for several minutes. She was very nice about it so it wasn't a big deal, but if the place was more organized it wouldn't have been a problem. Sadly, the biggest problem came with waiting to order our food. We had to wait for a different lady to take our order which took forever. She took her time flirting and chatting with the regulars. The majority of our time there she was sat right in a booth across from us, when she could have taken our order. After taking her time she took the orders of three other tables, including ours. I'm guessing she either lost ours or put ours in last because we got our food 15 minutes after the other tables, all of which had more than two people. She kept making eye contact with us and whispering to the other waitress and everyone looked confused. They all went in the back multiple times, never coming back with our food. One waitress even thought we were ready to leave because we were just sitting there waiting. Basically, the food was not worth the wait or the awful service. Pancakes were over done and the hash browns had way too much seasoning. Pretty sure the lady that screwed everything up was one of the owners which makes this even more annoying. read more

Even though the prices for breakfast seem a little high, the portions are large and food is very good. The pancakes are light and fluffy and they are the size of the entire plate. The California Benedict we had today was amazing. The home fries were cooked well but a little plain. A little more seasoning would really help. The coffee is just ok. Overall, it's a great breakfast spot. The only reason we can't give five stars is because there are lots of flies that bother you during the whole meal. It's pretty good. It's seat yourself but no menus on the table. So there's no point to doing that if all you do is nothing but wait at the table staring off into space. The food is a little above average with good portions. Your paying for, it isn't cheap .Coffee is pretty good. It's s a clean place definitely not a greasy spoon. I did notice the staff really going out of their way to make the older regulars feel good. Nice to see that as always. However it would have been nice if soon after I got my meal some asked if I needed anything or if it was good. Could it have been better yes. Did they fail nope.
