Spot to park your dog. They leave out water for them too.

Great food and goodies. Wonderful atmosphere. Great outdoor space. Rotating art to purchase by local artists

Aesthetically my dog and I are drawn to "Market Square Bakehouse", after we walk the Amesbury Riverwalk, we can sit in an outdoor cafe with a fantastic view of downtown. They do have indoor seating but it's nice in the summer to sit at a patio table, with an umbrella for shade, with all my fellow dog lovers. Market Square gives complimentary dog cookies and has a water bowl on the patio for all thirsty pups. I'm not a fan of the taste of the coffee from Market Square something just tastes off to me, but I do enjoy the quiche, kouign- amann and bagels in the morning.

Excellent coffee, smooth and flavorful. The scones are outrageously delicious. In fact, all baked products are excellent, especially the spicy ginger molasses cookie. They have paninis and capreses sandwiches. Plenty of outside seating that is dog friendly

It was dark when I hurried inside out of the rain but I figured it was the weather. The bakery is located in an adorably historic part of Amesbury. The staff was efficient but really didn't know answers to queries about methods for production. They were merely there to give you your coffee and danish. The pastries looked yummy & I was hopeful with such unique flavor choices for scones. Sadly, when I got back to the car and took a bite of the scone ... it was too hard to bite into and I had to break it difficultly. I began choking on the dryness of the scones and could not help myself even with water or my coffee ... so much so ... that when I arrived at my second stop that day I was still choking a bit and my voice sounded graveling from the uncleared tiny dry bits of the Scone. A friend I saw later in the morning grabbed the Scone out of the bag and said it was probably fine ... but then they too were soon struggling to breath because of the dryness of the Scone. The scones are very hard, very hard to break and very hard to eat. Although cute in location ... I'd find another spot if you want quality.

Mocha and turmeric latte

Stopped in for a quick warm up (when will spring arrive??) and loved this place. Turmeric Latte was the best! A little spicy, very tasty, and so pretty with the matching yellow saucer!! Husband got a mocha and he said it was really good also.

I had a giftcard to use so I've only been once. It was decent. Drinks were pretty good and they had a nice pastry selection.

I'm almost reluctant to write this review in the fear that it will extend my wait in getting a seat…read morenext time, but my selfish motives aside, this place was outstanding. This was my first time here, having breakfast with my special needs brother who really likes to eat, and especially breakfast. He ordered the Buzz Special with eggs, bacon, sausage, a choice of generous sides and two dinner plate sized pancakes which he shared with me. I ordered the Irish Benedict with homemade corned beef hash. It was amongst the best I've ever had..and I've had my share of hash and hollandaise sauce. The side of homemade baked beans was generous and delicious, with cooked onions, pieces of bacon, and just the right mix of salty and sweet. In hindsight I should've gotten an order of those to go! The blueberry pancakes were moist and fluffy, not overflowing with blueberries but enough to satisfy. Lastly, the coffee here is excellent. Unlike many good breakfast places whose weak and watered down coffee takes away from the food, their brew was the real deal. Four thumbs up from us! God willing, we will definitely be back.

From eggs Benedict to waffles and French toast to omelets. We went recently and got pancakes and one of their breakfast bowls (forgive me I can't remember the name of it). I got the bowl which was so filling. I couldn't finish it unfortunately... but for what you pay, you get an insane amount of food. The cheese in it was gooey, the chipotle aioli was perfectly balanced, and the avocado added something light and fresh. I also of course love the eggs Benedict (not pictured). And the home fries are definitely the best in the sea coast area. Crispy and seasoned! My boyfriend thought his pancakes were grainy, but personally I loved them. Everytime we go here, the service is quick and friendly. The ambiance is cozy! And we are never disappointed.

For early afternoon coffee, I stopped by Coffee & Kindness. It seemed like a small establishment…read morewith five 2-tops and one 6-top. The interior felt bright and airy, with light woods and cream/off-white tones. The space carried a slightly upscale coffee shop feel, but without the snooty third-wave energy of plastering tasting notes and bean origins everywhere. I got a large cold brew ($5.50) and a pour over ($6). At the pour over's price point, I would have expected more than one coffee bean option. Service came across as cordial, with my pour over brought out to the table. The establishment offered free Wi-Fi; even on a Labor Day afternoon, multiple people set up to work.

The service was very good. I wound up getting the gluten free waffle which was delicious. Wouldn't even know it's gluten free. It had a great flavor and texture. I asked if there was fruit to add on it but there was not at the time but the employee was nice enough to offer a raspberry jam as an alternative. They also make and have real maple syrup. I got an iced coffee to drink with oat milk. I enjoyed the coffee. There's street parking. I came on a Sunday so the parking was free. Quaint place. Your order then get a number and sit at a table and they bring your items to you. Just a couple seats outside. They also carried a few gluten free desserts like cookies and brownies and have season banana bread. I'll have to go back and try them another time.
