They had an amazing special scramble. Generous portion. I had to order a side of homemade corned beef hash. Excellent.

Was delightfully greeted by Madelyn and Melissa my bartenders. Was served and ate well like always!!! Power went out a few times and was given the option to leave but I decided to stay. After the fourth time I decided to cash out to make sure the place I enjoy didn't get shafted like the individuals who ran out when it went off. Upon paying for my meal and drinks I asked for the military like I always do and was rudely interacted with by the floor manger saying we don't do military I said well yes you do I come here almost daily. She snarled and said well WE did enough for you today, (you mean you served me my breakfast and my three drinks?) and we don't do that. I then showed her that you do have a military discount and she mumbled something under her breath rudely and finally applied the discount. Mind you the bartender apologized, though not her fault. This manager is absolutely rude. This would be the second time. First time I actually thought they didn't have one until the second time I came in and was told there is one and they said this manager is just lazy and rude. The entire time I was here she was sitting down laughing with friends leaving her staff with no help.... throughly enjoy this place, but man she doesn't belong and needs an attitude adjustment. But anyways eat here! Foods great and the Bartenders are sociable. P.S - It would have been a 5 star except for Lizzie...... see you all tomorrow

Our only real option was two seats at the bar. We had quick and attentive service from the bartender. Interesting offerings for cocktails, and we enjoyed our drinks. The food I think can be best described as American/Thai/Asian. Food came pretty fast, and we started with crab rangoon, and possibly the largest we have ever been served. Fried up crisp, not greasy and generously filled with cream cheese and real crab. Next up, we tried the Waygu burger which was quite good, nice toppings. My only complaint here was we wished the fries were fresh out of the fryer. I'm really fussy about fries and like them hot, crispy and fresh. Sadly, these were not. I had my eye on the Choco Taco for dessert, and this was a sophisticated version of the classic frozen treat you may have enjoyed from the ice cream truck as a kid. Home made with great ingredients, it was a perfect finish to a very nice meal. I would definitely give these guys a try when in Newburyport.

This place is immaculate! Every inch of the walls were covered with college banners from all over as well as pictures. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. One waitress has worked there for 30 years. That's a huge plus in my book. We started out with a few beers. They have beer on tap and bottles as well. There is a full bar. It's small but it was packed at 3:30 on this Wednesday afternoon. We asked the bartender about what we were looking to get...I always go large...thankfully he said that a small full bellied clam app and a small huge sized scallop plate with fries would be enough for us. We were so full! Even left with leftovers. Let me just say...can you say, best seafood anywhere? Seriously! So gooood! You have to try this place. Parking is available. If you're going when it's dark, watch for the sign. It isn't that bright. That would be my only thing that wasn't 100%. But hey, it's what's in the inside, right?

We arrived at 2:15 to find the place full. After a short wait a table became available. The place is old and a tad shabby, but in a quaint, homey way. It `appeared to be clean (including the rest rooms) Sports memoribilia adorn the walls. Our server, Patty C. (a middle aged blond lady) provided excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service and patiently answered our questions with a smile and sense of humor. Now for the food! My clam dinner was outstanding, among the best I've had. My only issue - a minor one - was the "market value" price of the clams. I thought $42 was a bit steep. But in view of the freshness and portion size I'm inclined to overlook this. My wife also very much enjoyed her chicken tenders. All in all an excellent lunch with very good service. Will definitely return when in the area!!!

The pork belly sandwich special was an unforgettable mouthful: juicy, cheesy, and perfectly stacked on toasted rye that added the ideal crunch. We were shocked (in the best way) by the salad portions--massive! Easily enough to feed a family of four, and fresh as can be. The cornbread? Soft, sweet, and heavenly with the honey butter. We did think a little toast would've helped that butter melt just right--but still a must-order. The house pickles were crisp with the most satisfying snap and bold flavor. We also tried the hush puppies with their unique dipping sauce--super creative, though not totally our vibe. Limited seating means you might wait, but trust us--it's absolutely worth it. Booth or table seating. The Rusty Can is a flavor-packed experience from start to finish.
