They had an amazing special scramble. Generous portion. I had to order a side of homemade corned beef hash. Excellent.

Think of the spongebob episode with the giant paint bubble, but this time, all memories of…read morecharacters, logos, people, etc. from the 60s was shoved inside the bubble so when it exploded, all the walls were covered in everything 60s - this is how I would describe my first impression when I first walked into this diner. It's colorful, it's groovy, it's bright, it's nostalgic. Even the employees are wearing shirts with funky themes and patterns. There are TVs showing shows from back then. The floors are checkered, the ceiling is silver, the chairs are red and the tables are blue. We were seated at a booth, which can more than comfortably sit 4-6 people. The menu is HUGE, think cheesecake factory but for a diner. There's a little bit of everything but the font and everything around it makes it hard to focus on what each item is. I went very simple and chose the Simon and Garfunkel which included two pancakes or French toast, two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, toast, and home fries for $18.99. After about 15 minutes, our food came out. The bacon could have been crispier, with some parts being wobbly. The sausage was thick, juicy, and savory. The potatoes were a little bland and mushy on the outside. The eggs were cooked medium, just how I requested them, and the englush muffin was a little different than your traditional ones since it didn't have the little pockets of air but it was still good. The French toast was moist, but I wish it had more cinnamon - the egg was the dominant flavor. Overall, it was a very satisfying breakfast. There is plenty of parking as it's in a plaza

The service is always amazing and the food is always on point and it never disappoints. The ambiance is like a typical diner with booths, no loud music so you can talk to your party. Let's get down to the food. Cinnamon Bun Pancakes- this is my go to because I love it! It's not overly sweet which I love and it reminds me on a cinnamon bun. I always get one lol Country Benedict- this is what I order every time I come here as my main dish. You get buttermilk biscuits instead of English muffins with sausage patties on top and the lovely gravy. The gravy is soo good. CHOCOLATECHIP pancakes- my daughter go to since she loves chocolate lol. Which 5 year old doesn't right? She always gets this and it's really good. So if you're in Hudson be sure to come here, you won't be disappointed.

** Patty Melt review **…read more Roadside eatery in a tiny strip plaza. Outside, it looks nothing like the classic New England train car style or New Jersey stainless steel style diners, but inside are countertop with stools, booths around the outskirts, and the hustle and bustle giving it a strong diner vibe. Like my visits to many diners, I was here on my patty melt quest. -- Patty Melt: First, the composition is faithful to the prototype, with a quarter pound patty (no smashburger nonsense), rye bread (no sourdough decoy), buttered (not merely toasted), and with the classic Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and thousand Island dressing. No fusion, no reinvention, no omissions, no hipster jive. Good crispness and butteriness on the bread, great melt on the cheese, and noticeable softness to the onions. Most importantly, the beef could be ordered medium rare, and they executed. More softness, with gushing juices and a really pleasing bite. I suspect nothing special to start with, but they cooked it to near perfection. Only quibble would be not much crust to the patty, but not as critical on a patty melt. -- Fries: I could have had tots or a few other options, but fries were fine. Almost certainly frozen, but the skin-on variety and not the dreaded coated kind. Nothing special, but good enough. Service was adequate. It seemed like everyone was prepping to get everything gathered and cleaned for closing about 90 minutes earlier than necessary, but that didn't detract. If anything, it shows initiative and hustle. Not much data to go on, but an easy 4 for me.

Emphasizing the positives here…read more Absolutely characteristic, think Twin Peaks. A tad overconfident perhaps* though the steak tips \italics{were} excellently temperatured, and accompanying breakfast eggs "over medium", though properly done (+1), where themselves of the most discount quality one can find anywhere. All other vittles were edible, let's say. Ambience again, utterly characteristic, almost a world apart. The beautiful plastic serving baskets lent an aire of Summertime freshness; equally aesthetic were the matching red naga booth and barstool leathers; if the franchise is going for retro diner chic - totally nailed it (+1). *A note on the prices, which any Tom, Dick, or Harry can see are plainly served above their rank. $4.25 for the thinnest 'coffee' you've ever had, literally no taste and I am a great lover of coffees of all varieties. What are we paying for? That's boutique espresso chain pricing for a boutique cappuccino. Incidentally the menu does offer a 'cappuccino' but the waterboy informed our table that in fact there may be found no on-prem espresso machine. 18$ hamburger sandwich of the poorest quality components, patty so thin, bun so uninspired. What are we paying for? Actual conversations with actual customers yielded the following hilarious actual quotations**: "A not-good airport restaurant not in an airport, but with airport prices." [sic.] -actual customer "You can go and get a big juicy delicious half lb burger at a Boston gastropub for those prices. I've never had a worse hamburger." [sic.] -actual customer I'm embarrassed to include literal figures, something I would never normally do, and it displeases me to give a local establishment such a poor elevation. One doesn't mind tending a pretty penny in a tasteful offing, but the numbers you see here suggest terms like "egregious" and "predatory", and a quick glance at other reviewers shows much similar sentiment. ** I myself can attest to patronage in each case. The atmosphere is great, the employees were super friendly and nice to us as well as themselves. I liked the way they communicated to eachother, it shows that they have a organized work ethic back there. The food came out fast, and the quality of food was great! Smoked salmon Benedict - 8/10 This is my first time having eggs Benedict! I am impressed at the size of this thing! The smoked salmon is fresh and delicious, goes really well with the sauce. The egg is a soft sunny side up egg, but I think traditionally it's suppose to be poached but it still tasted good. The hollandaise sauce itself was okay, didn't have enough flavor in my opinion but nice consistency. The potatos were nice and crisp! Chicken and Waffles - 8/10 The best chicken and waffles ever! The waffle is HUGEEE and super fluffy and crisp on the outside. I love these waffles! The chicken itself was okay, definitely didn't taste fresh. Overall, this is a great diner. Lots of options for everyone and personally I'm not a breakfast person but I still enjoyed my experience here!
