A new tradition has been set in stone! Christmas Eve breakfast and Bloody Marys before the day(s) take control. My husband and I (ok, me) had a craving for a Bloody Mary, and if breakfast was a part of the situation, terrific. We remembered Linda's, parked easily and were seated immediately. Hugely nice surprise because-Christmas Eve morning. Super clean, all the staff were dressed in some variation of Christmas ie Santa Suits, Elves, etc...and everyone had a smile which goes a lonnnng way. The Bloody Marys were delicious, just ask for spicy if that's your vibe. Regardless, they had a few choices of 'hot' that I could add on my own. My husband had a monster plate of eggs o er easy, toast, bacon and hash browns. Literally, the plate was almost pristine by the time he was finished. I had a grilled bagel with cream cheese (old school but my idea of a treat so no judgement) and a side of beans. They were excellent! Lots of bacon and onions, and most of all, not the wallpaper paste that you sometimes get because they've been festering in a pot, on the stove, somewhere in the back of a kitchen. The rye toast came loaded with avocado with a little bit of diced tomato and a good amount of pickled onions with a drizzle of balsamic glaze. I requested the 2 eggs that came with over medium and on the side. Choice of a side was also included, I picked the hash browns (shredded). I've been around for a while and never had a tough pancake until my visit to Linda's. The pancakes were large but tasteless and tough and 6.99 for one. And I can't imagine what happened to the scrambled eggs. They were an odd color and dry. The bacon was a pile of greasy curled up pieces. This breakfast definitely did not scream out "I was made with love!" The servers were very nice and quick but the food needs an overhaul. We will probably not return. read more

Came here for a late breakfast (~11:30am). The place was really busy on Sunday lunch time and luckily I could get a seat at the end of the bar. I got my coffee order in early and it took a little while to get my order in because everyone was busy with other customers. The busser actually saw i was ready to order and called the waitress to take my order. I ordered the 3 egg breakfast with bacon, home style potatoes, and a side of crispy bacon. The food came out pretty quickly and the food was good. The restaurant only got busier as time went on and seemed like there were lots of regulars just hanging around and flirting with the waitresses. The service was fast, friendly, and coffee service was great. I actually had to turn down a refill at the end because I was done. Overall, a great regular breakfast. The meal went fine but the problem started when another server came to our table wanting to know if we paid. I showed her my paid slip from the credit card. My friends paid in cash. She insisted one of our checks wasn't paid yet because it "wasn't closed out yet in the computer/register". Maybe she should train the employees how to complete the payment. Wonderful food and wait staff, would definitely return for breakfast. My son was not crazy about his crepes but that's only because it just wasn't really what he expected and he probably should've just stuck to his regular chocolate chip pancakes, which I did see others order and they were huge! I needed a bite to eat after running some errands. I searched and found Linda's on Yelp. Walking in, it reminds me of old country divy diners. I was curious, so I found a seat and was helped immediately. Hot, yummy, satisfying coffee was poured, and I was given a minute to review the menu. There are many choices here, which can be overwhelming. But I zeroed in on their corned beef fritters plate and was intrigued! Food came out fast and steaming on a humongous plate! I didn't realize it came with THREE eggs; sheesh, this platter should be shared! Ha ha. I asked for over-medium eggs, which were very under, barely over-easy. I was disappointed until I tried the fritter. Amazeballs! Huge cheesy beefy goodness fried to perfection! The sourdough toast looked a bit charred but turned out to be soft, chewy, good bread! The hashbrowns were slightly too crunchy for my liking, but that really didn't stop my hungry tummy from digging in. My husband and I ordered eggs Florentine. We have been eating this breakfast for 30 years. At Linda's restaurant, it comes with burnt spinach and broccoli on a soggy croissant. With scrambled eggs. the food was un edible and the waitress was aggressive , uncooperative disrespectful, and mean. This is the worst breakfast. Best Lobster Roll! I had been craving a real, honest to goodness lobster roll after not having one for maybe 2 years. Linda's Lobster Roll is dreamworthy. Worth every penny. Freshest lobster meat, not a lot of mayo, butter toasted roll.... SO GOOD! I was afraid that because I had built it up so big in my mind that it could be a let down. Nope! It was AMAZING. We found this place a few minutes from our hotel. It had great reviews. When we got there it was busy but we got a table. Service was quick and very friendly. The portions are huge! So don't order too much or you won't be able to finish. I got the blueberry pancakes. They were nice and fluffy. I was only able to eat one. The omelette was big and my nephew substituted hash browns fir a bowl of fresh fruit. Hubby had ham and eggs with hash browns. Both breakfasts came with sour dough bread. After working outside in the cold, I stopped for a lunch break at Linda's Breakfast Place around 1:25PM on a Tuesday, figuring I could be in and out of here in a timely manner and meet up with a crew at 2:00PM in Seabrook. I was told I could seat myself as I entered with a few customers here. The place has table seating and seating up at the counter/bar, painted red floors. Linda's Breakfast Place offers a solid breakfast menu (served all day) including egg dishes, 14 types of 3 egg omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, Belgian waffles, sides, and a kid's menu (12 & under). Lunchtime offerings (served 11:30AM-Close Mon-Fri) include sandwiches, wraps, burgers (6 oz fresh), salads, soups, fish chowder (Fri only), fries, rings, and potato salad. A specials board is posted. The prices are pretty reasonable, most items under $10, lobster & cheddar omelette, lobster roll, and steak tips, slightly over $10. Botted beer, wine, and mimosas available. I ordered a drink which came out quickly, but I needed another minute to decide what I wanted. The waitress came back about 5 minutes later to take my order. The food did take a while to come out (18 minutes after ordering) though and the place really wasn't that busy. Most of the staff looked occupied in preparing for closing, doing cleaning, sweeping and wiping down things. I did some paperwork while waiting. I ordered the Patty Melt ($6.95) which had Swiss cheese, grilled onions on grilled pumpernickel bread with a side of sweet potato fries. The food was pretty good as I enjoyed this classic sandwich (well done burger as requested) and the sweet potato fries were hot and crispy outside, soft inside. After I was done eating in 5 minutes, I asked for check which was dropped off. I cashed out at the bar when the waitress didn't return. I needed to boogie, so I could make my meeting on time. Overall, 3.5 stars for this early afternoon weekday lunch visit. I would return here for the breakfast because of the solid breakfast menu and the positive reviews.
