    two plates of breakfast food
    Nicole D.

I stopped into Linda's on my way home from a road trip looking for a local restaurant with good breakfast. My boyfriend and I were not expecting such a flavor blast! I ordered an omelette (I created my own), hashbrowns, and rye toast with orange juice. My boyfriend ordered the Hungryman, which included pancakes, eggs, sausage, homefries, toast, and coffee. We enjoyed every bite and left stuffed and happy! Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and our big portions of food came out quick. If you're looking for extraordinary breakfast in the area, you won't regret checking out Linda's!

Came here for a late breakfast (~11:30am). The place was really busy on Sunday lunch time and luckily I could get a seat at the end of the bar. I got my coffee order in early and it took a little while to get my order in because everyone was busy with other customers. The busser actually saw i was ready to order and called the waitress to take my order. I ordered the 3 egg breakfast with bacon, home style potatoes, and a side of crispy bacon. The food came out pretty quickly and the food was good. The restaurant only got busier as time went on and seemed like there were lots of regulars just hanging around and flirting with the waitresses. The service was fast, friendly, and coffee service was great. I actually had to turn down a refill at the end because I was done. Overall, a great regular breakfast. Nothing special but they do the normal things right.

Wonderful food and wait staff, would definitely return for breakfast. My son was not crazy about his crepes but that's only because it just wasn't really what he expected and he probably should've just stuck to his regular chocolate chip pancakes, which I did see others order and they were huge! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was so friendly and great considering it was very busy, which I'm sure was a testament to how good the place is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were visiting from out of town but this will be our new breakfast place when we visit the Hampton/Salisbury area!

I needed a bite to eat after running some errands. I searched and found Linda's on Yelp. Walking in, it reminds me of old country divy diners. I was curious, so I found a seat and was helped immediately. Hot, yummy, satisfying coffee was poured, and I was given a minute to review the menu. There are many choices here, which can be overwhelming. But I zeroed in on their corned beef fritters plate and was intrigued! Food came out fast and steaming on a humongous plate! I didn't realize it came with THREE eggs; sheesh, this platter should be shared! Ha ha. I asked for over-medium eggs, which were very under, barely over-easy. I was disappointed until I tried the fritter. Amazeballs! Huge cheesy beefy goodness fried to perfection! The sourdough toast looked a bit charred but turned out to be soft, chewy, good bread! The hashbrowns were slightly too crunchy for my liking, but that really didn't stop my hungry tummy from digging in. I brought home half for the hubs to enjoy and all this for under $20, including the tip! Service was top-notch, as well! I will be back, but bring the hubs to share the food with, lol!

The patty melt was out of this world. Those rings were scrumptious.

Best Lobster Roll! I had been craving a real, honest to goodness lobster roll after not having one for maybe 2 years. Linda's Lobster Roll is dreamworthy. Worth every penny. Freshest lobster meat, not a lot of mayo, butter toasted roll.... SO GOOD! I was afraid that because I had built it up so big in my mind that it could be a let down. Nope! It was AMAZING. What a treat. Have been back to Linda's 2 other times and everything's been awesome. Great coffee, great service. Just all around excellent. It's good to get there by noon at the latest. Linda's is a real gem!

Great breakfast spot to start a beach day. Eggs, homefries, toast... all delicious. My son's favorite is the Firehouse French Toast (they use a cinnamon swirl bread). I like the Texas French Toast with strawberries and whipped cream. My daughter likes the Silver Dollar pancakes off the kids menu (but they're not small!). My wife lived the Broccoli Quiche special. Everyone was full and satisfied. Highly recommend for a good traditional diner breakfast.

We had decided since there are a few restaurants here that we were going to have dinner here first. We got greeted right away by the hostess who was busy but acknowledge us & told us "I'll be right with you." (5 stars for this action) which she did. We got seated right away (great job!) This is a small restaurant with a bar inside. It has a nice, classy decor. It was clean & organizer nicely. We were greeted right away by our server Ryan (5 stars) & we shortly placed our drink order. I got a Truly on draft (a favorite of mine), Tammy got an espresso martini that she said was really good (she ended up having a 2nd, me too) & Janet got a Tito's and soda. Drinks came out quickly (kuddos) We placed our food order. I went with the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and everything was delicious, so delicious that I cleared my plate which is a rare occasion for me because I'm a picky eater & I don't usually finish all of my meals (5 stars for this dish). The girls got the steak tips and they looked horrible. They looked burnt on the outside & not appetizing @ all. Tammy's was way over cooked & too hard to eat so she informed Ryan of this & he offered to have new ones made but she didn't want to wait & was fine eating what came with it. Janet liked her's & didn't' have the same issue. I thought they both looked the same. Burnt, over cooked & not appealing @ all. Janet was jealous of my fried chicken sandwich & wished she had gotten that instead. Ryan was an excellent server & did everything right. (I was a waitress in my 20's). 5 stars for his service & personality. They don't have a bathroom in here but they have a short cut to the one outside of the restaurant. On our way out Tammy & I saw their salt & pepper shakers and found them to be gorgeous. I actually snapped a picture of them & did a Google search & found them on Amazon & already own a pair...thank you! I will defiantly be back here probably for the fried chicken sandwich again. I really wanted a side of Mac & Cheese (they have it as a meal) but unfortunately they don't do sides of it.....bummer! So maybe next trip I will try it. Thanks for a great dinning experience (for myself) & a delicious, just right dinner!

There were affordable options with some higher priced dinners. There was an option for everyone in our party. I had the stuffed haddock covered with a seafood stew. I'm a little bit of a snob when it comes to seafood stuffing so I was a little hesitant to try it but OH BOY am I glad I did. The stuffing and stew were amazing! No leftovers for me. This casual family owned and operated restaurant cafe serves up breakfast all day and lunch. The place was redone with a brighter and an inviting atmosphere with booths along the walls and in front, table seating in the center and counter seating in the dining area. There are patriotic prints on the walls and checkered floors remain. I've picked up Lebanese and Italian food from the previous restaurant in this space and it's bittersweet seeing a small town breakfast and lunch spot open up in its place. There are a few other options in this area, but spread out. I decided to stop by here for breakfast before work. I got here just before 6:30 and sat myself in a booth which had menus to look at. The breakfast menu offerings include breakfast platters, 3 egg omelettes, pancakes, French toast, Belgian waffles, breakfast burritos, Tony The Tiger (frosted flakes French toast), hash (canned and homemade (soon)) and breakfast sides. The lunch menu offerings include fried appetizers, hand cut fries, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, soup, chili, salads, comfort dishes, and daily specials. The prices seem fair, most meals $8 to $15 range (in 2024). After I was seated, the server came over and offered a drink and I requested an ice water since I already had coffee beforehand. They did not have homemade hash yet, so I eventually decided to go with the Steak Bomb Omelette ($13.50 plus tax) with choice of toast (I chose sourdough) and one side (I got home fries). My food was served in about 8 minutes after ordering. There was a good amount of hot food on my plate. The omelette was filled with grilled shaved steak, green peppers, onions, mushrooms & cheese (I chose cheddar) with a folded thin egg sheet. This omelette was pretty good. The home fries were fresh cut potatoes (cube cut) lightly grilled and seasoned, which were potatoey and with the skins. The sour dough toast was firm and had minimal butter. The server dropped off the check as I was almost done eating, no rush. The check was $14.65 with tax and before tip. Overall, this is a good place stop for food and I plan to stop by for lunch next time since I saw they had chicken tenders, reubens, monte cristos, mac & cheese, and spaghetti & meatballs (Wednesdays). The friendly staff knew people by name as they stopped in for breakfast. The service for weekday breakfast was prompt and I was able to make to work on time. It is noted they are closed on Sundays (at the time of this posting).
